Tried to get a liquid metal replacement and cleaning on a overheating PlayStation 5, employee said it would take 2-5 business days. After a week I called for an update and was told they were still waiting for the liquid metal shipment to arrive at the store. Another week and another call later they said the same thing with no hard date about when it would be there, saying it'd be another week or two. Possibly a month long wait for a repair when I was quoted 5 days, if the shipment truly takes that long I should be informed of this the day I came to drop it off, or it should've been reflected in the initial quote. I asked if the console had at least been cleaned and was told yes. I then decided to just pick the console up and get the liquid metal replacement done elsewhere. When I came to the store, it appeared as though the outside shell of the console had been wiped down with a rag or something, while the inside of the console was very clearly still dirty. The employee than graciously decided to not charge me for the "cleaning". 2 weeks later, and I was in the exact same spot as I was when I walked into the store for the first time and was told the wait was 2-5 days, rough. The other place I went to get it also charged less for both services and got both done the same day, if you're looking for console repair id look elsewhere than here. read more

Absolutely terrible experience at this location. I paid $65 for a simple laptop diagnostic, and they kept my device for over a week with zero updates. When I finally called to check the status, I was told they "couldn't solder," meaning they were never capable of performing the repair in the first place. When I went to pick up my laptop, the employee actually asked if they had repaired it so he could charge me more -- even though they had already admitted they couldn't fix it. That tells you everything about the professionalism here. No transparency, no communication, and no value for the customer's time. I ended up with a wasted week, a wasted diagnostic fee, and the same broken laptop I started with. Save yourself the frustration -- go somewhere else. read more

Paid for a fix that didn't work. They will say this it's a common issue but unfortunately we weren't informed of this common issue prior to agreeing to have our phone fixed. Now it's completely unusable and they refuse to refund the amount we paid. What a waste. Save your money and go directly to Apple. Oh and at the very least, if they "fix" your phone and it's not fixed and in fact doesn't work at all, I would think that as a best practice they would refund the amount paid. read more

They replaced my wife's cracked screen, but couldn't get her home button to work. They spent a lot of time doing what they could and even gave me an original Apple screen at the third-party price. I had the Asurion home+ warranty which is awesome if you haven't heard of it ... covers just about everything and you can take most things to one of these locations for repairs. So that's what I did - set up the repair online. Went in to drop it off. They had all the details already in their system so I just had to confirm a few details and drop off was super easy. When it was ready I got an email and a text. The text said you could respond to it but it didn't seem to be monitored because I did try to reply to ask how late they were open. But did go in to pick it up a few days later. They were super nice and again it was super easy he looked me up, got my device and emailed a receipt. The work had a one year warranty so that's cool. Or I think that's what he said. Anywya all super easy and nice. I had this warranty plan for over a year at $27 a month and never used it but now that I know how easy and fast and stuff I am so excited. My daughters iPad had a crack in it. It worked PERFECTLY fine but we knew we needed to replace the screen so we looked up reviews and saw this place. 4.9 stars. And close to us. So we decided to come here. Dropped off the iPad and waited 4 hours and it was done. We were happy.... TILL we noticed the touch screen on the iPad wasn't working.... so we brought it back and they took a look at it and they called us to tell us "something with the chip is broken" what ever that means... I was so confused because this iPad is not only still brand new but my daughter doesn't drop it. She takes good care of it and I do as well. So they couldn't help us anymore. And this place said "we can do insurance to repair it in 30 days" UMM WHAT?!?? NO! THEY BROKE THE IPAD ANS WANT ME TO PAY TO FIX IT?!? My iPhone 7 stopped charging. Troubleshooting on the Apple website recommended I take it to a store, first appointment it offered that wasn't in the middle of the day during the work week was 6 days later, a Best Buy Geek Squad. I went in, without looking at the phone, the woman told me all they could do was send the phone away and give me a replacement unit for $319. I told her to kick rocks, on the way home called ubreakiFix, Tom answered, quoted me $79 and said he could fix it in an hour. I got there, he first cleaned out the charging port to see if that would fix the problem, which he said would be free if it worked. It didn't, so he took the phone, I came back an hour later and as I was walking in he was walking out carrying my phone. He also mentioned that it was charging slowly and the maximum charge capacity was only at 84%. He recommended I get it replaced soon. No hard sell, but mentioned if I chose to do it then, it would be half off since it was done at the same time as another repair, and he could do it in 5 to 10 minutes, so I said sure.
