I dropped my phone and reached out to a few businesses immediately because of an upcoming trip - I thought I was in luck because not only did I find a repair company, they were mobile! The gentleman arrived, fixed the lens and mentioned that there would be glue that I'd need to clean off after 3 or so hours. 3 hours turns into a week with the glue not wiping off AND the camera constantly having a blur/smudge look to the pictures. I contacted the company and was informed someone would be sent to repair it. After reaching out multiple times (and having the times unprofessionally changed multiple times) he finally arrived back at our home to basically say that it's not the lens but it's the camera that cracked (although he made no mention of this and I had shared picture quality after he fixed it). The gentleman then goes on to say "well you can go to Apple and pay $300" and "I'll send you $30" back when I definitely paid more than that. Received a quote through yelp and went ahead to schedule an appointment with Phone Doctors to fix my Oneplus 6T screen. The technician arrived at my workplace and I set him up in a cubicle to have my phone repaired while I was at work which was convenient. After the initial installation, the technician showed me my phone screen and the color of the phone screen had a green tint to it. I had told him that is not how the original color of the phone was and he left with my phone to get a replacement LCD screen since he said the one he brought was a defect. A little skeptical that the technician left with my phone but he ended up returning with a new LCD and completed the repair. Upon completion I saw some exterior damages to the outer edges of my phone and I told him. He said it was just the adhesive glue and it should come off. Obviously enough, after couple of days it did not come off and looked to be a permanent damage. My LCD didn't feel like the original, felt as if the screen was only half way in the frame and half sticking out. Then about a week later, the whole screen completely stopped working and greyed out. I reached out to Mohammad, the owner, and he was only willing to refund me $30 out of the $160 I paid. I am very unhappy with the final product and service, had to completely get rid of my phone and get a new one. I do understand that my phone Oneplus is not a common brand but I had wish they would've told me they could not fix it versus attempting and ruining my phone.
