The name alone was worth the stop! Sister bar to the pink shark. Staff was really nice, beer was cold and the decor was great!

Conveniently located in the heart of downtown, just steps away from Pinkerton's Barbecue and Legacy Park, Bar 321 has become a go-to destination for soccer fans, locals, and visitors alike. The first thing you'll notice is how clean and inviting the space is. In a city full of bars, 321 stands out as one of the cleanest and best smelling establishments around. The atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming, and built for having a good time. The drink menu delivers with cold beer, creative cocktails, and happy hour specials that make it easy to settle in for the entire matchday experience. Arrive early and challenge your friends to a game of pool, throw a few rounds of darts, or test your skills on the Pop-A-Shot before kickoff. And if halftime gets a little tense, there's plenty to keep the energy high between whistles. When it comes to the World Cup experience, Bar 321 gets it right. Every U.S. Men's National Team match is shown on the big screens with sound throughout the venue, creating the kind of atmosphere soccer supporters crave. No struggling to hear commentary over a jukebox this place understands the importance of matchday. Adding to the authentic football culture is the presence of Barra 76 San Antonio, the local grassroots supporters group that proudly calls Bar 321 home. Whether you're a lifelong supporter or just looking for a lively place to enjoy the World Cup, Bar Three Twenty One offers cold drinks, great prices, a welcoming crowd, and an atmosphere built for soccer. World Cup. Cold Beer. Big Screens. American Outlaws? Maybe. But in San Antonio, this is Barra 76 territory. Sangre Lo Que Sea, Corazón Americano.

I'm visiting from out of town and I wasn't sure where to go to watch a boxing match. Thank goodness I came across Bar three twenty one! Plenty of seating and lucky for me it was not a busy night. Plenty of TV's including a huge (maybe 75 inch) in the middle. Not a bad seat in the entire bar. They have a full bar, my drunk was just ok, BUT I probably should have stuck with something more basic (I had a Henny sour). Definitely a good spot with a few arcades and a pool table. Check it out!

Update to first review below, rating updated from a 3 to a 5 star (drinks & bartender would get 10+…read morestars if we could rate that high): Saturday night: Went back for after dinner drinks at the Downstairs (a "speakeasy" throwback, look up the history of the place to see why). Drinks were AMAZING! Bartender Rob made the best Negroni I've ever had. I asked him to use whatever gin he thought best--result was an artistic smooooooth full-bodied drink. Told him when I was done I'd lick the glass if it wasn't considered so uncouth for a 'mature' lady like myself to do so Hubby's Buffalo Trace bourbon old fashioned was also outstanding. Rob was the bartender last night who did such a great job, and his work was even better tonight. We highly recommend The EsquireTavern for excellent cocktails. We love the long wood bar and high copper ceiling upstairs, but love the intimate speakeasy atmosphere downstairs even more. We'll definitely be back every time we're in San Antonio! First review, Friday night: Drinks were great (Manhattan and Bourbon Old Fashioned). REAL drinks, no complaints at all about those. And the bartenders were very friendly and helpful. Those aspects of the Esquire get 5+ stars from us. But the appetizers were not good, close to inedible. It was about 8:30pm or so, so maybe they were getting ready to close out the kitchen but the chalupitas with chicken tasted like rubber, and no flavor at all. The seafood platter had something in it that was breading with shell inside, but no meat of any kind. We couldn't figure out what it was supposed to be. The shrimp was good and the fish was good but those other things... We'll always love the drinks, the long wooden bar, and the ambiance at the Esquire Tavern, but we'll eat somewhere else and come here for before or after dinner drinks. (See update above to this review for when we returned the next night for after dinner drinks.)

If you'd like to find a place where you can kick back, have a little drink, maybe watch a game,…read morethis place is NOT it, ESPECIALLY if you're a Black person. My first and LAST experience at McFly's left a lot to be desired. There was very little seating available during the NBA finals, which I guess is to be expected, but when I did find seating, a very rude Mexican girl slid onto the seat next to me and attempted to make more rooms for her friends to sit down. When my friend came in, we decided to move to another table to avoid any issues. Shortly after this, a Mexican male came over and purposely blocked our view of the game, and when my friend POLITELY asked if he could move over some, she was told that it was her problem that she couldn't see the television. RUDE, MUCH? Then, another male came over and inserted himself into the discussion. A 'security guard' came over and attempted to 'quiet' things, but he was clearly taking the male's side on this issue. The 'security guard' proceeded to tell me that he was told that the Black female was the aggressor. WOWWW!!! WHY do Black people have to be the aggressors in situations??? These two Mexican males were clearly with the group from earlier, and decided to disrupt the time we were trying to spend watching the game. This is one of the WORST establishments I've ever experienced, EVER. If you're a Black person living in or visiting San Antonio, stay FAR away from McFly's!!! Save your money and find another establishment to go to! One that doesn't make Black people feel unwelcomed!
