This place gets pretty busy on the weekends but there's always staff ready to help, and they never act "too busy". They will drop whatever they're doing to help a customer and that's hard to come by. I come to PetSmart about once a month, sometimes more. I had one bad experience with PetSmart Corporate when I ordered something online and the order somehow went to a store a few hours down south. The staff at the Visalia PetSmart was SO HELPFUL! They told me to call the store the order accidentally went to. The staff at that store was very helpful as well and they told me their system was down and they were unable to cancel the order, but they gave me the number for the corporate office and told me they should be able to help. Worst experience ever. It was a Friday afternoon, around 5pm but someone answered the phone. I didn't get her name but if I did I would have been sure to make a complaint. This woman was so rude! When I told her what happened she told me I had called the wrong number and I needed to call the store the order had gone to. I explained that I had and she was talking to me like I was taking up her time. This is her job, I should be a priority and not a nuisance. And I wasn't even asking for a lot, I asked for her to cancel the order and she kept coming up with excuses after excuses to not do that. She finally decided that I would just have to wait until the store down south's system was up again. She ended up hanging up on ME after I had told her I didn't think that was a good idea. She said something like "have a good day" and just ended the call. I went back into the store (understandably) angry. I let the woman who was helping us inside the store know what had happened and how upset I was. I told her I would just purchase the item again in store and figure the rest out later. The item I wanted ended up getting discounted and the assured me it would be taken care of. Sure enough, everything ended up ok! I was so appreciative of the Visalia PetSmart staff. They are incredibly friendly and nice. I will always continue to work with PetSmart.

I had a horrible experience at this establishment. If I could describe this place in three words,…read morethey would be, negligent, unreliable, and incompetent. I took my dog back to Pet Envy at 4 PM after noticing his haircut was uneven, and I was told to wait for a call back when he was ready. Nobody ever called. We came back, the doors were closed, and I had no idea where my dog was. I stayed there for hours, I called their number, no reply, and had to reach out to the nearby businesses, pet shops, and animal control. It wasn't until 7:40 pm that we got in contact with the owners and had their doors unlocked. Upon entering, we found our dog inside one of the kennels near the main entrance of the building. We were told they "checked" the building for animals before leaving, but they clearly did not, or else they would have noticed my dog right beside the main door. A customer from a restaurant nearby told us this happened to their dog as well. I also heard multiple complaints from the other people that I spoke to. Leaving a customer's pet locked inside after closing is unacceptable. If I hadn't stayed there for hours and contacted numerous people, my dog could have been there alone for more than 12 hours without food or water. I would never recommend this place to anyone who cares about their pet, there is truly nothing to "Envy" here.
