As we approached the menu, we were greeted with some very friendly employees who were happy to help us navigated the menu. Your first decision was to select a salad, wrap, or bowl. After a few moments, I quickly decided to build my own wrap. For my wrap, I started with wheat tortilla and a base of romaine. For my toppings, I was seeking a high protein focused meal so I opted for avocado, bacon and eggs (hard boiled). And to that, I added the (warm) fire roasted chicken with the honey musted dressing. After sitting down, I took the first bite of my wrap and so pleased with the freshness. It tasted fantastic! All the ingredients really married well together. Okay... let's start with the pros: clean interior, kind and attentive staff, crisp, fresh ingredients and wide variety, good prices. Now the cons: they don't use any reusable tableware, just plastic containers - even if you're eating in house. And they STUFF the container with salad which like yay get your money's worth but makes it difficult to eat without spilling - especially! if you get your dressing on the side to mix in later like me... It may seem like the pros outweigh the cons here, but that con is a big one for me personally, so I won't be returning often. read more

The salad was delicious but I have to say there was way too much dressing added. My fault too, as I was supposed to see and let them know but still... the salad was soaked in sweet dressing, it didn't taste healthy at all. It felt like green dessert actually. My husband and I shared it and we could not finish it as it was just too much that sweet dressing. Stopped by Giardino to grab a "My Way" Salad to go for dinner. The small salad is $10.50 and includes a lettuce base, 4 toppings, and dressing. One can add homemade croutons or a protein for an additional cost. I highly recommend getting your dressing on the side and dividing your salad at home into two; portions are huge! With that being said.... The bacon topping is uncooked and clumped together a lot. The avocado or hardboiled egg isn't cut up very small. The iceberg lettuce is shredded which makes it feel store bought. The salads are lettuce heavy compared to toppings given. And there is no ranch dressing option; SHOCKING! When you enter the menu is on the wall with around a dozen offerings. I ordered a small Habanero Salad. What impressed me most was how polite and helpful everyone was. I noticed while I was there they said welcome to customers when they came in the door. This made for a very friendly atmosphere. While watching my salad being prepared I was impressed with how immaculate and orderly all the displays of the ingredients were. The place has a fresh clean look. When I sat down to eat my salad I looked over past yelp reviews and could se that Daniel was the owner. I saw a young man that appeared that he might be Daniel and he said he was. I told him that it must take a good volume of customers to keep the fresh products on display. He said they have been in business for a year and it was a good year. I enjoyed my habanero salad. The ingredients were fresh and tasty. The small size was a generous portion. I believe I paid $8 and change. So a great value to me. I will return with my friends. Overall I would give it 4 stars but may even say 3.5. The spinach salad was delicious and we added chicken which was very good and also the cauliflower. The Parisian salad was very disappointing. It was supposed to come with Brie and apples and I am guessing they just left both off completely because I could not detect either one. The cookies were pretty good. It's like they don't want* you to feel comfortable enough to sit inside and socialize. They were somehow out of romaine lettuce. This is a salad restaurant. How are you out of ...lettuce? The "fire-roasted" chicken is obviously not grilled on-site. It tastes like pre-cooked chicken from Target. The corn is obviously from a can. For me, this place is just okay. I go to a lot of salad places in big cities and this place is not nearly as good. I got the Habanero... it was mostly lettuce; very little of the other ingredients. The salad wasn't tossed at all and because the container is so small, it was impossible to mix the ingredients together. Between the sparse ingredients and container; it basically tasted like a lettuce-only salad with dressing. The other thing I simply find funny is the name of the salad... Habanero is one of the spiciest peppers known however this salad is actually dressed in such a way that it ends up tasting sweet... no heat at all. As for the 3-star rating; only reason I'm giving this high is because the staff are nice, place is clean and I guess it's a good healthy option in this area. read more

I am so glad I found this location on Yelp. Giardino is the new kid in town and I can already tell they're going to make a killing. My husband isn't fond of salad joints and he said the Mama Mia not only tasted delicious but kept him full, if that doesn't speak volumes - I don't know what to tell you. I had the Thai Thai salad with curry turkey and just about lost my mind at the first bite. The flavor is spot on. The salad it's self was so fresh and so were the toppings. The customer service is outstanding. The young people up front are eager to take your order and well informed on the ins and outs of the menu. The facility is clean and well maintained. The owner Daniel was there and went out of his way to ask how everything tasted and even picked up our plates. He was beyond friendly and welcoming. So I have been here a few times now. I reallyy like the Wok salad. My partner and I share one and we cant finish it due to how much food it comes with. I am writing this review because when I walked in today I could see the worker in the kitchen on her phone and it took about 5mins to be helped. Then in the middle of making our order she disappeared for another 5mins. After I finally got my order I turned to get a fork and the dispenser was empty, fine no problem, I turn back around to ask for one and the girl is gone. I say "excuse me" loudly and still no answer. I walk to the front and peek into the kitchen and shes on her phone again. So I say "excuse me again" and no answer. At this point other customers have walked in and no one is being helped. Upon entering we were greeted by a couple of servers who asked us if we were here for the first time. They then made a few recommendations so I did try their popular Thai Thai salad which I only modified by asking for extra dressing to be mixed in. It was a nice slightly spicy blend of peanut dressing with carrots, beans sprouts, Cabbage, cucumbers, Lettuce & cashews. And my husband decided to make his own mix which he enjoyed. Then you can pick your protein, cheese, nuts , sun flower seeds and so much more! Oh I must comment on the salad dressing! They are delicious! So many options and home made! I love the honey mustard!
