I ordered 4 pies. the service was neutral and the ambiance seemed engaging because it was about getting that $$. When the pizza arrived, I was pissed because the pizza was burned, (like really dark) cheese was dark and not cheesy at all, some of the crust was burned and hard. Got me a plain cheese slice to go tonight since i walk by this pizzeria all the time. On occasion in the past ordered from here a few times & remember enjoying other pizza joints around my hood more so than this particular one. Well my cheese slice to go was everything!! Came in for a classic NY slice and it was delicious. Unfortunately, besides the lady at the counter the other two guys working there are jackasses. I don't know if they're just the pizza makers, counter worker or whatever the hell, but they couldn't even bother to answer a simple question without giving an attitude. I like this pizza shop because it is located near the train station. The staff workers are friendly and polite. They always have a variety of pizza options on display. Plus the shop is always nice and clean! I ordered 2 slices with spinach and pepperoni. It was a slightly thin crust pizza with tons of spinach on it and a layer of pepperoni on top. When you take a bite of this pizza all you hear is the crunch. This pizza does not have enough sauce for me but, next time I will ask for sauce on the side. I like a messy tomatoey slice of pizza. I will return to this pizza shop if I am in need of a slice. read more

Good stable spot for a slice to grab and go. It's a normal, neighborhood pizza shop run by nice people. The pizza itself is as any standard NYC slice should be. The slice is heated to hot, the bottom perfectly crispy, the cheese ooey-gooey, it does the job. I like me a plain slice. Or spice it up with chicken, bacon, ranch (with the option of blue cheese instead of ranch if you order a pie), a good hearty option. Spinach ricotta is not something I usually order but it is delicious if you're willing to dismiss tomato sauce for a day. We ordered a pie for pick up, I'm sure it was once awesomely scalding hot, but by the time we dug into the pie it was a little on the cold side. I think it slightly de-elevated the flavor of the chicken, bacon, ranch slices, but it didn't do any harm to the spinach ricotta slice. After a 10 minute stop in the oven, the chicken, bacon, ranch I was a lot happier, but I felt like I could only eat so much of it. It's a dense, intense flavor. I'd maybe just stick with only one slice of chicken, bacon, ranch. I guess I'm more of a Margherita sort of gal, as I have learned over the years. So that's probably why I want to try that next time I order from here! If I lived closer I would eat more pizza (from here). read more

My sister and mother order from here regularly. Each time I visit New York I order from here as well. The pizza is made in a brick oven. The crust is always crunchy and not over cooked. The staff is friendly and kind. They deliver within a reasonable amount of time. They also have reasonable prices. This is my favorite neighborhood spot. I'm here about twice a week, and then just pass by to say hi the other days. The plain slice always hits the spot but I'm always happy to try the new toppings (the chicken parm slice with bacon? Soooo good.) For healthier options, the grilled chicken salad is decent - balsamic vinegar is only for special customers like myself. I bring everyone I know to this spot, then I go eat in the park on nice days. They are catering my 30th birthday/housewarming for 30 people. Bad pizza, bad experience! Ordered a LG pie 1/2 Peperoni 1/2 onion, olives and anchovies. After 45 minutes I get the order and pay then I opened the box; all toppings are on the top of each other as if the pie was flipped upside down....I'm more sure it fill on the ground! Although the food is always delicious here, I'm only giving them 2 stars today because of the way the owner treated an employee. I do not speak the language but body language also speaks for itself. The young lady with blond hair was trying to ring out a customer before me, when a little kid interrupted her to ask prices. Maybe this was the lady's first job but she had a hard time multi-tasking. The owner just yelled at this woman with no respect to her or the other customers that were watching. Seemed like a typical machismo show. Truly disappointed that business men, such as this man, treat women so poorly in public. I feel bad for this woman. I hope she gets more experience soon and leaves that place. Came to this area for a meeting and could'nt find a decent place to grab lunch. As I walked past this place, the man inside greeted me and so I thought I'd give this place a try. Pizzas from this place are great, especially the pepperoni ones. Pasta are great too, I personally like the penne alla vodka.
