Unfortunately, the experience we expected from this boat tour did not occur. Our tour was scheduled to depart at 3:00 PM; however, our captain and tour guide arrived late, which is documented through text messages. In addition, severe weather conditions developed, including heavy rain, thunderstorms, and lightning. Due to these unsafe conditions, we did not feel comfortable proceeding with the tour and communicated our concerns to both crew member Alexia and Captain Jason. Alexia stated that they do not typically operate the barge in weather conditions such as these. She also contacted her manager, Conner, who initially offered us the option to reschedule for a later time or another day. We explained that this was not a reasonable solution, as we were visiting Houston from out of state and would not be able to return at a later date. After spending approximately an hour and a half discussing the situation and expressing our safety concerns, Manager Conner ultimately provided us with a gift card instead of issuing a refund. Throughout these discussions, certain statements regarding a refund were made and later retracted. Because we do not live in Houston and are unlikely to return in the foreseeable future, the gift card holds no value to us. We are respectfully requesting a full refund to the original payment method for a service that we were unable to use due to unsafe weather conditions. We believe this is a fair and reasonable resolution, particularly because rescheduling was not a practical option for out-of-state visitors. Additionally, we have substantial evidence documenting the events that occurred, including communications regarding the delay, the hour and a half spent attempting to resolve the matter during what was intended to be a celebration for a bride-to-be, and evidence showing that staff members viewed and interacted with our social media accounts following this incident in a manner that we believe was inappropriate and concerning. This was my first experience on a pedal barge and I had a great time! We did the public tour with other groups celebrating their birthdays so the vibe was on 10. Captain Don and his assistant (so sorry I forgot her name) were informative and ensured we had a great time from departure to return. They allowed us to play our music, drink our drink, and turn up the way we wanted to. The tour is affordable, and the scenery around Clearlake is beautiful. 10/10 highly recommend. read more

Seriously the most fun I have had in a long time. My friends and I celebrated a friends birthday and it was the perfect setup. We were allowed to board a few minutes early so we could decorate. The captain was very nice and allowed us to play our music through the boat speakers. The scenery was AMAZING and so relaxing. There was enough room for us to have our food and other items set up and the ride was just long enough. I would recommend this ride to anyone for any reason. I can honestly say if you are looking for a great time with family & friends outside of Houston , this is the place to go !!!!! Captain Tom & Shay were AMAZING . They accommodated us in every way possible . Once on the boat you allowed to bluetooth your phone so that was a great plus as well as BYOB & food (they have coolers on the boat if you don't have one ) !!! With 26 people we were able to rent the whole thing for $38 a person so it's very affordable!!!! I honestly can't wait to go back !!!! read more

The waters were a bit choppy but that didn't stop the fun at all. They provided everything needed for a party, coolers, ice, cups. A good amount of room to move about. Have your playlist ready because the ship's speakers are great! Parking at the pier was also pretty easy! I also appreciated that before your set time, the crew meticulously cleans the boat! I rented out the pedal party boat for my birthday last weekend 8/6/22. Everyone had a blast. I had the bomb playlist and we kept the boat rocking. It was a good time. Nice weather. Other boats on the water. Cool Captain and co-captain. I would highly recommend. Only thing I would suggest is they have a microphone for use by them to make announcements and for the party guests.
