Been on our list of breakfast places to try since we moved here a year ago, based on other good reviews. Menu is large, somewhat confusing to understand if you're trying to do a combo type meal. Very attentive server. Portions were big, pancakes were light and fluffy, and the Western omelette was excellent - lots of flavor. Nice that I could make it an egg white version. Another overdue review from my fall travels in Florida. I took an early morning stroll across Alligator Alley and did so with time so I could grab breakfast here before going about my day. Excellent service here. Was immediately seated and had my food within about 20 minutes of ordering. Located in a strip mall, there was lots of parking *big menu, too much to choose from * friendly and attentive staff * clean restaurant and restrooms *no problem modifying menu/ small- half sizes available *my pumpkin waffles ( short stack) were delicious; no syrup or butter necessary *my two eggs over easy were perfectly cooked *my husband's egg white lobster omelette was delicious, as were his hash browns . No leftovers there ;) *my friend's French toast with fresh fruit looked amazing, and her portion of hash browns was huge- age gave me a bunch. *our only complaint was they gave us the check while we were still eating, and kept coming by as if to kick us out. Hubby has always been a Skillets die hard fan, but after coming here for the 1st time that's changed. The menu is extensive with a lot of funky options and combinations and of course, the every day popular usuals for breakfast and brunch. Although we thought the wait was going to be long due to the amount of people waiting, we only waited 15 minutes on a Sunday late morning to be seated. They have a large amount of staff all hustling. Within a couple of minutes of being seated, we already had hot coffee at the table and our order was taken. In less than 10 minutes of our order being taken, our food, came to the table and it was absolutely delicious. I tried the Greek skillet, which had Gyro, feta, tomatoes, two fried eggs, hashbrowns, a side of tzatziki and a side of marble dry toast and some sausage gravy. Hubby had the Greek omelette . Our coffee cups were constantly refilled, and we were even asked at the end if we wanted coffee to go.! Service was fast and everyone was polite and attentive. The food was good except the bacon was over the top well done so I am giving it 4 stars. The rest of the food and service was great. I will try this place again and hope to up the score. We eat at the one in fort myers twice a month and this one while good seems to be just a notch below that one on good quality. read more

This is my favorite local chain. Consistently great food, on point service, food comes out lightening quick and restaurants are clean. Tried the lobster Benedict with fresh spinach, a new addition to their vast menu, and it did not disappoint. English muffin was crunchy, eggs were cooked to perfection and the hollandaise sauce was luscious and then add fresh spinach and lobster chunks, hello breakfast...Jessica, our server was friendly and conscientious. I usually have breakfast when I go to House of Omelets but this time I decided to get some lunch instead. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger wrap and a side of fries. This wrap was HUGE and I was fully expecting a chopped up burger patty but it was stuffed full of ground beef, bacon, lettuce & tomato. It was really delicious and I would definitely order this again but without the fries. They weren't anything special but I'm not a huge fan of steak fries anyway. My husband had a gyro that was probably perfect. I can't think of a better one we've had anywhere else. Topped with juicy tomatoes, onion and tzatziki, the lamb was nestled in a warm and chewy pita. I got the Corned Beef Special sandwich. Served on the loveliest marble rye I've ever seen, the beef was griddled and topped with tangy, creamy coleslaw, and accompanied by a side of Russian dressing which I liberally applied. Fantastic! My mother-in-law had the Reuben, and gave it high marks as well. We were very full, but brought back some house-made baklava, which we should be tucking into this evening. Our table had avocado toast, a spinach and feta omelet, an Italian omelette and a turkey club sandwich. The food came promptly and looked and tasted great. The turkey club had fresh thick pieces of turkey in it. Our friend really enjoyed it. One note, the person who ordered the avocado toast is a vegetarian! We had to point out that there was a on in it. The waiter was nice enough to ask if they should serve it on the side in case anyone else wanted it. I am very excited this business survived the shutdown. Mrs. K. and I came here for a somewhat late breakfast we had no problem being seated. Service was on point and our order came out FAST. I ordered their Grand Slam which was ham, bacon, sausage, 3 eggs, hashbrowns and for health purposes whole wheat toast. Mrs. K ordered a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant. She noted it was somewhat bland. I mean it is chicken salad which is always bland. But I didn't mention this to her out of concerns for my safety. This is the standard breakfast place. I had to add salt and pepper to my gravy and I never do that. The omelet itself was just alright. I'm not fond of omelets that are basically unscrambled scrambles, what I mean is the egg should have none of the toppings in it but rather the egg is holding all of the toppings in. Eat at your own risk. They wouldn't accept coupons from a book I bought to support our local high even though the coupon itself did not have restrictions.
