Yea so convenience isn't always a good thing. Because you end up with sketchy things happening…read more Went to get an emissions test and was failed because "the rubber thing on the gas cap, I can't get it to unfold, it's weird". Told me to get a new one and come back to have it tested again to pass. As soon as I heard it I was over it and tried to maintain my composure just to get out of there. Even the guy in there waiting for his car seemed confused. Not even a 2 year old car, no alerts or engine light ever on my dash or car app, cap properly clicks, no leaks reported, no odor, no visible damage and looks new...and I know what tf a gas cap is supposed to look like. To give the benefit of the doubt I consulted several sources. When I parked near another auto place just to FaceTime my husband and show him, a guy looked at it and said that's bs. Took it to AutoZone and they laughed, came out to look at it and even show me a BRAND NEW OEM one and told me it was perfectly fine. Took it to a place I trust and they were just as confused. Inspection passed. Not worth the convenience of a quick check if you have to deal with bs. Either they thought I was dumb enough to pay for another inspection through them or, you have really inexperienced people working for you. Either way, I'd highly suggest avoiding Jiffy Lube and I will be taking action. Definitely not about the $18 but wasting my time with a perfectly fine gas cap for what?! ...has pissed me off.

I see having an appointment doesn't mean your car will be brought in at the requested time of appointment or if you will hear back from them on the same day. Prepare to have someone pick you up, tho they did offer a ride if needed. The parking lot is full and the Bays are full. The Counter Staff took my car in quickly. I am hopeful they will be reasonable, if so I have another Vehicle to bring to them.

When I noticed that Hope Automotive had become Goose Automotive, I decided to give them a try. I was dealing with an issue on my 2014 Ford F-150 involving two "Not Ready" indicators related to the oxygen sensors during the State Emission Inspection. There are four oxygen sensors on the vehicle, and the manager advised that resolving the readiness issue could be challenging. They quoted $188 for the diagnostic and corrective work, which I approved. They kept the truck for several days and ultimately confirmed that the sensors themselves were functioning properly. They recommended that I drive the truck at least 100 miles and then return for a retest. I followed their guidance, brought it back in, and the vehicle passed the inspection without issue. I also had my wife's Toyota inspected during the visit. I found Goose Automotive to be friendly, informative, and fair in their pricing. I highly recommend them and give them a full five stars.
