Decided to check this spot out over the weekend on a whim. It's kind of on a busy street but there is some residential and that street is SUPER small so good luck finding parking there too. We got lucky lol! They have some nice seating and tables on the side of their building down that same residential street and they also have umbrellas for shade which is nice. Walked in and what a beautiful cafe! You immediately notice all the musical instruments which makes me think they have live music some times. Ordered at the counter and asked what their "RAF Latte" was and the guy mentioned it was for the customers who wanted them to be more on the sweeter side and less strong so I went for their Horchata latte. Took a few minutes to get my drink but as soon as I saw it, it looked absolutely delish! And it was. Super creamy, still on the sweeter side but the creaminess is what I loved most about it. Cute space! There's a drum set and piano inside which was neat. The servers seemed aloof or not interested, but it didn't bother me. My husband got a cold brew which he liked a lot. I got the iced tiramisu latte. It was okay. A bit too on the sweet side for me. I still finished it because I wasn't about to let $11 go to waste. It came with a ladyfinger cookie which was a cute touch. Unsure if I'd come back; maybe if I was in the area again. But that's me. I still recommend others give this place a shot. Found this spot on Yelp and wanted to give it a try! Really good spot with a wide array of items on their menu. I tried two of their drinks. One being an iced Tiramisu Latte and a European Iced Coffee. The Tiramisu Latte had great flavor; nice cold foam on the top and it included a biscuit as well! Their burritos European Iced Coffee was unlike any drink I had before as it included a scoop of vanilla ice cream which was so good. It reminded me of the most refined mocha frappe ever. Service was good! Orders were taken fast and drinks came out relatively fast as well. The ambiance is nice , just a small cozy coffee shop that clearly has a lot in store for it. Seats are available inside and outside. Overall , I would love to try more items from the menu , especially some of their food! read more

This place delivered delicious, well-balanced coffee with intense flavor-seems like a contradiction, I know, but trust me, it's not. I ordered the cinnamon latte. It wasn't too sweet, and was prepared perfectly - a first! I was impressed because cinnamon in coffee is often a hit or miss for me. The barista was very nice and I wouldn't be surprised if customers visited just to experience her pleasant demeanor. The cafe itself is very inviting. Made the drinks quickly when I mobile ordered, although I wish they would've sent out a notification that they were done since I did put my number and email in when ordering. The inside of the cafe is...interesting. I think they were going for a cozy jazz bar type of vibe but idk that I would stay and drink my coffee there. The actual coffee was strong but it wasn't bad. Best Coffee Shop in Glendale CA. Today I searched for Coffee Shop near me and found the cutest coffee shop I have seen in Glendale. They have comfortable seats and even have wall plugs to plug in your computer. The coffee is excellent and the food is even better. They have so many wonderful deserts in the case. I do not need them but I want to try every one of them. They look so good. The beautiful indoor cafe also has outdoor seating with umbrella's. Give them a try. Great matcha, kind staff, and a solid study spot--with just a few small quirks. I enjoy studying at this place! I was pleasantly surprised by how good their iced matcha latte was--especially since it's not an Asian-owned café. Definitely one of the better ones I've had in the area. The service here is always great. The staff are consistently kind, welcoming, and attentive, which really makes a difference. I did try the pastrami sandwich and found it to be super salty, so that might not be for everyone. As for studying, the ambiance is usually pretty chill and comfortable. It's a great place to get work done, though the Wi-Fi resets every hour, which can be a bit inconvenient and if you're short like me, there can be some tension on your shoulders as the tables are a little higher than usual for studying. Occasionally, large groups or parties will come in to socialize, but it's manageable--just pop in your headphones and you're good to go. I wish they closed later in the night as it does get much busier at night even when it's closing time around 10pm on the weekends! Street parking is available and makes things much easier, especially since the café is in a fairly busy area. Needed something quick on the way to the airport and took a chance on this place. I got the rose cold brew and I love it! The cold brew is very strong and robust, and the rose cream was spot on. They even had the viral Dubai chocolate strawberries so I grabbed one of those too for the flight. The staff are so so friendly. My man got straight cold brew, and I could tell he found it a little too strong. He requested to add some syrup to it and the owner even recommended some oat milk. No extra charge! A nice coffee shop in the area. We ordered a croissant and cannoli. The croissant was flaky and buttery & the cannoli filling was really good and the pistachios on the outside were very nice. Uptown Coffee has been in my Yelp bookmarks for months! A couple of Saturdays ago, I visited the shop for the first time. I arrived around 9am and found parking in the private lot behind the shop easily. I ordered the Rose Cold Brew Coffee, which was delicious. The rose cream foam was fragrant and didn't taste artificial, and it paired well with the cold brew. I never had Armenian coffee before visiting Uptown Coffee, so I'm glad to have tried it. Also, I had a sip of my brother's Iced Macchiato with whole milk and caramel (syrup costs a little extra), which was light and sweet. I found that the staff were friendly and service was quick. I got takeout and didn't stay long, but they do have indoor and outdoor seating. The shop was quiet at 9am on a Saturday, so it could be a good study/work spot. They have some instruments set up at the front of the shop, so I'd like to come back to enjoy more coffee with live music as well! read more

I have found an amazing coffee, sandwiches, breakfast items, pastries GEM! I'm a long time Glendale Resident, learned about this cafe recently at an event for a School Board Candidate. Stopped by today to get lunch. Great service! The two ladies behind the counter were in full operational mode and they knew what they were doing. Super cute coffee shop! The prices were a bit steeper than Starbucks (~$8 for a large cold brew with vanilla in it), but I'll always happily pay a bit more than that place for some good coffee. Note, it didn't seem like this is the type of place that recognizes many of us like cream in our coffee lol. Literally everyone enjoying their coffees around me when I was there was drinking it black, there was no cream out by the sugar, and the cold brew was served black. I just added some creamer to it when I got home because I didn't want to look like a weirdo in a sea of black coffee drinkers haha. I'm a mom to a toddler with a FT job and busy schedule, so my energy runs on empty always and it's rare to find coffee that actually wakes me up, but the cold brew from here did the trick! Was going through my list and stumbled on Uptown Coffee. I ordered the Tiramisu latte ($11), milk cake, pastrami sandwich and a cannoli. The latte was amazing, 10/10! i enjoy this cafe. i come to this cafe every now and then whenever i am in the burbank area. my favorite drinks from this place is their mocha frap & matcha latte. the ambiance is nice. pretty decor. lots of indoor seating + they also have outdoor seating as well. the service is efficient. couple weeks ago i tried their tiramisu iced latte with crepes on the side. i liked the crepes with the fruits on top it was good however, it had waayyyy too much fruit & nutella. it was over doing it for me. the tiramisu was good but it's not the kind of drink I'd order again. crepes 7.5/10 tiramisu latte : 6.5/10 i saw that they added the dubai strawberry chocolatepistachio on their menu. the strawberries were fresh and yummy. the chocolate was nice however, it was a bit too much and not enough of the pistachio cream. i wish they had balanced out the pistachio cream and the chocolate so it wouldn't be too much chocolate. the pistachio wasn't really my favorite for me. in my opinion, it had a gummy texture which was strange. dubai strawberry pistachio chocolate 5/10. read more

Uptown Coffee is the ideal local corner coffee shop. It's elegant, clean, has a lot of character and most importantly makes great caffeinated drinks. I had a large cold brew with a shot of vanilla. It was perfect. The drink was tasty and filled me with energy without overly tasting like coffee. My wife had a large latte that she enjoyed as well. The service was top notch as well. Our cashier made our drinks immediately and packaged our baked good to go in a nice container. The pricing is fair for what you're getting; considering how expensive is these days, $18 for two large specialty drinks and a baked good is not bad at all. The ambiance is really cozy and welcoming. It's a great place to get work done, hang out with a small group of friends or sit back to your own thoughts while enjoying a flavorful drink. I'm not from the Los Angeles are and it saddens me that there isn't a place like this where I live. I highly recommend Uptown Cafe over any of the big box chain coffee places. read more

We tried Uptown Coffee after discovering that the crepe place we used to come to in the same building is now out of business. Uptown Coffee had a totally different vibe than the previous tenants, and it's interesting to see the change. They do offer crepes, too, but on a limited basis - only sweet, no savory. They definitely have a wide variety of coffee options, plus other beverages, some sandwiches, baked goods, and a smattering of other menu items. The graphics for the menu boards, and the overall interior décor of the space is dramatic with black used to good effect. Dear Hubby and I split a turkey sandwich, freshly prepared on excellent multi-grain bread. That was the highlight of the food part of the visit. The coffee was too bitter and lacking sufficient milk for my preference. They also said that they had Stevia for sweetening, then said that they were out of it. We also ordered a sweet crepe to share with our toddler granddaughter. She can be picky, but she loved the bananas, strawberries, and strawberry ice cream with the crepe. At first, she wasn't sure about the texture of the crepe, but she got into it. To me, it was too chewy, and difficult to cut with a plastic knife. There was almost too much Nutella drizzled on top; became the overwhelming flavor. Also, we'd asked for the ice cream to be on the side, but they dropped it right on top. That was part of why I am not giving a higher number of stars - I experienced that they didn't listen to what we were asking for in our order. They sort-of listened, and then gave us what they wanted us to have, and not what we actually ordered. The vibe in the place is that of a locals spot, where I didn't feel that welcomed as a random guest not from the neighborhood. The previous business had provided a total opposite experience - we always felt warmly greeted and appreciated when we'd stop in for crepes. For lovers of vintage music, this is a spot for you - Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and other crooners from the 50's / 60's were the featured artists. The volume was louder than ideal for conversing. A number of folks with there with laptops working or studying. Am not sure how they heard themselves think with the music at that volume. They have a tiny parking lot out back; otherwise, you'll be hunting for a spot on the street. Love their house salsa dressing that was added to my breakfast crepe order!!!! Any ways, took a star off was due to the rest room in Total lack of hand soap from the dispenser. Also, their wait staff didn't immediately clean off a table from a family of customers who were dining in. That looked like a more comfortable table to sit on even to take pics. I had to use the table next to that uncleaned one instead. Aside from that, I would return for another round of their drink or their Organic tea bags to go next time. But yes, we Do need to wash our hands, so I had to use their hand sanitizer as alternative and wash my hands at the next venue I supported which was Mendocino Farms, Burbank, CA.
