I didn't want to give them no stars until my delivery. Got picked up March 16, 2018 moving from Texas to Michigan. I'm still waiting on my belongings while Ricky is in Israel. The movers was late picking my stuff up by a day was supposed to be picked up on the 15th. Here it is the 22nd of March and I still don't have my belongings. I didn't hire Ricky to move me Superstar Van LIARS line did which they didn't tell me they were a broker. This shit got me so stressed out all I want is for my stuff to be here already. Then he's trying to charge me more money when I don't have much. I want my stuff Ricky. While you on vacation and shit you need to be getting me my belongings. I will be back with a update whenever my stuff gets here. Then I tell him I will have family come pick my stuff up from him since he is taking to long to deliver and he says he was gonna charge me 500 to get my stuff from him that he hasnt even delivered. Or thought about delivering since he chilling in Israel. While I'm here in Michigan cold. With no furniture. I WANT MY STUFF AND I WANT IT NOW RICKY. YOU PISSING ME THE OFF. I want my belongings why are you holding them. I will write a bad review on every web site and page Ricky has until I get my belongings. I Was reluctant in using them for a move after reading the horrible reviews , however since a great friend and ex- colleague recommended this company as the best National Relocating Moving Company. I was very surprised that the reviews I read where not at all what I experienced at all! I was very surprised and have to mention that the reviews are not at all what I experienced and I will continue to use them for all of my future moves both personal and commercial. Ricky worked diligently with his staff to priorituze my move, and was very respectful of my moving criteria needs , and budget. I give them a thumbs up and hope that he begins to receive proper recognition for the wonderful work in logistics with the amazing team he has working with him, he has an amazing staff with careful professional movers that where indeed on time , and Im hoping to see more positives reviews from this wondetful company. Kudos to you all wonderful folks that respected my belongings , time and money while making me feel like family! Houston First Movers is hands down the most unprofessional business I have ever seen. I had arranged for my stuff to be moved from Houston to another city 8 hours away and everything was supposed to arrive on Saturday at noon. However, the movers did not show up at the scheduled time and nobody would answer our calls or respond to our texts. So after 10 hours of waiting we finally got a hold of the owner who said that they hadn't even left Houston yet and weren't sure when they'd be able to. So at 10:00 PM I found out that I didn't even have a mattress to sleep on and had to arrange for a room at a nearby hotel. The movers didn't end up showing up until Monday afternoon and they were very rude and unprofessional. So not only did I end up having to pay for the move, I also had to pay for 2 nights at a hotel and I missed a day of work. And there was absolutely zero communication on their end. PLEASE do not hire these guys, there are plenty of more professional companies in Houston that will actually follow through on getting you your stuff on time. If it was possible for me to give them 0.0 stars on here I would. read more

WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS. This company was provided to me by a broker and was the worst thing to ever happen to me. This company picked up my job at 2:00am. They never took and inventory and they made us load the truck, which they were suppose to do. They also showed up with someones else load in the truck and we had to leave behind roughly $2,000 worth of belongings. We were told it would be an empty truck. They never wrapped any of our furniture and took no notice to things labeled glass or fragile. We lucky had plastic wrap and tried our best to protect our furniture. They failed to communicate with us and finally when they did we learned our stuff was in Houston in a warehouse. They stored it there for weeks. I saw pictures from the truck driver who delivered my stuff and it was haphazardly tossed around in just one warehouse. A lot of our furniture is beat up now and a lot of things were broke. This company was absolutely awful. No communication, no inventory, they have not refunded me for the days after 21, it was the worst experience I ever had to deal with. read more

The movers were scheduled and verified to show up between 8:00 and 10:00 am. When the movers were not there by 10:00, I call the owner, Ricky, who said they were on their way. By 11:30 when they still had not shown up, I called again. Ricky said they were just getting into the truck and about to leave. Interesting response since last call "they were on their way". The next call came at 1:30 when movers were still not there and I was told again, "they are on their way". At 3:30 one person showed up and proceeded to sit in the truck instead of doing something. Rest of the crew shoed up a half an hour later. Six hours late. When they delivered my furniture, not to my surprise, they were only 4 hour late. The only problem was they were scheduled to show up at 8:00 pm and did not show up until midnight and didn't finish until 2:00 am only because my wife and I help them unload. They also left pieces of my furniture in their storage and damaged most of the furniture that was delivered. read more

We received excellent service from 2 Men and a Truck on a last minute request to help us with a local move to The Woodlands. Ricky was very friendly and helpful setting up the move for same-day service on a Saturday morning. Our two man crew, Jon and Jose, showed up right on schedule within 3 of hours of our initial call. They were very friendly, courteous, efficient and highly professional throughout the move. Their vehicle was in excellent shape and well equipped. They took extreme care with padding, wrapping and moving every item; not just the furniture being moved, but also the walls, ceilings, doorways and hardwood floors at both the load and unload locations. We bought a new house and needed to move out of a rental. I made several calls to 3 different companies and only one of those 3 called back. And it was HFM . Ricky came over and gave me a quote. On the day of the move, Jose, yoel and erik came on time, a little early actually, and went right to work. They had my whole house beautifully packed and were so pleasant. I would reccommend this company to anyone I know. They were the fastest movers I have ever had and when we arrived at the new house they unpacked and put things exactly were I wanted them. And they even moved things because of course I changed my mind. But they said "no problem" and they meant it. Great job, guys. read more

We had never used a moving company before and we were very nervous. We made sure everything was packed and ready to go. The guys got there, I showed them what needed to be moved and they went to work. Before I knew it we were headed to the new place and they didn't leave til everything was were we wanted it. They definitely went above and beyond making sure my son's bunkbed was setup properly since it hadn't been together in years. Fast, efficient and friendly. Please do not utilize the company they have numerous complaints on the Better Business Bureau. You will get scammed and every dime you owe will be taken from you ad well as your household goods. All the good reviews are from people that know him. He took me for my money and I will not let him get away with it. read more
