I'm not sure about other services or pricing this company offers, because it is not listed anywhere in there lobby. I came in here on referral from America's Tire for a four-wheel alignment. It cost me $69.95, and about half hours time. Not bad! I called the day before, made the appointment with Michael, and didn't have any trouble. Turns out, after several years, I really didn't need the alignment. Everything was in range. I basically threw away $70 for reassurance. Had a nice service experience with Michael. I recommend you have a ride ready so you don't have to wait in their tiny, cold lobby, if you're there for services that may take longer. Walmart is close, but probably not some place you want to walk to with all of the cars/Semis flying down that road. read more

I left my Camry at BNP to fix for stalling issue intermittently. In stead of fixing my car problem they returned me a dead car (no electrical power). They don't even know what to do, I suggest them to check the main fuse and I let one more day. They don't know where is the main fuse. I took my car to Toyota next day and cost me $410 for parts and labor. My Camry is alive. My original problem is still there. I believe BNP should pay for the extra cost. Please don't go to BNP, they know nothing about the car. I don't want you to be next victim. read more

I took my Taco truck to BNP about a year ago after Jiffy Lube totally effed me over. Ratanna and her mechanic took real good care of me. I eventually came back a month later because I knew I had to get the dreaded water pump and timing belt replaced, dun, dun, dunnn! I recently went back to BNP to have them check on something, not to mention get an oil change and surpisingly without even looking at my info on the computer, Ratanna knew who I was, what was done to my truck...and again, it's been about a year since I last saw her! Now, that's awesome! BNP seriously does some quality work at a fair price, if not, cheaper than other shops and majorly cheaper than the Toyota dealership!! But most importantly, Ratanna (who knows her ish about cars, so don't go thinking otherwise just because she's a lady!) is quite honest with the diagnosis and will tell you straight up what needs to get done, what can wait and won't try to swindle you by saying you need to replace XYZ like other car mechanics. These days, it's pretty hard to trust anyone, especially car mechanics, but I can say that isn't my problem anymore! read more

They are definitely a bunch of good guys. I went here once for their wheel alignment because Costco recommended me to them and honestly, they were great. I asked them to keep an eye out on why there was rattling in the front right suspension. They lifted and lowered the car while aligning the car and couldn't figure it out. Then the alignment guy asked some other workers who were on their lunch break and 3 people came to help diagnose the issue. They raised my car and tried solving the issue but they couldn't. Now up to this point they were great. However, once they raised my car, they said I needed new rear brake pads and that they could fix that for me. They forcibly pushed my car up and down and I understand it was to check the suspension but it just looked really ugly. In the end, they saw the issue and noticed that it was the left engine mount that was broken. When I got home, I looked at my rear brake pads and they were perfectly fine. Only 30% used up. Don't get me wrong, they are good people. Just don't walk into their without knowing your car. I can't review them based off of their mechanic work but their alignment work is great. read more

I brought my cars to this shop since the original owner opened it up over 20 years ago. But the old owner finally retired and sold the shop to a new owner. I brought my 2000 Toyota Camry to replace my back and front brakes (including the front rotors) and I spent over $600 for both. I still hear squeaking after several time that I brought my car back. Tim, the owner, tells me that there isn't much he can do because the brakes are safe, and even new car brakes squeak. I took my Camry to two other mechanics, and Tim, the owner, told me that the brake pads were not OEM quality, and I should not have squeaks if the right brake pads were installed. I don't recommend the shop to anyone anymore. read more

Summary: BUYER BEWARE - These guys will overcharge you. The guys here are very friendly and can do basic work but they won't hesitate to take you for a ride if you don't have a sense for how things should be priced. I did an oil change and transmission fluid change and brought all of the necessary parts & fluids. Normally an oil change if you bring your own stuff should be around $15-20. It's a simple drain and fill job. Transmission fluid change should be very similarly priced. Total should be around $30 - $40. These guys quoted me $70. That's just highway robbery. read more

Apparently she sold the business to Tim, who was the main mechanic at the shop all along, so he's been there for many years. There are 3 places that I consider to be the best for Toyota/Lexus maintenance - Yarnell's in Mountain View, Bay City in Milpitas and BNP. I go here for non-routine stuff for my 1997 Lexus, i.e. non-scheduled events such as checking out when the engine light goes on and strut changes. Tim has good pricing and does a good job on diagnosing issues. He even gives me a loaner sometimes when he has to keep the car around for a while. read more

My car had been making a weird whistling noise every time I drove on the highway over 70 mph. I noticed that during my last couple L.A. trips and at first thought it was the tires or due to a wheel bearing problem. So when I was due for another L.A. trip, I took my car to this place to get the problem checked out and in the process, an oil change. when they checked out the problem, Tim (the main guy) told me the problem seemed to be a front brake problem and quoted me about $180. I wasn't sure whether that was a reasonable price so I called a place I used to frequent and trust in L.A. They quoted me $240. I was shocked by the price difference and immediately scheduled an appointment to get it done. While I was on the phone, I was also approached by one of their customers who told me on her way out about how He has been coming here for years. I knew about the many 5-star Yelp reviews but to have someone tell me in person how honest Tim and his crew are made me even more comfortable with coming here. After the brake change, I went off to L.A. and returned to Fremont safely. And I didn't notice any weird noises with my car at all. read more

Been to BNP three times and all three times were a great experience - well, as great as car repair can be! I've been going to Performance Auto, right next door to BNP, for many years. Still recommend the place: Bud is a good guy and honest owner. However, Performance Auto is not open on the weekends anymore. So I've been looking for a new place to get routine maintenance done on my 4 vehicles. After three repairs, I'm sticking with BNP Foreign Auto Clinc. First visit: needed a new front headlight bulb for a 2007 E350 Mercedes. Put it in and charged me $10. Deal! Second visit: Wheels on the same car were not wearing evenly. BNP has a great alignment machine. Mechanic said he was busy, but come back at 1:00. Came back at 1 PM and he diagnosed the issue as needing extensions. However, after the diagnoses, he noticed the extensions were already installed and fully adjusted. There was nothing for him to adjust in the front and the rear tire camber is not adjustable. What did he charge me for this info? Nothing! I gave him a twenty for his time. Deal! Third visit: Took the 2008 ML 350 Mercedes in for an oil change. Tim showed me the rear brake pads were toast. They definitely were and the dealer told me they were heavily worn a year ago. As I was leaving my car there, I mentioned to Tim that the dealer diagnosed a rear brake light harness defect and wanted to replace it for a few hundred dollars. Since the brake lights worked, and only reported an error on the dashboard, I declined to have the dealer fix it. But asked Tim to look at it if he had time. A few hours later, I picked the car up and, you guessed it - they fixed the brake light harness by taping some wires in the harness. Better yet, no charge for the fix :) Deal! I've seen some comments regarding pricing and here is my take: it's about the same as Bud's place, which is about 25% less than the dealer. But, that is just for the routine work performed on oil changes, rotors, and brake pads. The bulb replacement and brake light harness fix - that has saved me hundreds over going to the dealer. Overall, this is an honest shop and it's worth taking your car here for routine repairs and wheel alignment. I suspect they are good for more involved repairs... and with 4 autos, it's only a matter of time before I find out! read more

I have no idea where people are getting the idea that they overcharge you? I started taking my 2002 Toyota Rav4 here last year because my timing belt broke and needed to get it replaced right away. During that time, the owner Tim (really nice guy, btw!) told me that I had my check engine light on due to the catalytic converter needing to be replaced, but I didn't have to worry about it until I needed to get it smogged. Lo and behold, a year later and I needed to get my catalytic converter replaced! I checked 2 other places prior to coming back to Tim at BNP because I wanted to make sure the pricing he gave me was good. The other 2 places I checked was telling me that it would be over $1000 for the part alone! I was like SKIRRRRRT STOP, BACK UP. I wasn't gonna pay over $1000 to replace this stupid thing. I came back on Saturday (10/17/2015) to ask for a quote. I remembered Tim telling me last year it would be $700 for it, but he called the Toyota dealership for the part and they said it was $775, which still isn't a bad price for a brand new catalytic converter. Add $200 for labor and I was sold! I took my car in on Monday (10/19/2015) and it was done by the end of the day. When I came to pick it up, Tim said there was one more thing that needed to be fixed, which was to replace a sensor in the car because it was super bad. He said $219 for the part and he would do the labor for free since I already paid a lot for the catalytic converter. He even lent me a loaner car so I can drive to work today! I came back on my lunch break today (Tuesday 10/20/15) and he was true to his word. He even helped me with my oil because I was a little low so he put some more oil to hold me until I needed an oil change. He didn't even charge me for that! Once I got in my car, it just ran so smooth. I am SUPER happy with the quality of the work Tim did and his integrity. He was so nice and really honest about anything and he wasn't hella pushy the way the other mechanics were when I went to them. I am DEFINITELY going to be taking my car here for any other services I need to have fixed. read more

I had my Lexus towed here. I told him the problem and told him the likely cause was the stuck powered passenger seat. It was stuck all the way to the front so that nobody could sit in there. There was essentially no trouble shooting to be done. He fixed the fuses and then hands me the car without moving the passenger seat to a position that people could sit in there. Neither does he offer a solution until asked! He fixes it with all sorts of additional fees. No calls to say that the car has been fixed. I would avoid this shop - does not provide a solution but does a bare bone fix and surprise charges. Only two good things about this shop: 1. Tim is a personable polite guy and 2. You can always get your car with little wait (wonder why he isn't busier) read more
