I saw a few local friends mention this place on social media, but I didn't really know what to expect. When I went to the nearby Salad and Go, I saw it and made a point to come by - and I'm so glad I did! I ended up coming back a couple of times, mixed feelings about the actual drinks (see below) but love the concept and wish we had one in Vegas to be able to get my sweet tea fix, but it seems to be a franchised regional chain. First visit, I got the mint tea, "sweet zero" style with Truvia. This is what totally got me! Strong minty flavor like Moroccan tea, wasn't too sweet for me, super refreshing on a hot summer day. Went back and tried their Texas Chai Latte, Horchata Latte, and Marfa Morning Breve - mixed feelings on the coffees, the chai didn't have a strong spice flavor and the coffee drinks basically tasted the same, and more of a sweet drink than a coffee. But coffee isn't really what they're known for - maybe ask for less syrup/milk to have a stronger coffee flavor? Service was okay - they're fairly fast and friendly but not exactly knowledgeable? Person at window could not tell me what time they open for the day because "he just works closing but you can Google it" -- okay, fair point, but you work here, this is pretty basic info. Online they have a (publicly-posted) "secret menu" but it's not especially helpful for actually knowing what you're getting - no clue what to expect from a Pink Flamingo? Is it pink lemonade? Insert shrug emoji. Basically HTea0 is yet another drive-thru drink shop known for their customizable teas. Other reviews indicate that they have an indoor seating area. It's actually quicker to part and run it to get your drink! I am something of a sweet tea fanatic, so I had high hopes for HTeaO. I must say, I was very impressed with the variety of flavors available. With a plethora of sweet and non sweet options (and some special seasonal flavors) there was most definitely something for everyone. In addition, they have testing cups available to sample the flavors before you commit to one. However, excuse the pun, it just wasn't exactly my cup of tea. I am a lover of good traditional southern sweet tea (like Bill Miller tea), so this wasn't as strong or sweet as I prefer. However, my boyfriend tagged along and did enjoy the tea despite it being different than what we usually prefer. So, it really does depend on what type of tea you like! I came to this HTeaO most recently to redeem my birthday reward for a free gallon of tea. I also got a glass of tea for the road. I love coming here for iced tea, but I also LOVE their iced coffee. It's delicious and much more reasonably priced than other chains. I usually use the drive through, and have always had fast and polite service. However, I went inside to redeem my gallon because I wasn't sure what flavor I wanted. The inside of the store is really neat. There's rows of teas that are all labeled with their flavors. If you get a cup then you can serve yourself with any mix of teas and any amount of ice. They also provided small sample glasses so you can try the different flavors of tea. I absolutely love this franchise. Also, I highly recommend the app because they have an excellent rewards program. read more

I typically don't review locations if their more on the corporate style venue verses local owners type venues, but I definitely want to make a point to say that this one does it right. It's such a quick and simple setup, but the variety is awesome and delicious! I love being able to mix and match flavors, and my favorite flavor is the sweet blueberry green tea with sweet peach and a splash of unsweetened raspberry. As a self-proclaimed (unsweet) tea enthusiast, HTeaO is obviously a magnetic force I'll be pulled toward time and time again. I first learned about HTeaO when in Houston in early 2020 and had to know everything about it. Yelped it. Googled it. Visited it. We did the dramatic U-turn and everything to get there and place an order for something different than the typical black iced tea. I loved it (got a coconut tea) but was so sad that there wasn't a location in San Antonio. As luck would have it, a few months later, an HTeaO opened up in town--albeit, far from where I live. I've been to this location a few times now, and it's fantastic! Prompt service, great selection, and a drive-thru to boot! My favorite thing is that you can get gallons of the good stuff to-go with your large drink so that you have something to look forward to during the week as well as the slog back home. For a nice variety of fruity teas, be sure to check 'em out. Mint and watermelon are delicious and refreshing, and I can't wait to try some of the other flavors in the future. read more

This place is a must! We went inside and the employees were super friendly, encouraging us to use the sample cups to try different teas. The flavors were endless... we tried coconut, blueberry, watermelon, and peach to name a few. They were all so delicious which made it hard to choose. They also sell tiny (ramekin) cups with fresh fruit to add to your tea. My husband ended up getting Georgia Peach and I mixed Coconut with Lemonade! It was yummy! I absolutely love the tiny ice - it's perfectly crunchy. The shop itself is so cute too! They sell various merchandise along with many Yeti brand items. Absolutely love my local HTeaO. I haven't been to any others so I don't have a perspective other than this one. I will go to others I see because of this one. The tea is well priced and if you go in the middle of the afternoon they have happy hour pricing. We like to go and get big ones with no ice during happy hour on our movie nights. The tea is too sweet for some people, but it's sweet tea. Expect it to be sweet or do half and half. They have like 100 teas brewing and chilling. The menu is simple and understandable, very clear and to the point. The varieties are endless! We got: Sweet Regular Tea with blue berries and Strawberries- we were a little disappointed with the serving size of strawberries for a large tea tbh, but the tea was great! The water they use is delicious and crisp! The tea was lightly sweetened, not overly sweet at all. Can't really taste the fruit but it does look cool in the cup. Unsweetened Watermelon with Lemon and Strawberry- Yowza! That is one delicious cup of tea! All the flavor!! Yummmm!! Nice crisp water, just the slightest hint of watermelon. The lemon gave it that little punch to top it off...can't taste the strawberry. Well, I am a frequent customer here. My favorite is the Sweet Georgia peach and sometimes the unsweetened one (when I'm watching my sugar intake). There's so many different wonderful tea flavors to choose from, but I seem to always pick this one. The staff is always friendly and welcoming and ready to help when needed. I was excited to find out that they sell bottled water too! The huge (I save my pennies in one of those kind!) ones! Their water goes through some kind of purification system and other stuff. Totally cool! Snacks like chips, beef jerky and healthy granola bars to go along with your flavored or plain iced teas. Gotta say, love how sweet the drive through people are....always! read more

Okay so the tea is good and I like the concept but it doesn't feel very COVID-19 friendly for a few reasons. I guess if you care about this I would recommend not going inside and going to the drive thru instead. If you go a really recommend the tea mint or the watermelon tea. I mixed it and enjoyed it. Here is how I would recommend making it a little safer during Covid. Make sure people put hand sanitizer when they walk in. You have cups and lids that are stacked up and it's hard to get one without holding (and touching) the rest. Give people a few sample cup so they are not touching them all.
