    Beef Tongue Salad
    Steffi K.

4.3 stars Pandan tea (complimentary) - so fragrant and refreshing! I've only ever had this hot before, the iced was super delicious. Shrimp toast - the one thing I probably wouldn't re-order. Shrimp paste wrapped with a golden toasted bao bun, I just think that the shrimp could have been a bit more fragrant and bouncy. Beef tongue taro salad - so many textures! I absolutely love taro and all the crispy shallots in here. The fish sauce dressing helps cut through what could be a greasy dish, it was super refreshing and fun to eat. Forgot to take a picture of the Cajun butter udon. We ordered with steak, which was seasoned like lomo saltado, and the cut was on the thinner side, so it was cooked well-done. Udon sauce was delicious and so garlicky. A little expensive, and I personally prefer my steak a little more rare, but it was still cooked well, not rubbery :)

I got a yelp notification on my phone about a new Vietnamese spot in Hayward that served lomo saltado and a few other Peruvian fusion dishes so I knew I had to check it out. As someone from Miami that knows what a good saltado should taste like, I left feeling very satisfied and will come back to taste the rest of the menu, especially being someone that loves Vietnamese food and pho. I think the only questionable thing is im not sure if the fries were peeled and made fresh in house, but not a big deal. The server was nice and food came out quick also! Plus they serve you a tea that was pretty good. Will be back! (The wings caught my attention)

Cute little place with a lot down at the corner, some parking behind and some street parking. There are a good amount of options especially considering that they are also Peruvian fusion. The broth of the pho was flavorful and there was a good amount of meat in the bowl. I would have liked the meat in general to be more tender. It is interesting that they give you hot sauce and pickled garlic in small containers instead of a communal one on the table but I guess it is more sanitary. I like that they give you iced tea. The Viet coffee was not very strong as it usually should be but overall it was okay. Staff was friendly but didn't check in during our meal.

Ok Hayward! This pho spot is legit! I had my doubts at first but I'm like I'm coming here more often! This pho is legit, you don't have to drive all the way to sj! Taste just like Hanoi style pho, very good portion sizes. Wish they opened up back when I was still attending East Bay. I would have been here everyday! My tummy is so happy! Would come back (10/10)! They serve their pho with Chinese donut, pickle garlic slices, and house made sriracha (legit spicy)!

Loved the Peru by way of Vietnam interpretation of lomo saltado with shaking beef flavors. I also enjoyed their take on shrimp toast, which uses steamed buns rather than white bread and features a delightful sesame seed crust and wasabi mayo dipping sauce. The tofu and the fresh avocado in the spring rolls was a nice counterpoint to the peanut sauce. The service was generous, attentive, and very accommodating of the toddler with us. It was so thoughtful of them to bring her a plastic cup of water with a lid and straw, plastic dishes, and a side of cucumber on the house when she decided that's what she liked most out of the spring rolls. We also received complimentary pandan tea, which was light and refreshing. While parking along Mission Blvd. may be scarce, there is parking in the lot for the adjacent park and behind the storefronts. Don't let the traffic or anything else deter you from trying out this flavorful gem In Hayward.

5 stars - excellent service, reasonable price and good tasting quality food. The meat was tender and the broth was tasty.

I've driven past this restaurant several times and always wondered if it was worth trying. Yesterday, a last-minute dinner plan with my girlfriends finally gave me the perfect excuse to find out--and I'm so glad I asked them if they would like to try this restaurant and they agreed. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, so I highly recommend making a reservation, especially during lunch or dinner hours. The dining room was clean, cozy, and well-kept, creating a comfortable atmosphere without feeling cramped. One nice touch: as soon as we were seated, the staff served us this "colored water." My friend said she asked what it was, and they explained it was lemongrass tea. It was light, refreshing, not sweet and a thoughtful way to welcome guests. Everything we ordered was beautifully plated. You could tell they paid attention not only to flavor but also to presentation--each dish looked just as good as it tasted. Shrimp Toast Bun - A fantastic starter. Perfectly toasted with a satisfying crunch, while the ground shrimp filling remained soft, flavorful, well-seasoned, and a great starter. Spicy Sticky Chicken Wings - These definitely earned the word "spicy!" I have a pretty low tolerance for heat, so I found myself taking a sip of water after almost every bite. They were so crispy, juicy, and delicious and the sticky glaze had just the right balance of sweetness and spice. Even as someone who doesn't usually order spicy food, I'd absolutely get these again. Lomo Saltado - This was outstanding. The beef was incredibly tender, and every component worked together perfectly. The crispy potatoes soaked up the savory sauce without losing their texture, while the tomatoes and pickled onions added freshness and brightness. The fried egg on top was cooked perfectly with a rich, semi-runny yolk that brought everything together. My only wish is that they offered the option to substitute garlic noodles for rice. I think that combination would take this dish to another level. Pho Suon Khung (Dino Rib Pho) - This was easily the showstopper of the meal. The giant beef rib was unbelievably tender. The meat was pre-sliced and the was served on top of the bone so it literally is falling off the bone with barely any effort. The broth was rich, deeply flavorful, and comforting without being overly salty. It's the kind of bowl that makes you slow down and savor every bite. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. Our dishes arrived at a comfortable pace, giving us plenty of time to enjoy each course without feeling rushed. The staff checked on us just enough to make sure we had everything we needed while still allowing us to catch up and enjoy our conversation. They also kept our complimentary lemongrass tea refilled throughout the meal, which was a thoughtful touch that we really appreciated. Between the delicious food, beautiful presentation, clean and inviting dining room, and attentive service, this turned out to be one of those hidden gems that exceeds expectations. It's always fun when a spontaneous dinner ends up becoming a place you'll genuinely recommend to others. I'm already planning to come back with my family, and for me, that's one of the highest compliments I can give a restaurant. Looking forward to trying more of the menu next time.

We ordered: *HaNoi style pho (their milky broth is a weekend only special) *Sesame Shrimp Toast *Pork and Avocado Spring Rolls *Cajun Garlic Butter Udon *Lomo Saltado Service was good, food was good - definitely a modern twist to Vietnamese food. Parking was a little tricky but was able to find street parking

[IN A NUTSHELL] overpriced vietnamese food, good appetizers [VERDICT] - APPROVED [RUN-DOWN] Came to this place because I've been seeing it on ads. Overall a decent vietnamese restaurant but I feel like it was hyped and more trendy vietnamese than what I am used to where you go to a random pho restaurant and get a food for super cheap. They did have a nice twist of the appetizers that I haven't seen. I think if you're looking for a vietnamese place that has some classic but willing to try some new appetizers you should come here. They also had this lychee lemonade that I would try if I were to come back. [SCORE & ORDER] OVERALL: 3.63/5 Khoai Tây Muối Ớt (Devil Fries) $9.00 (3.5/5) - Perfectly golden fries tossed with aromatic scallion oil, pepper salt, savory Chinese sausage, dried shrimp, and fluffy pork floss - The fries were supper crispy and soft and it was a good appetizer. However, I do think that they needed a little more flavor. It had the classic loaded fries but I wish that the sauce would've been in the middle of the fries. The nice touch about this was the chinese sausage and the dried shrimp and the pork floss which I have never thought of for putting on fries. This is a good item to share with others. I would ask for the wasabi mayo on the side or get the shrimp toast and use that sauce. Bánh Bao Tôm Chiên Giòn (Sesame Shrimp Toast) $9.50 (4/5) -Golden bao buns filled with savory shrimp mousse and sesame, served with a punchy wasabi mayo. -I highly recommend getting this. This tasted like a Mantou that was deep fried (which is normally a dessert with condensed milk) but it was deep fried and filled with shrimp! It almost tasted like a deep friend siu mai but with more fluffy bread. It was actually so good! The wasabi mayo that came with it also gave a nice touch to it. The shrimp was also super juicy in the middle and came out fresh and hot. Cơm Thịt Nướng (Vietnamese Grilled Pork Rice) $19.00 (3.5/5) - Fire-grilled pork and a sunny-side egg over butter rice with pickled onion, lettuce, and tomato. Hit it with fish sauce, mix in the scallion oil, and go crazy. -The grilled pork was super juicy and delicious and lots of flavor. They have a different take on the fish sauce it normally comes with where I think it's a mix of sweet chili and fish sauce? The coconut rice was also really good, not too overwhelming. I do wish that the pork was a little more charged. Overall this dish was good, but not too much of the wow factor Vietnamese Egg Coffee $7.50 (3.5/5) -This was a pretty decent drink, had the normal vietnamese coffee flavor. The egg topping gave it the creaminess and was a nice touch. It also comes it somewhat of a large cup so I think it was worth it! [SERVICE & ATMOSPHERE] (not reflected upon review score): Service was good, there wasn't much checking in on how the food was or if we needed anything. Atmosphere was pretty quiet for lunch time (we were the only ones there for awhile). Parking may also be hard because it's in an apartment area.

Overall small mom and pop service a little slow for the size but nice portions and presentation. Lomo saltado and nice tender filet chunks tossed with onion and tomatoes in a sweet soy sauce with crispy fries. Butter rice with an egg on top. A little rich on the oil side for me after while with the fries and buttery rice. The cilantro sauce was a good touch as well. Could use some citrus and or spice to help balance out the richness but would get it again. Others in party got the Cajun butter noodles taste like Cajun seasoning and some heat too was also good We all liked the crispy shrimp toast as our app chopped shrimp came out like a shrimp sauce inside a crispy bun

The Yelp AI assistant recommended this Vietnamese Peruvian restaurant. Pho and Lomo Saltado? What?! Must try. The small restaurant is new and has 6-7 tables. The signature pho was really good with a twist in presentation. The Lomo Saltado was fun, more Chinese forward flavor than one might get at a Peruvian restaurant. My favorite was the beef tongue taro salad. Crunchy, sweet, salty, spicy, sour and minty. Yum!

Tried Superclub on a Thursday night and it was fairly quiet, likely because the restaurant is still so new. We were seated immediately and the service throughout the night was incredibly kind and attentive. We ordered the garlic cajun noodles with steak, garlic cajun noodles with shrimp, and the lomo saltado, and every single dish was immaculate. The flavors were perfectly balanced, everything tasted fresh, and you can really tell care went into the cooking. The portion sizes are also very generous, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend checking this spot out. Great food, great service, and definitely a place we'll be coming back to.

Cajun noodles with dino rib w/added fried crab and egg
    Natasha K.

I appreciate that they have the option of ribeye or dino rib. I'm not sure I'd describe the flavor of the "Cajun garlic noodles" as Cajun. It's on the sweeter side than I'd like. I also wish they had more than one flavor of wing options. I also expected more avocado in the "avocado" spring rolls. The Dino rib meat was very tender. I can't speak to the ambiance because I got it delivered, but it was fast on a Friday afternoon.

I had my orders to go. This place is good -- I think it's a touch below Dairy Belle in terms of quality but much much cheaper. They only offer window service with some benches outside. Very diverse menu -- salmon burgers, pastrami burgers, teriyaki chicken, etc. Seem to have something for everyone. Upfront, I was a long time customer of dairy belle, so I am trying to find a suitable replacement burger. Unfortunately this isn't it! The burger isn't bad, but I would say they are average at best - the meat lacked flavor (maybe more salt), the lettuce was shredded and lost in the burger - either the hot burger wilted the lettuce or the lettuce had seen better days. Onion was two very thin rings of onion and the bacon was slightly undercooked so that it didn't bite off and it ended up in my mouth on first bite. Overall a lackluster burger slightly better than a fast food chain. Fries weren't crispy either. Don't know if I will eat here again since I am looking for a burger that stands up to my expectations. The protein might be different depending on the day but they've all been good. The place is tiny, maybe like 10 chairs so you might have to wait at prime times. Service is friendly. A couple times they've told me to pick up to go orders at a certain time but I had to wait an additional 15-20min after arriving but not too big of a deal.

This is the sort of place to get an impressive, affordable and delicious brunch if you're hungry, or to just have a relaxing morning with your family (or alone), if you're not in the mood to cook

The wait to order wasn't too long, maybe 15 minutes? While you wait, you pass by a display of cookies and they even have samples out for everyone to try. The staff was very nice, even though they were super busy! We tried: - Free chips & salsa: These are a must everytime I visit denica's. They are a great snack while you wait for your meal. 9/10 - The ube pancakes: These were pretty solid. I didn't think that the pancakes themselves had a very strong ube flavor, if any. I think all of the flavor was in the ube coconut sauce that they come with. However, there is only sauce on the first layer so you might want to get extra! It is an additional $2.75 or so to get the extra side of ube sauce, though. The pancakes themselves could have been a little more moist and fluffy, as they were a bit dry and dense. I loved the fruit and sauce, so that definitely made up for it! I'm glad that I got to try, but I don't think I'd get them again. Instead, I would get a regular pancake and a side of the ube coconut cream! 8/10 - The chorizo burrito: My bf said that this was also a pretty good option. He thought that it could have been a bit more flavorful, but was still satisfied with his meal! 7.5/10 - The side of hash browns: These were good, as to be expected! The portion was a bit small in comparison to other diners in the area. 7.5/10 Overall, I always enjoy my experiences at denica's! The vibes are always there, and they are such a convenient place to grab breakfast or brunch.
