Even over the phone David Ramos took the time to ease my mind and explain how they get rid of the termites in my type of home. He was able to get out the next day to inspect my home. I had an ant problem that was more than frustrating. My husband doesn't like contracts, and did not want to hire an exterminator, but did not have time to spray for ants properly. I called David and had an exterminator at my house within 2 hours. The price was fair, and the exterminator was friendly and experienced. I also have my backyard under construction, so he did a thorough job spraying all potential bug hot spots. It's been about 10 days and we are ant free. Do NOT use this company if you suspect bed bugs. After BF complained of mysterious bug bites for weeks -and- then finding 10-12 blood smears that morning on my sheets plus a couple of fecal spots on mattress near the blood spots, Josh looked on one side of the mattress and then told me there wasn't likely anything to be worried about. Didn't even bother to look at the couch where my BF complained the most of bites. (All THOROUGHLY explained and visually demonstrated to him. In fact, it took me longer to explain the history than it did for him to examine my 2,000 square foot home.) Even after I called post-inspection, still worried and not convinced, particularly concerned that his inspection and advice was inconsistent with most PCO's website information on bed bugs. BUT, I was told that "Josh is a professional and knows what he is doing." I call B.S. Josh is not a professional. His shoddy attempt at the inspection and "spraying" were completely ineffective. And totally contrary to the industry standard. He missed clear evidence of an infestation at the head of the bed. Had he conducted a proper investigation, it would have been discovered. This company has no idea how to properly investigate or treat for bed bugs. Stay away!! read more

I originally made the mistake of first contacting Terminex . I scheduled them to arrive to my home with my free evaluation of my home situation , and free estimate .Lol ,,! Not really all that special, doesn't everyone do free estimates?! lol... Anyhow ,the guy was a nice guy, he measured entire outside of my home, etc. and than tells me I most Definately have termites in two areas of my home that are clearly visible inside. ,! One located at the bottom left side of my entry door frame inside, the other on bottom baseboards inside located by my bay window .He says that I have what's called Mud Subterranean Termites. , , ! Awesome ..., , ! He than says you need to take care of this as soon as possible. Scared me so much I thought omg. ...! and it's two small areas. Lol so he says,I'm going to put you on my schedule for next Tue. I'm like ok , he gave me my estimate of almost 1,400 and off he went . I Than I wanted to cry. And so I did. I Than I called David and Tracy my dear family friends . I explained to David my entire situation , he graciously gave me his expert advise , gave me a lesson on termites, also that they use canisters , etc. , I sent him the pics and he suggested another company entirely ... I'm located in Calif. He graciously assisted me and set me up with the company he used to work for when he and his beautiful wife Tracy lived in Cali.... I'm beyond grateful . I'm happy to report that I absolutely won't be using Terminex, . Rep basically lied to me about one Area the door which simp,y needs to be painted period. ,! So, after our last big rain - what do you know, we found a couple of termite tubes out on the back patio. We hadn't had the house serviced since we had it treated for termites when it was built (over 13 years ago). Anyhoo - I jumped on YELP to see if I could find a termite company to compare to our current pest control servicer (we have the house and yard sprayed for bugs every 6 months or so). Great free inspection and information. I had them come out to check out our house as we had noticed a couple of things that made us nervous that we might have termites. David arrived on time, inspected the areas (with me) that I had concerns about and confirmed that there was no evidence of termites. He then walked the perimeter and inside of our house with me and pointed out some things we could do to minimize infestation risks and make any termite activity more noticeable. I found evidence of termites and called several companies to come out and give bids. I chose this company based on the information they provided me and the 5 year warranty available. They were prompt and did a good job. Their prices are pretty fair based on the companies i interviewed. They were not the cheapest but they did a good job. The only issue i had was when they covered the holes they drilled it was kinda sloppy on some of them. read more
