Communication is awful, I had to call several times to figure out what was going on with my order and most of the time I was being ignored. I finally went and commented on Facebook posts THEN they got in touch with me. Delivery are a complete disaster, they send very young guys, 1 of which was very unprofessional, cursing in my home with my 6 year old son running around. Worried about getting home too late to go out with friends instead of putting the furniture together. Way too much time is spent in the homes when these deliveries are made, it was a 2 hour job that was done in 5, my fiancee ended up jumping in to get them on their way so we could go to bed. These guys had little to no experience in assembling furniture which resulted in a king bed not being put together correctly and my son's full size bed not being put together at all because they thought they were missing a piece. A new part had to be ordered, which he didn't do right away, he waited until I got upset to do something and had the nerve to curse at me when I was getting upset due to his incompetence of running a business. He blamed the furniture vendor when all along it was his own fault. Tad could not care less about making anything right, be careful, just because he discounts everything, doesn't mean you'll be happy. After over a month of dealing with this business I'm so glad to be done with them, don't put yourself in this position and go somewhere else !

We visited several places and then remembered that the place we got our mattress (Texas Mattress Makers) also did sectionals, etc. This places looks like a big warehouse when you drive up but when you walk inside you see that it is a nice place to shop. Living Designs has a large selection to choose from and the best thing is that they love making custom furniture., We were greeted by Dean. He showed us around, told us about the furniture that was on the floor and answered all our questions. The best thing about getting furniture from Living Designs is that ALL the furniture is made here in Houston Texas. All the material that is used in make the furniture is sourced in the USA. Living Designs has lots of different styles to choose from and lots of different fabrics to choose from also. Frame has a lifetime warranty under normal wear. Foam has a 1 year warranty. Sewing has a 3 year warranty. Fabric has a 1 year warranty. Dean made us feel comfortable which is why we decided on Living Designs Furniture for the purchase of our custom made sectional. Delivery was in a timely manner for furniture which was custom made. So far we are pleased with our sectional from Living Designs Furniture. That being said, they had a fairly large selection of items, at all different price points. It's mostly furniture along with rugs and smaller home decor items. The service was friendly and helpful. It's a family business, in operation for 30 years. They have sales on occasion and were doing 30% on certain items to celebrate their 30-year anniversary. Our bookcase was one of those items. You can try to haggle but this is a consignment store so they are limited in how much they can adjust the price. They offer both pick-up and delivery. I believe that delivery was $89 per hour so it will vary depending on your item, address, building set-up, etc. The delivery guys were great. I wish they had wrapped the piece since it got a minor chip in transit but I was able to fix it. Not the guys' fault as it was a beast to move and didn't fit in the elevator. Easy parking in a large lot.

If you have this card, it can be used at other participating retailers. I happened to have one for Mattress Firm. Lovesac can search for your info if you don't have the physical card. I haven't used mine in 4 years but kept it open. Anyway, this Lovesac is their newest location. We didn't want to drive to Rice Village since this was so close to us. There was a couple looking at the sacs, and Tori greeted us. She let us explore and look around. I didn't feel pressured to purchase. Tori informed us that today was the last day for their promotion. She assisted my friend in configuring the perfect sactional for her. We got to feel their seat inserts - lovesoft and firm. The lovesoft felt perfect to me. I didn't sink in. It felt like a soft/medium. The firm with the straight back was too firm and stiff, but the insert paired with an angled pillow felt better. My friend chose this one. You'll like this if you prefer firm. We got to play around with the wooden blocks for configuration options. I liked the deep set, but it feels like you're lying in bed with your legs straight out. I wouldn't have minded it, but with my small frame, I looked like I was getting lost in a giant chair. Lol. Their coolest option was the surround sound with haptics and a charger for your phone on the arm rest. Everything is controlled through Bluetooth, and you can change the bass and other sound features or turn off the sound on one side of the couch. Tori let us take our time looking at swatches, showing us how to change the covers, and how to configure. The pieces are about 35 lbs. She warned us that the connectors that lock it in place might be stiff at first and may require more force to lock. I love that the cushions have Velcro to hold them in place. If you have young kids or pets, the covers are machine washable. You can buy as many covers to switch out your color preference any time. They also sell the drink holders and ottoman table top that can be great as an alternative to a coffee table. You can also add a bedding set and storage in the sactional for extra bedding, throws and blankets, or kids toys. I was curious to see what my quote would be with the configuration I wanted, and Tori was able to give me an idea of what it would cost with the discount. I had thought about doing a lighter couch before, but again, I wasn't actively looking. I caved in. Shipping is via FedEx, and it takes 1-2 weeks for delivery. I'm excited! Now I need to sell my sleeper sofa pronto!! Tori, Rhee, and Coco provided excellent customer service! This MKT location is worth a visit if you're considering a new couch/sectional. Btw, Lovesac offers a Heroes Program, which is a 5% discount for military personnel, first responders, healthcare workers, teachers, and veterinary professionals!
