The bowl looked correct until I noticed there were no strawberries as advertised. I did call 4 times. The first time they answered heard me half way through and then hung up. Next few times I was forwarded or it just rang. That small bit took my experience with this business from 8 to 1. How rude. I simply was calling to let them know about the mistake and to be more aware. Sad to say I may never return.

The food truck is a bit larger, since it operates as two businesses: La Guerita Roasted Corn and Lesley's Sweet Bar. While the menus are distinct from each other, it's the same folks working on both. That being said, it's among the nicest and most colorful I've ever seen. Together, they sell a variety of indulgent, comfort food. Lesley's side is undoubtedly sweeter and a bit heavier emphasis on fried items from stuffed churros (#2), deep fried oreos and brownies, with a nice selection of milkshakes. For La Guerita has fries, prepared nachos, and and an intriguing big cup called the vaso loco ($12), which is layer s of cheese, saue, elote on top and bottom for the ultimate experience. My hot cheetos esquite was nicely decorated and heart despite the small cup. The flour tortilla tasted fresh, the taco was delicious, and the salsas made it even better. I also tried their hot brown sugar coffee, and it was perfect. I told them I didn't want anything too sweet, and they were able to control how much brown sugar went into it, which I really appreciated. Myda, one of the owners, was super sweet and really made sure I had a good experience. The food is amazing, the coffee is perfect, and the service is warm and welcoming. I usually stop by to catch my breath after exercise. This is a family run business. The staff speaks good English and their clientele is primarily Mexican. I felt comfortable eating here, because everyone seems to mind their own business. I've heard their ice creams were either made in house or coming from other stores. However, this is not part of the Arandas Family's chain (bakery and taqueria). Aqua fresca is served from a refrigerator, not giant jar as other taqueria. They use ice chips from freezing part of liquid, and then break them as part of drink. That's a smart way to keep the flavor consistent after ice melts. I've tried every flavor. There all my favorites. If this is your first time trying tutti frutti one, be careful with the chopped fruit pieces. Not recommended for small kids. Prices are $2.71 chico, $3.50 medium & $4.50 large.
