Before even beginning parts of the inspection, Tom was able to identify the model and type of the windows and appliances just by looking at them. It was clear right away that he's an expert in this field. In addition to having many years of experience, he is also an engineer, which gave me a lot of confidence in the inspection and made me feel even better about choosing him. As first-time homebuyers, we didn't know much about what to even look for, and Tom was incredibly patient and generous with his time. He didn't rush the process at all and was happy to answer every question we had. He walked us through how different systems in the house work, what kinds of things homeowners should keep an eye on, and how to properly maintain different parts of the home over time. It ended up being not just an inspection but also a really helpful learning experience for us. The report was excellent -- very detailed and easy to understand, with great photos that included arrows and markings pointing to exactly what he was referencing. That made the report especially useful. We also received the report very quickly after the inspection. Overall, the entire process was professional, thorough, and very informative. We're really glad we chose Immaculate Home Inspections and would strongly recommend Tom to anyone buying a home.

While the day of the inspection was smooth / pleasant and we used his report to close on our home, Tom missed some critical issues with our home and became very difficult to work with when we found issues.. Proceed with caution Tom missed several big issue with our home that has caused our family significant financial hardship months after the home closed. In particular, Tom missed a massive section of drywall that had severe mold and decay within the wall. I contacted Tom after I personally discovered the issue and asked if there was a possiblity to refund any part of the inspection fee to cover the cost of replacing a large section of drywall / paint / finishing services to remove the molded foundation. Tom refused and insisted that by NJ law he did not need to find/report mold and actually he had no responsiblity here. While I understand he has a business to run, it was a bizzare way to support your customer and I did NOT feel like there was value in using his services to inspect any future properties. Instead, I had to bring in a SECOND inspector to actually find any further issues AND pay for correcting the damage to the home. If this was found during the contracted period, I could have used this to recieve credits from the previous homeowner. I'm just so dissapointed in his lack of throoughness and his attitude towards supporting his customers. Please consider using an inspector that will go above and beyond for your home purchase in the future; not someone who will do the bare minimum and then avoid supporting you Additioinaly, I honestly had a lot of issues with Tom's output / inspection report quality. During live inspection Tom identified some water damage in the basement and reassured us everything would be included in the report we would use for the home purchase and we didnt need to take notes. In the end, he forgot to include the water damage in his report and the report itself had multiple innacuracies about basic details of the house that seemed to be copied over from a previous report on a different house. If you use Tom, please pay close attention to the inspection in person and read the report carefully to ensure all the issues found in the inspection are present / accurate

I received the name of this company from a list in the community that I live in. He received good reviews there. So I made the call to engage him to make a bid for doing the job. Yeiner's word was bond. We were involved in all the stages of repair of our hardwood floors even including a couple of unanticipated challenges. First we thought we only would do a patch up job about 200 so ft. We saw proof of his ability to do that job and do it well. But then we had a problem with the Brazilian Cherrywood we purchased. We purchased the wrong size wood from a local lumber shop. It seems the original wood Camden from China and the US milled wood was 1/8th of an inch different which then required changing from a patch job to having to do the whole floor and having a second installment of wood resting prior to installation. This really jammed us up on the timeline as we were heading out of the country for vacation and wanted the job done before then. It all worked out. He worked it out. True to his word. What a consummate professional. He showed up on time and gave us good estimates in when they would wrap up for the day. He communicated well to us. He took painstaking care to protect the rest of our home from debris and dust from the wood. His workers treated our furniture which they moved around the same way. The professionals under his employee were respectful, courteous and very extremely competent at their job. And the quality speaks for itself and the end result was fabulous. If we ever have another problem like this I can say with absolute certainty that we would employ the services of this company again. I mean he even helped us transport the lumber to our home on a minutes notice. We were really in a bind as I am not capable of lifting a container of 82 pounds of wood let alone 10 of them. But he was just reliable and dependable and very kind to us. And we found his rates for the labor to be quite fair and reasonable.
