The only thing I did not enjoy was the flavor of the dan dan mien has changed- it had a much stronger mala flavor than the last time I had it, which made it a harder to eat and enjoy. The noodles were extremely thin so I wonder if their current recipe for the sauce is more suitable for a thicker and less absorbant noodle. I enjoy mala but this definitely felt much less balanced than what we had here previously. Besides the mala being a little overpowering, our other dishes and drinks came out great and we were satisfied with our meal.

I've had pho from hundreds of restaurants and I would say Asian Kitchen is in my top 5. The usual Chinese American dishes are also a 10/10. I've lived in Bethel my whole life and I didn't know I needed this place until it opened. Will, the owner is a very charismatic person who's always so friendly and outgoing. Wish this place great success and highly recommend everyone give them a try. You won't be disappointed!

Waiter was friendly and gave us some time to make our selections. I chose the egg roll, tangerine beef. Hubby chose the orange chicken. I asked the waiter if the soda came in a can. He said yes. We then waited for our meal. He returned quickly with my soda, in a glass with lots of ice. Not what I expected. But I guess I wasn't specific about my drink order. My egg roll was good. Cut decoratively in half at an angle, piping hot. Our food arrived shortly. Both plates were generous and came with white rice. Cut a portion in small pieces to taste with rice. Tasted so good, burned my tongue a little it was so hot. Ate a bit more, and that's when my mouth started burning up! The dish was a little more spicy than I expected. Tried to eat more, but it was too much for me. My hubby on the other hand was in his glory. He Loves heat. The spiciest the better. He tried mine and said it was just as spicy as his, which he loved. So, I just thought we would take mine home for him to enjoy later. I have to say it was good, before I had to cry uncle. So would definitely have to return for another try and let them know I can't take the spiciness. I did notice that the restaurant was busy with takeout orders. So I guess that's their main business. So I wouldn't say this was a cozy place. But the food is good. Lots of parking outside since they're next to a supermarket and liquor store. There weren't any 'lunch' specials, so this was over $50 with tip. By the way, lots to choose from the menu. I only took pictures of some pages.

Almost every single we've ordered is certifiably crave-able (my mouth is watering thinking about it right now!) and loved my entire family. My favorites: the green beans (!!!), cucumber with minced garlic, any of the dumplings, shredded pork with 5 spices tofu (an acquired taste!) and any of their beef entrees. We've had amazing fried rice too but then forgot what we ordered and the chicken fried rice wasn't as good... still delicious though! As for taste, it's a golden-colored, light-to-medium-bodied lager with mild bitterness, a subtle sweet malt aroma, and a sharp finish.. This is good! It's ice cold too! For our appetizers, we are having the Steamed Vegetable Dumplings and Spicy Flavored Jelly Noodles which are dressed in scallions, ginger, garlic, celery and cilantro. These are good! They come with soy sauce. The noodles are made from mong beans. Mung beans (Vigna radiata) are small, green legumes native to India, widely cultivated in Asia, and known as green gram or moong bean. They are a highly nutritious, versatile ingredient, rich in protein, fiber, vitamins, and minerals, used in both savory dishes (soups, curries, noodles) and sweet desserts, often sprouted for increased nutritional value. Mung beans are easy to cook, require little to no presoaking, and offer health benefits like antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. I am also having the Seafood Hot and Sour Soup (small size). This seafood soup is good! Not too spicy! It's similar to the standard Chinese hot and sour soup in taste. For my entree, i'm having the Sliced Chicken with Crunchy Rice. This is made with chicken slices, crunchy rice, black fungus, ginger, scallions, garlic, pickled chili peppers, lettuce and pea sprouts. They fold the crispy rice and put it on top. This is piping hot! Spicy too! For dessert, we are having a Chocolate Truffle (made with Zabione cream center surrounded by chocolate gelato and caramelized hazelnuts topped with cocoa powder), Cappuccino Truffle (made with cappuccino gelato with a heart of espresso covered with coffee flavored merinique sprinkles) and Capps Pistachio (custard gelato swirled with chocolate and pistachio gelato ago topped with praline pistachios). Zabaione (or zabaglione) is a classic Italian dessert made from whipped egg yolks, sugar, and sweet wine (traditionally Marsala) cooked gently over a double boiler until light, foamy, and custard-like. It can be served warm as a sauce over fruit or cookies, or chilled as a standalone dessert, often garnished with berries or biscotti.
