This is a auto repair shop in Fremont area . The owner and mechanic are Vietnamese and English speaking . Many friends brought their Toyota and Honda there for oil change and other service . They are good manner and professional, did a good job every time . Their price are not cheap but a little lower than the Japanese car dealers . Oil change only takes 20-30 minutes . I was looking to do a very quick oil change in my area, and HTP auto care was the first place that caught my eye. Though on the other side of Fremont, near the industrial area, I was in and out of the auto Care within 20 minutes. The oil change was not a lot, and they were very transparent with how much they charged me on the spot. Normally, auto shops like Jiffy Lube or Midas will charge you $90 to $105 for a premium synthetic oil change, but this one was just as wonderful, and they only charged me $69 for the whole thing (labor included, and they even checked my tire pressure and pumped more if needed). I would definitely give this place a try if you live in or around Fremont -- you will not be disappointed! read more

My car was blowing hot air for awhile now and has AC issues. I came in for a last minute AC consultation, and they were quickly able to assess I had a broken AC compressor. They didn't charge me for the assessment but only charged me for the labor to replace the compressor, freon, and the new compressor. The next day, they were able to quickly change my compressor, order the part for me and have my AC running again! They are very kind, honest, and reliable! Because Im a returning customer they diagnosed for free and ran a report showing me the problems. I went here the other day for help getting my AC compressor changed after the compressor clutch deteriorated. They were all kind and very helpful. Any questions I had were answered. They replaced the compressor for us and helped us get the Freon added back in. Costed about $1530 whereas another shop quoted us over $6100. Went for a Smog Test and they said the computer was down. "Come back tomorrow." So I did (around 3pm on a typical Thurs) and this time the smog test guy went home early. So i cannot recommend this place. At least for Smog testing. read more

8/28/2012 Ok, last month I arrive with my Groupon for a FREE oil change ($24.95 value). I'm then told that I would be charged $15 for shop supplies, disposal fee, tax and I thought I heard was "labor free." I said ok, and asked them to break it down for me. After a few minutes, they were done with my car. Written on the bill: shop supply fee, sales tax, "diposal" fee, labor fee...total $15 (not broken down as I had asked). So I ask again for the breakdown and it came down to this... shop supply $3 sales tax $2 "diposal" fee $3.15 labor fee $6.82 I said "I thought you said...labor free." wtf, I paid $15 and went on my way. On the back of the Groupon coupon by autocaresupersaver.com printed: Please allow for $3.00 shop supply fee+tax on all oil changes. $3.00 per quart over 5 quarts. At one point the lady told me that they didn't approve Groupon and the cost of an oil change is now $29.95 (not $24.95). I would not have minded paying 5 or $6 but 15? so much for being FREE June 2018 Update: Forgot I paid somewhere between $10-20 for groupon (incl. additional future "free" oil changes and other discounted?? services) that was never used (again)...so prob. ended up at 30+ total . I normally change oil myself, only take to a shop when I'm really lazy. read more

I'm here to update the gearbox lubricant. They communicated beforehand and asked if they could change the lubricating oil, and they assured me that there was no problem. But when I came here, they didn't know how to open the gearbox nut. Using the wrong tool, they damaged my gearbox nut and made it impossible to open the gearbox. I had to go back to the Acura dealer. Under normal circumstances, I have to spend an extra $200 on a service that I can get for as little as $298. I came back here afterwards to question them, but they didn't admit it. And won't give me any discount. read more

This has got to be the worst place possible to send your car. They completely ruined my vehicles dash, weather strips, and speakers while putting my car back together. There are a number of scratches left behind from sloppily throwing the car together. I took the car into a shop because of problems with heater core. The core itself was fixed but because that part is so deep in car, the whole front dash had to be removed. The wiring was compromised and now my right speaker does not work at all. Molding of car and steering column are not aligned, with gaps everywhere. On top of the issues, they are refusing to take responsibility for the damage they have done. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Beware! read more

Where do I even start. One Star for being courteous I guess, but other than that everything else was a nightmare. They told my wife that there is no leak in the car while there were puddles of oil on my garage floor just overnight. My wife had to take the car back 3 times and every time the guy at the shop cleaned it up and kept repeating there is no leak, just because he didnt disclose it in his "125 point" inspection and $1800 repair he performed 15 days before. Total waste of time that my wife and 6month old baby had to go sit at their shop just for them to not admit the troubles in the car he tried to cover up with "grease on engine bolts" are you kidding me. read more
