December 9th After weeks of getting no answers i got a call telling me to bring my 4 wheeler in on November 24(three weeks after this call) and he can fix it for me. so NOW I'm not sure what is going on but left my 4 wheeler with you a couple of weeks ago, no call. I get no answer on multiple extensions when i call during business hours, and my messages do not get returned. I use that vehicle to do work it isn't a recreational item for me. December 16th I have finally just today gotten through to the mechanic who told me two more weeks before he can look at it. Will updated when i know more. January 7th Updating my review after contacting the BBB i was able to get a reply Now telling me (because i complained i'm) sure that they couldn't fix my machine) and would charge me $2000 for the parts that they could fix. Don't give this business your money. On the 16th i finally got back my 4 wheeler. No "work" done to it, It is in pieces, Parts haven't been bolted back down and are just laying. It ran when i gave it to them, but had to be put on the my truck with a forklift when i got there. During this farce i contacted the BBB. Weeks after with no contact form the business, the complaint was finally sent out and amazingly i receive a very condescending call telling me my repair will cost a staggering amount of money. When it is fixed in the future i will post an update on what the real cost was compared to the number they gave me. read more

I bought a brand new trailer from them March 2022. The latches were broken. I pointed it out and they were very helpful and reassuring that they will get the replacement latches with the next delivery. Well, 2 months goes by and no call. I called and he said they will be with the next delivery. This went on for an entire year. Let me repeat that, an entire year! I called april 2023 and asked if he can give me latches off a trailer in the parking lot. He said no. I asked if this is ever going to get resolved, he said nothing but complaining about the manufacturer. Well a year later my patience is done. I asked if im going to have to write a review to get my latches, he started cursing at me and hung up the phone. These are an off the shelf part for $140. The trailer was $8k. A good businessman would have bought them and made right by the customer. Not here. You can tell this is a place that was started by a father with good business practices only for his son to run it into the ground later on. Good luck to anyone that works there, this cant go on for long. read more

I called and spoke to Bob...I knew exactly what I wanted as I've been researching it for awhile. We've even test driven one that a friend had. He starts out by telling me the specific model I am asking about doesn't even exist. Huh? I had it pulled up on HIS own web site as I was speaking with him (2019 Polaris Ranger Crew 570-6). Then...he starts knocking it like it's an inferior model and why would I want that, anyway? It was weird. The immediate attempt at an up-sell turned me off. We simply need a machine to haul our customers around a 5 acre lot to show them our products. It's unlikely we'll ever go over 10mph. haha Anyway..we found the machine mentioned above at another Polaris dealer and bought it the next day. Your loss, BOB! read more

I filled out Griffin Motorsports service request form on July 8th at 4:30pm looking for an axle for my sled trailer and for them to install. I called them on July 23rd "Dave" took down my info --Make, model & Vin of trailer.In the mean time I called another SnoPro dealer in MA ( Orchard Hill Sales) and gave them all my info. Within and hour Orchard Hill had an estimate and ordered the axle. So I called Griffin back and got a rude response. I've always been a proponent of "brick and mortar" stores and the like. Sure you may be able to find an accessory or part cheaper on the internet. But here is my take,when you spend local it helps locals! This is a truly family run business and I like it that way! When I "needed" a new helmet they took care of me like I was buying a $10,000 machine! When I needed warranty service on my bike they took care of me like I bought it there even though I bought the bike used third party. I know that when the time comes to replace the bike they will help. Great service and competitive prices will keep me a faithful customer,period! read more

Pleasant helpful staff. I enjoyed my visit to the dealership, got my parts and assistance with servicing my ATV. Looked at motorcycles while I was there. Thinking of buying my 8th bike, was at the HD dealer down the street prior to stopping in to Griffins, I enjoyed the pressure free sales approach they demonstrated, much easier to deal with then the pressure of the desperate HD dealer on Central Ave. Well I didn't find my next bike that day, but the attention and courtesy I was shown have won my interest to consider Griffins and their products over my life long patronage to the Harley davidson place down the street. read more

Horrible experience!! Called way ahead of time and set up an appointment. Left my bike with them TWO days before the day of the appointment and was told it would be done by end of day Saturday. I made arrangements with a friend to travel from Troy to Schenectady (where Griffins is) only to call in to be told that they "forgot it was supposed top be done" that day. This was at 3pm with the shop closing at 4 and NOT open on Sunday. In the end my bike was finished on MONDAY and I had to arrange again with a friend to get to Schenectady - and rearrange my work schedule to be able to get there by 6! EVERYTHING was botched. Now I do believe their mechanics are qualified and skilled, but their inside service department is horrible. Their attitude towards their STRING of mistakes and errors was pathetic. "What do you want us to do about it" - is what the Service Manager had to say to me. If you have a motorcycle and need work done - be warned - these people really don't seem to care about anyone. I am taking my business to ANYWHERE else...you might want to do the same. read more

Ron and bob are scam artist. They sold me a lemon trailer. They kept the trailer for 45. Days. And still could not fix it. Then they told me that they were not gonna eat the bill. I would have to spend another 11k. On a new trailer. I been in business for 8 years. I have no clue how they have been around for this long when they can't back up there products. I will be taking them to court and if anyone else have had any experience like mine please let me know. So there's more Evidence and Bill a case. Scam artist. This business will not return your deposit even if they are not able to get the item you ordered. Ask to see his refund policy before making any purchases here. Do not give a cash deposit or put it on a debit card.... you will never get it back. It is horrible business to not return a deposit. A deposit protects a business owner when they order goods and if you can't produce the goods in a timely manner then refund a deposit. Beware of this company for service. I recently had a four wheeler serviced at this establishment and had the installation of a new winch. When I got the vehicle home I found that it was actually a used winch and when I took it back they were unwilling to admit that this was the case. This morning I went to Griffen Motorsport with a problem I had on a piece of equipment I had purchased from them. A little history here. I have purchased thousands of $$ of items from this establishment over the last several years. This item ( a hold down strap) was not functioning as the safety had quit working. I have purchased previously 5 of these, so I know how they function. I was told it was operating correctly even though stamped on the side were the words " close latch fully for safety to operate ". Since this safety was not operating it was obvious that there was a problem. When I pointed out the caution quote stamped on the metal latch on the side I was told I did not know what I was talking about. When I explained I had others bought there that are identical and there safety's operate fine I was called an "as-hole". Nice! Never going back there read more

A long time friend of mine gave this business a $500 deposit for a Slingshot several months ago. They kept delaying him all summer and now at the end of the riding season, he got tired of waiting and went elsewhere. When he tried to get his deposit back, they had the audacity to deny him. We walked into this dealership on 4/9, shopping around for a motorcycle. Within the 1st 5 minutes, an older, white-haired, Caucasian, "gentleman" (who appeared to be an owner) walked by us. Instead of welcoming us to the store or saying "hello" to us, he calls out to a younger man (who is conducting a business transaction in a side office), "Look at those 'camel jockeys' out there taking pictures of themselves on the bikes!" He was referring to a few younger men - who were not Caucasian - that were checking out motorcycles by the road. We promptly left that dealership and ended up purchasing our motorcycle (cash) at Ronnie's Motor Sports. We have NO interest in doing business with an owner or business that is clearly racist! read more

I bought a 20ft. inclosed trailer from Griffen 2 years ago. with the weight of the trailer & my cargo, I carry no more than 4,500 lbs. the trailer sits 5 months a year. The leaf springs & shackle broke on the one side & the other side was on its way ou, in only its 3rd year of servicet. I brought to griffen & there it sat. it took 5 days before the parts were ordered, 10 days to get here, supposedly they were back ordered, only to hear that they were wrong. I had to order them myself & what a surprise, they were shipped to my house in 2 days & they where correct. It then took another 2 days before I got the trailer back, 1 day shy of 1 month. The techs are great but the customer experience sucks, only 1 person does the ordering, I will never go back there again. read more

I purchased a 2019 stealth trailer from Ron griffin himself almost 9k paid cash or I would have more fees .did not have the trailer for 2 hours and noticed rear door was hung 1/2" out of square were it hits the frame side door hung messed up .back to Ron next day . After months of nothing being done/ignored .called manufacturers of the stealth trailer who make many rivetless trailers and have gotten no ware with them either at this time panels are separating,have a led light out ,roof leaks rear door remains the same side door same .hav owned this trailer about 6 months and after many many calls texts nothing has Ben done .so what good is a warranty if no one will stand by it ?? I own an interstate trailer and a United trailer never one issue.i went rivetless and all aluminum to go with my beautiful aluminum bodied f150 . I have heard my tongue for way to long . Ron griffin I wish I never heard of griffin Motorsport.worst decision I ever made in my life .and at this time the trailer company that makes those rivitless trailers that griffins and other company's sell under many names won't even return my calls or texts any more . So u were warned . They were given a 3,500 $ quote to fix these problems buy a company they sent me to . And they said they would not pay that much . Waste of my time . Asked them to send me the led that is out . Nope sealant for the roof leak nope . I am a contractor if one of my customers has a problem I am there the next day to fix the problem . I guess I care about my customers ..2019 contractor trailer garbage . Won't even pass inspection. Beware !!!!! read more

His son Bob was a great help to me searching for aftermarket parts and accessories I wanted to add to it. He was easy to work with, really knows what he's doing and helped me a lot.
