I bought a used A.R.E. cap and needed some parts to fix her up…read more Unfortunately, A.R.E. doesn't sell direct, and the quotes I got for parts and install were significant from an A.R.E. dealer. I scoured the internet and somehow found Heavy Haulers website. A bit overwhelmed with wether the part numbers would match my year and model, I called and spoke with Tony. Tony was great! Responsive. Knowledgeable. He also saved me about $25 by having A.R.E. ship direct to me vs. having the parts shipped to Heavy Haulers and me drive up. I highly recommend doing business with them!

I called and spoke to Lisa (I think her name was) and she confirmed right away that she had the right size tire with the correct size and spec rim. We were able to limp to Versatile tire with a spare tire and the bent rim, bought the set, changed the rim and tire in the lot and were on our way! Versatile really saved the day. Thank you!

Since I live about an hour and a half away, I asked Brandon in sales if there was any chance they could fit me in for same-day service. He immediately said, "Let's check!" and transferred me to Josh in the service department, who enthusiastically agreed to get it done. I rolled in at 2:15 PM on a Friday afternoon, and they went right to work. While they were at it, I asked if they might also have time to replace the parking brake and address any other issues the technician noticed. About 30 minutes later, they updated me that the brake would add about 45 minutes to the wait, and they also recommended a chain service and adjustment. Called late Friday afternoon about a leak from our hot water tank. Call was answered, my info taken…read morebut she suggested I call first thing in the am when they opened. Call was answered Saturday morning and I was transferred to service. I opted for the first available technician instead of choosing my own. (Needed this repair asap since we are from out of town and using the camper) I got an appointment for the very next morning. Within 2 hours I received a call saying it was all finished and covered under our warranty. The technician explained the leak came from 2 separate hoses (one that was only visible after removing the tank), those were tightened. He made sure there was no crack in the tank and even straightened the tank because it was installed crooked. After we were finished I asked if there was another way to loosen the water filter because I couldn't get it to budge. He got it loose for me. Thank you to everyone in the service dept for helping fix our trailer and getting us in and out so fast! I'm sorry so many others had bad experiences, but I certainly did not. I will go back if I ever need service in the Albany area.

We brought our brand new Newmar 2026 Super Star there for a few service issues and they were unable…read moreto repair our awning completely. They did not know how to sync the remote and stated they could not find a particular box needed to sync it. A service technician was throwing around totes and other items in our basement area trying to look for this equipment. We ended up doing the leg work ourselves and contacting Girard to have them talk us through how to sync the remote, works great now and it only took them 3 minutes to talk us through the process. Turns out that "box" was not even something in our coach. Melissa, who takes care of Newmar accounts, was very rude at times over the phone, seemed as if we were bothering her.
