The staff are knowledgeable and nice and I can give them credit for that. The reason why the score is so low is because I am very frustrated of how difficult just to reach them. I contacted them a month ago on Facebook messenger to schedule a repair/tune. No response. I contacted them again a month later on Messenger, still no response. I called them and left my callback number, no callbacks for 6 hours. I then called them again and stay on the line, I was placed on hold for an hour and hanged up afterwards. This place had our 2020 vehicle to be tuned. They had the car for 7 weeks and had to pick the car up incomplete and with a messed up dip stick. Terrible communication and wouldn't answer some days. Car was sitting in the shop while "manny" could go take drive time at the track. Called the next day and he was out for a two hour lunch break. Honestly was hoping for more from this place. Very disappointed and will never return. read more

Placed an order with their online store around Christmas and received an email back in January that the items ordered were not in stock but that they had other options. Messaged back to get information as to what the other options were and have been ghosted since. I've tried calling and emailing multiple times only to get nowhere. Had to eventually file a chargeback with my bank after not hearing back. read more

Had a super charger and meth kit installed in 2010 Camaro ss. 1. The tune was horrible, my car wouldn't stay started and idle was sporadic, this caused O2 sensors to be replaced. 2. Install of supercharger was rushed and no car was taken. I have had several hoses replaced because the Pro charger was pressing against them. 3. Had to have the Meth kit pump replaced with less than 5k miles because the pressure was not adjusted correctly. 4. Air intake hose needed to be replaced due to cutting of the frame and hose just sitting on the cut frame. I spent over 15k with them and no care was taken. Every repair I have made (over 4k in repairs) since was due to the poor install of the super charger. When I called there would be little to no response other than i could bring it and wait 3 months to have them look at it. If I could do this all over again I would have taken it to a less commercial place. I get they have a little fame but their fame will cost you money in the end. I will never go back to them! read more

I've had engine, clutch, tuning, and rear end work performed on my 2009 GT500 at HPP. Customer service was excellent, workmanship was above expectations, and the prices were competitive. Manny (owner) is very knowledgeable regarding performance upgrades for my car. He was willing to stay very late to dial in my tune as I was leaving for the 2016 Hot Rod Power Tour the following morning. Brad, who runs sales, is very knowledgeable, friendly, and customer satisfaction focused. Recently, I had my car painted at their shop by Ozzy (Ozzy is Manny's brother and owner of the paint and body shop within HPP). Ozzy provided a shop tour, explained in detail different ways they could paint my car to achieve whatever result I wanted, and provided an analysis of my car's paint condition with recommendations on how to best repaint it. Vivian, who runs paint and body sales, is knowledgeable, customer focused, and she keeps their clients well informed on project status. The paint job came out perfect and I couldn't be more happy with the outcome. I highly recommend both mechanical and paint work at HPP. read more

One star for Craig. Good guy great attitude!If you take your car to them, take photos. They'll say that childish sh*t like. It was like that when it came. Your car will not come back to you with everything it had on it. I would use color as the issue and possibly has a part in it. I feel like not enough money and status. If I had the money and status...my car would be done right. So far transmission is holding up. Hopefully it will because I do not want to take it back to this place. I'll spend more money somewhere else first. The lady had the audacity to ask me, if there was something they could do to make it right. I don't know many people who are not naturally a little weary of most shops. The auto repair industry has a rough, but somewhat self-created, bad reputation. This past summer when my car's rear-end started to give out, I was a cross-roads between getting rid of a Mustang that I have loved dearly or beginning the process of turning it into a beast. At the advice of a good friend, I called HPP Motorsports to consult them on a few scenarios. (Replacing the rear-end, replacing it and adding forced induction, rebuilding the engine, tranny, etc). Brad, Manny, and the other guys at HPP were very straightforward and honest with their advice and suggested strategy which centered around being both cost-effective and realistic. We opted to go with a turbocharger set-up in addition to fixing the rear-end and eventually rebuilding the engine and adding in a new transmission. They did exceptional work on the car--beginning its transformation this past August. After the turbo install was completed, the ride-height wasn't at a level to my satisfaction (not their fault). I went back to the shop aggravated, but to my surprise before I had to say anything, they offered to make it right--noting that they wouldn't just leave me hanging on the street after being their customer. They put on a set of Cobra springs--raising the vehicle's height and charged basically nothing for it. Naturally, we were off to a good start. Shortly after, the need to replace my transmission became apparent (as is expected when running a turbo on a stock tranny). We gutted the drive-train and went with a Tremec Magnum XL 6-speed setup which worked out perfectly. Shortly before my vehicle was going to be ready, HPP was hit hard by a ring which was going around the area hitting dealerships, etc (all caught on camera). Brad delivered the bad news very professionally indicating that my car was one of the several that was vandalized. Let's face it, life happens. This was one of those bummer scenarios. But once again, HPP offered to make it right for me--offering to cover my out-of-pocket expenses to get my car back to pre-burglary condition quickly. Again, an unexpected but kind gesture that is indicative of a shop that builds a trust-driven relationship with its clients became apparent. My recent experiences with HPP has caused my loyalty to this shop to surge. I wear the shop's banner on my car for this reason, and plan to return their way early next year for building a new engine for my little racer. HPP runs circles around Dallas Mustang and other speciality/boutique racing shops in the DFW area. In my honest opinion, these guys are reputable, honest, and good for their word. They take care of their customers. If you're looking for a discount-shop to change your oil, this isn't for you. But, if you're into customizing/repairing/tuning American muscle cars and pushing them to their limits--and doing it the right way--look no further. Brad/Manny, thanks again, gents. Do not take ur car to this place I have a 2006 gt they where supposed to tune to 93 octane because I had truestreet tune it with 91 octane and got 515 horses at wheel and was gonna try hpp which only got 530 with a smaller pulley and 93 octane should of gotten 560 easy with that setup they had my car for 3 months I went to pick it up 3 times and each time it ran like crap so they talked me into putting a regulator on it which cost another 1500 and no difference at all on top of that they scratched my fender and broke my emergency cable which they would not replace cause they said it could of happened to anyone what a bunch of bull crap I spent over 2k for nothing because there tune sucks always dies on me and just doesn't take gas right but the truestreet tune works great oh and brad is a piece of crap that thinks he knows everything will never go back. This place is a joke, stay away! They have had my fuel injectors for three weeks and were suppose to have them for one. When I called to check the status, they were rude and had attitude. Today they called and said, sorry they cant do them. I have contacted my attorney and am going to file a deceptive Trades Practice suit on them, plus towing, storage and my legal fees. Just picked up my 2019 Mustang GT from HPP and let me tell you I too was a little skeptical about leaving my baby in somebody else's hands. But you know you wake up one morning and say I'm going to take a chance on this one. And some times you get lucky. And today was my lucky day. Not only did they reach the goal I was looking for hell they might have reach a milestone for naturally aspirated S550s. Great job guys. I'm very pleased with the bolt ons. And I can't say enough about the service. From the beginning until this day Brad reassured me that this project was goin to be a relationship that HPP was always going to stand by their work and will be their if I have any question. Hey look guys I went in their hoping that for once I'd get what I payed for. Man they nocked it out of the park. Why not, They Build Real Race Cars all the time. And let me say my plan started long be fore Covid and we had to wait for things to get better, what'in their fault. But the main thing here is they did it. Some times you Lucky.
