Wonderful, elevated dinning experience. All of the food was fantastic. Perfectly cooked. Drinks were delicious as well. We ate multiple courses. The service was quick and very nice. Family style and shareable bites. We had to order slot for 6 people but it was great. Thebsteak tartar was phenomenal. The scallops were also great. Cannoli and cauliflower were also delicious.

We went for Seattle Restaurant Week, and it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish! The restaurant had that perfect cozy autumn vibe -- warm lighting, soft music, and a charming Queen Anne street view through the window. Starters: Kale Salad - Fresh and bright, with pistachio and cheese adding great texture. Burrata - So creamy and rich, perfectly paired with citrus and hazelnut for a refreshing twist. Hamachi Crudo - Light, citrusy, with just a hint of heat -- really well balanced. Asparagus - Loved the honey yogurt sauce and crispy shallots; such a creative combo. Mains: Ravioli - Pumpkin-filled and beautifully seasoned; it tasted like fall on a plate. Gnocchi - Crispy outside, soft inside, served with a flavorful beef ragu -- absolutely delicious. Pork Chop - Juicy and tender, with pumpkin purée and roasted apples for the perfect savory-sweet balance. Black Cod - Delicate and buttery, paired with lentils and cauliflower -- rich and satisfying. Dessert: Salted Caramel Gelato & Cannoli - one cold, one crispy -- a perfect ending. The food was outstanding, the service warm and professional, and the atmosphere couldn't be cozier. A fantastic Seattle Restaurant Week spot -- I'd definitely come back again!

How to Cook A Wolf sounded like an amazing restaurant a when I was researching restaurants. Our dining experience wasn't what we expected. Starting off on a positive note - the host and server were very friendly and welcoming. We were a bit early for our reservation, but were seated immediately. Kale salad - this was perhaps the star of our meal! The kale was cut perfectly and the salad tasted fresh. There were toasted pistachios and roasted beets, which made the salad delicious. Grade: A+ Fresh Bread ($14). We were a bit taken back at the price for bread, but I get it. There were four slices of bread served with a seasoned butter and a balsamic olive oil roasted garlic spread. The grilled bread was delicious! Grade: A- Steak Tartare. One of my favorite dishes to order, but sorry this was a miss. The dish tasted like minced meat with olive oil and salt. It lacked flavor. The color of the meat was an unappetizing dull pink. Grade: C- Clam Cavatelli Pasta. Sorry but this dish was a miss the pasta was undercooked (beyond Al dente). The pasta was fresh, but hard to eat. There was no flavor in the sauce. Overall not a favorite. I ate about 1/3 of the dish and stopped. Grade: C- Automatic 22% gratuity added for every bill.

Came here for Seattle restaurant week to get their $65 3 course dinner meal. It included appetizer entrée and a dessert. I think overall I was OK. I highly enjoyed all the appetizers, especially the tuna Crudo and and the burrata cheese. These are the ones I highly recommend if you're trying to get an appetizer the tuna was fresh, and I liked the refreshing tangy ness. The cheese was fresh and paired well with all the other things. I think the New York steak was also pretty good. It was cooked well but overall, I felt like there wasn't really anything super special about this place. It was just an OK meal. The service here is also a bit slow but great atmosphere, and I like the aesthetics of the restaurant .

The food here was very tasty, especially the appetizers. The drinks were also well balanced and unique without being too out there. Our server was super helpful with recommendations and very attentive. We were able to snag a table outside without a res on a Friday but their patio is heated and covered so it was actually quite nice despite the wind. You're pretty secluded in the big booths. It's definitely a pricier meal but I'd definitely come back for a special occasion.

Celebrated our anniversary at this fabulous restaurant. The food was amazing and the service was wonderful. Best meal we had in Seattle. Please open a location in New Jersey!

What a lovely Mother's Day brunch! We chose Burrata and Asparagus for our first courses, and they were delicious! Perfectly cooked asparagus with a tasty sauce and guanciale that we fought over. Then we both had Eggs Benedict with crab, because crab! Big lumps, perfectly poached and drained eggs and just the right amount of hollandaise. Didn't notice any goat cheese but it didn't matter. Roasted potatoes came with it, delicious. Finally Cannoli for dessert! They were perfect and so good. I also really like the cappuccino here, as its true cappuccino, not watered down with a lot of milk.

My husband reserved a table for our date night while visiting Seattle. Everything about the experience was exquisite - the service, the ambiance, and the delicious food. I loved seeing the food and cocktails prepared in the open concept kitchen. I also truly enjoyed all of the dishes we had - from the refreshing burrata and panzanela with seasonally fresh and delicious produce, to the bolognese with fresh made pasta. I also loved the cocktail and wine selection to pair with our food. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a delicious meal

Such a cool atmosphere, good food, and interesting drinks. This is a great spot to come share stuff with friends. Here's everything we ordered with ratings 1. Sea Wolf Sourdough : 8/10, this came with a honey butter and garlic confit in balsamic and olive oil, so good but could've used some flakey salt 2. Steak Tartare : 6/10, this wasn't bad it was just super salty and wish it came with a different cracker or a crostini or something 3. Bucatini : 7/10, I'm someone who doesn't prefer al dente buttttt this was still tasty just could've used a little bit more flavor in my opinion 4. Affogato : 7.5/10, you can't go wrong with vanilla ice cream/gelato and coffee! Usually not my go to dessert but always good!

First time here. The service was good. Very cute inside. However I ordered bubby rose and it came flat the sever got me a new one so that was great The food was Amazing... the reason I gave it 3 stars was the wait times. 35 min for one pasta dish is unacceptable. Very disappointing.

For the price point this was not worth it in my opinion. The best thing we got was the bread basket (the butter was really good). The pastas were super al dente, almost felt undercooked. In addition, everything required more salt. We also got seated at 6:45 and the main course did not come out till 7:50. Although we got drinks and some apps, the break between that and the main course coming out was so long we got so hungry! I wouldn't recommend this spot, there are better places for this price point. The food wasn't awful though - but not worth the price

Fun dining experience with work colleagues in the Queen Anne neighborhood. We ordered a bunch of things to share, and the start of the night was the pasta. There were so many delicious dishes ranging from the kale caesar salad, a raw fish dish (can't remember if it was hamachi crudo), scallops, garlic bread, bucatini, tagliatelle (chef's kiss), and bistecca. Most underwhelming dish that night was the bistecca - while it was cooked to perfection, it was very underseasoned. But that's okay given how flavorful everything else was. We all had fresh cannolis to end the night and they were the perfect sweet touch to the end of a savory night! Would highly recommend for an exquisite meal in the area.

    Bruschetta
    Steve A.

The menu doesn't adequately convey the complexity of the food here. We had an outstanding meal in this cozy Queen Anne restaurant. Simple dishes like sourdough bread come alive with spreads featuring fennel or roasted garlic and balsamic. The "bruschetta" is actually crostinia spread with smoked fish dip. And, most stunning of all, a pappardelle was infused with orange zest, mint, and chili oil. Truly the best pasta dish I've ever had. Service by Martin was stellar. He was a great host, waiter, and informant about all of the dishes. The bar is turning out great cocktails, while the wine list leans more toward austere whites and international reds. While compact, the dining area is not overly noisy. Definitely exceeded our expectations.

Absolutely delicious. Hearty chunks of sausage had a great flavor, with a wide variety of mushrooms. The sauce was creamy with a light kick. Thé sprout garnish provided just the right textural difference and freshness. Fantastic dish. I'd order this every time and not be disappointed. The wine was good. I selected a newly arrived Sauvignon blanc, but it could have been colder or crisper to do it justice. Thé grappa afterwards (bartenders choice - Nardini Riserva) was delicious. Just the right amount of strength to get your attention, but finished with a hint of pear and vanilla flavor. Yes, you could consider this to be oricy for "just noodles" but they're phenomenal. The quality and freshness of the ingredients, combined with the attention to detail and the great team are what makes this five stars. Worth every dime.

The hostess was sweet and honestly the most helpful person we interacted with. Unfortunately, our waitress came across as pretty condescending anytime we asked questions. For example, when we asked what came on the charcuterie board, she explained it was "a variety of meats, cheeses, and dried fruits." When we tried to clarify and asked what specifically was included, she responded with, "Again... meats, cheeses, and dried fruits." It felt unnecessarily dismissive. After ordering food, I ordered a cocktail but later realized it came from a can, so I politely walked up to ask if I could change my drink order. Instead of quietly handling it, she yelled across the restaurant to the bartender to cancel the espresso martini. The restaurant wasn't loud, so it just felt awkward and uncomfortable. When the food arrived, it was simply dropped off with no explanation. The small plates were hidden under oversized napkins, and when my friend asked if we could get small plates, the waitress pointed and said, "They're right there." There were three of us and only two plates, so we had to ask again anyway. Then when our drinks came out, she held the tray out and told us to "grab your drinks" instead of setting them down herself. She didn't say it rudely, but it felt odd from a service standpoint. To be fair, the food and drinks themselves were good. That's what makes this more disappointing because the place really could be great with better hospitality and attention to service. As we were leaving, who I assume was a manager was standing at the bar on a laptop and said "thank you" without looking up or making eye contact. She looked visibly annoyed. Maybe she noticed the gratuity was lower than expected, but gratuity is earned. I'm not someone who expects over-the-top service, but this experience didn't even meet the basics.

It definitely piqued my interest and was duly bookmarked. I had an opportunity to check it out with fellow Yelp Elite/IGer, Carol C (3/18/26). I was able to get a last minute reservation confirmed via email. Both of us were able to get zoned street parking along N 45th. This restaurant is also accessible via Metro. We were seated by Tim, the owner, at a two top by the front entrance. He was very welcoming, personable, and charming. An aside, read the background info about how the restaurant came to be from their website and additional cool details about the owner, restaurateur, and author. The interior transformation was pleasant vibe. There were other tables aligned along one wall. The remaining seating were along a banquette. There's also limited seating at the bar towards the back. Great ambiance, however, it does get rather loud once the restaurant fills up, just saying. Wine, of course, is available by the glass or bottle. There are other beverages like beer and NA choices, but no tea/coffee service. Happy hour specials are also available. Tim provided us the low down on the featured daily specials and gave us enough time to peruse the menu. It's one of those menus that had so many pleasing options. We split the Piatto Misto which was a great way to sample various app offerings including fresh burrata, an Italian meatball, sliced prosciutto & other Italian meats, and two bruschettas - tomato and mushroom. We both agreed that the meatball was the standout. Carol chose the Pasta del Giorno which featured farfalle with mushrooms, broccolini, in a cream sauce with added Italian sausage. I selected the Pasta Salsiccia which had linguine with Italian sausage, mushrooms, red pepper flakes, in a tomato cream sauce. Both pasta mains were rich and generous, that the both of us took home halves of our respective entrees to save room for dessert. For dessert, I went with my fave tiramisu and Carol had the chocolate mousse. Tiramisu was delicious that I cleaned out my serving glass. It was definitely an enjoyable experience and were onsite for nearly 2.5 hours. Well attended to and not rushed. With how costly it can get dining out in Seattle, it's a great to find a place that is easy going, has great variety, and reasonably priced. Recommended for an approachable, quality dining experience. Grazie mille, Tim!

I ordered the Barbabietole salad (super refreshing and light), Gnocchi alla Gorgonzola (a little bit heavy and very cheesy because of the gorgonzola), Pasta Salsiccia (more of a classic red sauce pasta), and the dish of the day which was a ribeye steal (veryy delish). The dishes are sharable portions and paired well with wine. I'd recommend trying this place out!

We were allowed to choose our own or the hostess would select for us. The space is absolutely adorable and the staff has the attitudes to match - they were very friendly. For the pop up, there's a list of sparkling wine and champagne from other wineries to try but you can also have some of the staples from Aluel. It's such a cute spot I will definitely be back.

I've walked by it many times only to realize 'wow there is a wine room right here!' After meeting a friend here, I settled on one the flights I tasted the - Aluel Signature Flight - '19 Sparkling, '18 Malbec, '18 Regalia, '17 Coat of Arms. my favorite being the Malbec and Coat of arms, which is a red blend and an award winner, along with many of the others on their menu. For bites we got the - pita and hummus plate which just alright at $9. Perhaps we should've sprang for the cheese plate for a bit more at $15. Aluel is a nice place to sample some wines right in the middle of a neighborhood without need to go far. Check it out!

Don't miss this utterly charming and unprentious wine tasting shop complete with blue checkered table cloths covering the outdoor tables. Their charcuterie (two cheeses and one meat) $19 is available alongside almonds $5 and candied pecans $5. We enhanced our board with a delicious can of lemon pepper smoked oysters by Ekone ("from tide to tin") $13. Highly recommend this he has Rustic Bakery flatbread. They have wine by the glass -- we tasted the Clos Du Mont-Olivet 2022 Lirac $15/glass as well as the Henrich Naked Orange (calcareous and natural biodynamic) $15/glass and the Champagne Jacquart "Mosaïque" Rosé $20/glass. We decided on a bottle of the Lirac and a glass of rosé champagne. They also carry local jcoco chocolates chips as well as tinned mackerel, tuna, codfish. The buyer is exceptionally talented. The curated collection of bottles could go up against the better bottle shops in Seattle -- but with a nonchalant aplomb rich with elegant ease shifting gears between bottles of internationally renowned Bollinger $68 and hyper local The Orcas Project 2024 Garnacha $37 or 2025 Nebbiolo $35 or 3 of 6 allocated Chartogne-Talley Saint Anne extra brut for $98. Favorite part? The staff's educational notes about the wines, how they were made, and tasting notes that holds the greatest value of all. So make some time to peruse and enjoy the learning before or while tasting. Exceptional value and deserving of best of neighbor recognition. Mariah serves as a welcoming hostess.

The host was super friendly and did a great job explaining each wine. I loved most of the wines we tasted, but especially the white ones. Very crisp and clean.
