A nice hidden gem, tucked in between businesses and residential. Worth trying out for their good coffee and food items. The service was excellent and attentive, and also, social in the best way. I enjoyed a refreshing Bloody Mary and my friend got an iced latte. I went with the biscuits and chorizo gravy, my friend had the breakfast skillet (wish I got a picture). Overall, a good experience and a fulfilling meal.

I went to get brunch on a Saturday. We made a reservation the day before - it was easy since there were a lot of spots to choose from. There seemed to be available seats for walk-ins when we were there too. I had the pancake and my friend had the eggs Benedict. Pancake was very fluffy and the presentation was really nice. The pancake tasted just ok honestly, but I liked the berry compote on top of the pancake. I also had the iced latte, which went really well with the pancake. I had some of my friend's eggs Benedict too, but I think they overcooked it.

Great spot with really nice ambience! The food came out at a good pace and every dish tasted amazing! I really enjoyed the hamachi crudo with the additions of the pepper for heat and fruit for sweetness. Service was great and the server explained the menu really well.

Single Shot was a great experience! We called last minute to ask about outdoor seating for two and a small dog, and the staff member who answered was very friendly and let us know they were busy, but that he had a table currently open he could hold for us. They don't have dedicated parking, but there was plenty of street parking in the area. The outdoor seating was very cute, covered, and great for people watching. The asparagus and cauliflower appetizers were amazing, as was the salmon dish. Our server was very attentive. The tiramisu had cocoa nibs instead of powder which was not my favorite twist, but that's the only critique I could reach for.

Had the pleasure of dining at Single Shot last night with a group. Ambiance was warm and cozy as mentioned in other reviews. Parking is challenging as you'd expect on Capital Hill, Lyft or Uber is a good idea. We sampled many things on the menu, gnocchi, roasted cauliflower, and pork chops were stand outs. Note the menu seems to change regularly so it looks like you can come here often and never get bored. We ordered 1 of every dessert, all were amazing (lemon tart, tiramisu, strawberry shortcake and a chocolate dessert).

We really enjoyed this spot in Capitol Hill! It was a quick walk from the light rail station. We sat outside and the vibes were lovely. We had a cute spot right on the patio. Our drinks were delicious and unique. The bread with the miso ricotta and honey butter was out of this world! We all really enjoyed the flatbread too. Service was great, and he gave good suggestions on the menu. I'd definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys a delicious meal in a lively neighborhood.

This is a cute little cafe in Capital Hill. Parking is kind of a pain in that area, but I was able to find street parking a block away. We came in right at 10am, it was very cold in there, although we did sit by the window. I imagine they keep the heat down overnight and we were there first thing in the morning. I ordered a cappuccino and the salmon lox. The espresso is very good, I'm not sure where they get their coffee, but I enjoyed it! I was also very impressed by their salmon lox! I am somewhat of a connoisseur for this meal, I order it at every restaurant, and this was top tier! Goat cheese, capers, egg, arugula, all hit perfectly as well as some aioli. I would rate it the best salmon lox I've had in Seattle. 5 stars! The service was also great, our server was polite, attentive, and was able to cater to some minor requests. I would 100% recommend this brunch spot to an anyone in the area.

The food here was pretty tasty! The portion sizes were a little small for the price, and the service was very slow. We had made a reservation but still had to wait for about 20 minutes until we were seated. Then, they only had one waitress for the whole restaurant so it took a while to get our order in and get our food. With that said, the food is good, but for the overall experience, I'd go elsewhere.

Wonderful food and service We came here for a birthday dinner. The kale salad, focaccia bread, and hamachi crudo appetizers were delicious. I got the agnolotti but wish I got the gnocchi since I tried that too and liked it better. The guys got pork chops and enjoyed that. All the drinks we tried were delicious. I can't believe I hadn't been here sooner!

I was recommended this spot for brunch and it was pretty good! The inside is elegant and cozy, and definitely a nice spot to take others. We made a reservation ahead of time which seemed like a good idea, as it was quite busy inside. Upon being seated we were asked numerous times if we would order drinks, and when we politely declined the waitress didn't really seem to like that. Nonetheless, we ordered our main entrees - I got the eggs benedict, which seemed to have high praise. The food came our relatively quickly, and was presented beautifully! I did enjoy the benedict - the egg was slightly runny, the hollandaise was good, and I loved the proscuitto. They used bread instead of the classic english muffin, but I think I liked this more. The potatoes were also good but nothing special - I felt like I could taste each individual seasoning and just make it myself. For the cost I never think brunch food is that worth it, but this was pretty good. I'm not sure if I'd be back often, but still a good experience.

Really small, cute, and tidy aesthetics. Really great, inventive food. The roasted cauliflower is spendy, but I guarantee it will be the best you've ever had! Fantastic cocktails, limited beer selection. Only flaw is that service is pretty pokey. We sat at the bar and were the only people there, the whole place was closing down and...they still were not giving us our tab. It reminded me of being in Italy where you sometimes have to beg and plead to get your tab.

Food - the food was good but they didn't have too many vegetarian options that I would keep coming back for. The OJ was awesome and the pancake is HUGE. We probably both could have split it. The avocado toast on the other hand was not much of an entree compared to the pancake so it worked out. Service - they were super super busy and overrun. We were seated at the bar and we could see how hard the bartenders and servers were working and hustling about. They were working very hard and trying to be attentive though and they checked in enough. Ambiance - it's a bit too cozy and cramped for my preference but it's a cute little neighborhood brunch spot! Would recommend overall but probably wouldn't come back as a vegetarian personally.

    Chef's flatbread

everything was great! The staff, ambiance, & food. Table favorite was the beet salad. We also enjoyed the barata, gnocchi, chefs flatbread & the grass fed New York strip steak. Will be coming back.

The whole space has this intimate, luxurious atmosphere that makes the experience feel special the moment you walk in. We tried the Japanese Breakfast, which is a savory cocktail and such a pleasant surprise. It genuinely has miso soup notes. It's very unique and creative. I also had El Boho (flavorful but not overly sweet). The staff are always friendly and very knowledgeable when it comes to recommending drinks. The prices are on the higher end, but personally I think they're totally worth it for the creativity and overall experience. This is the spot I bring all my out-of-town friends to because the ambiance, vibes, and drinks are just that good. Truly one of Seattle's gems.

The space is elegant, unique, and lives up to the photos. I also want to recognize the manager, who was polite, professional, and kindly explained that reservations were required. I completely understand and respect that policy. Unfortunately, my interaction with the bartender before speaking with the manager was the complete opposite. As I tried to get her attention, I felt like she repeatedly looked at me with annoyance and made me feel unwelcome. Rather than simply explaining the reservation policy herself, she went to get the manager instead. She had a problem with Hispanics. She refused to engaged at all. The way I was treated left me feeling uncomfortable and embarrassed, especially as someone who was genuinely excited to visit. A beautiful venue can only go so far when the hospitality doesn't match. I would have happily accepted that reservations were required if I had simply been treated with basic kindness and respect from the start. I truly hope this was an isolated incident because the location itself is stunning, and the manager handled the situation professionally. Unfortunately, because of my interaction with the bartender I've added in the photos, I don't see myself returning. Sadly they have a Prejudice bartender.

Parking can be a wee bit tricky so waking, ride share, or public transit will be your best options. But if you have to drive we found a paid lot a few blocks away While this wasn't the best tiki bar we've ever been to, it did stand out for the presentation of drinks, the cool (and massive) octopus, the immersion, and overall vibe is nice and atmospheric They have four non-alcoholic options which I really appreciated as the one driving for the night! They also have standard as well as unique takes on tiki drinks. We were surprised to find so many options with vodka and tequila which isn't common in a more traditional tiki bar We had the: - "Kiki Premier Mai Tai" which wasn't as rum forward as we would have thought, especially given how many rums it had in it; but overall it was a classic style Mai Tai and tasty with quality rums - "One Eyed Willy" which has a fun presentation in a chest with smoking dry ice. This one you could taste the rum more and overall it was a really enjoyable drink and experience - "See A Light" which is a non-alcoholic option and the taste was just as good as the presentation. Came in a lovely angler fish tiki mug with the light and everything! The taste was complex and something that thought went into creating - "Four Boys" another non-alcoholic option that was the coolest visual as it came in a "steaming" crock pot. The taste was very unexpected, in a good way, and is a drink I would get again Overall the drinks were about a 4/5 but with the charming atmosphere and whimsical presentation it's a 5 star experience that is just fun

This is a speakeasy inside Rumba, I did not know that going in. It's incredibly cool to walk into the bar. The decor is amazing. It's super small though with a few tables and bar seating. It was kinda loud when I was there since most tables were filled. My server was nice as well and was able to answer all my questions. Ambiance was exceptional and is such a cool place to visit. Most of the cocktails came with fancy show of some sort and were extravagant - and equally delicious. I got The Inside Passage, but there were at least three others I was trying to chose from. There was a lot of thought that went into the presentation of each of the drinks and I love that attention to detail. Since it was around dinner time I did want to order food and drink. They did not have the Kikisoba (they ran out) and that made me sad, but I was able to order the Rumba sliders and a basket of fries. I'm not a huge sliders fan, and I did order the caramelized pineapple on the side. The sliders were incredibly flavorful and the perfect size. For anyone wanting to visit Seattle, I do highly recommend this place. It's a really cool vibe and the food is really good too.
