Our waitress was really helpful when it came to deciphering what items had dairy/gluten. She had no problems asking the chef first to be sure, which I really appreciated. The chef salad was fantastic! It was true mixed greens instead of iceberg lettuce, and nearly every piece of lettuce was fresh and "good". I've always been a huge fan of a nice local sandwich stop and this place rocks! Kinda has a retro dinner interior and a great outdoor patio. Seat yourself laid back vibe, with a full Bar and service. My bestie and I grabbed a late lunch the other day and because she was craving fried mushrooms we decided to hit up Hub Stacey's and we left very satisfied. I'm a creature of habit and always get a reuben at places like this in an attempt to find the best one in town and so far this is still my leader. The meat and toppings are stacked, it's perfectly toasty without being too hard and it's just a good bite. 8/10. The fried okra was good, standard fare, nothing exciting or innovative but delicious no complaints. 8/10. The appetizer sampler didn't look like much when it came out but it was more than enough for the two of us. I can't speak to the mushrooms but she seemed to really enjoy them and the accompanying horseradish sauce was incredible. The pickles and corn nuggets were very yummy and were perfectly cooked. No complaints! Oh and the ranch is pretty good too. Overall 7/10. Our food did come before our appetizer but that's okay we couldn't have been bothered by that we planned to eat it all together at the same time anyway, but it is worth noting just in case that's a concern for someone. We both impulsively got bushwackers, and honestly I wasn't expecting much because it was 5:00 p.m. on a Tuesday and they were seven bucks but they were yummy and had a strong pour. We really enjoyed the. 9/10. The two employees that we interacted with were nice but not over the top. Our waitress kind of just left us alone and that suited us just fine. All in all we had a great afternoon catching up, enjoyed our food, enjoyed our drink and pet everyone's dogs. You just really can't complain about that! This is my 2nd time getting take out from here while on a work trip. The food is amazing every time and the portion sizes are so generous. I could barely eat all my food. I ordered the Alcaniz (chicken salad sandwich on a pita) with a side of their famous potato salad. I absolutely loved both. The chicken salad is phenomenal and the pita was cooked perfectly. Service took a little bit longer than expected to initially get an order in, but once the order was taken, the food was brought out at a decent time. Stopped with the family after a long day at the beach. It is a local favorite bar with a vast selection of sandwiches and burgers to choose from. Tuesdays are customer appreciation day with happy hour all day. Delicious house margaritas and cheap drafts made for a pleasant surprise. Everything was delicious. We had wings, chicken tenders, Cuban, and BBQ cheddar burger. Onion rings, fries, salad, and potato salad were as equally delicious. If you're looking for an awesome local place outside of the expensive tourist traps, make sure you stop here for excellent, reasonably priced food and a nice, chill bar scene. The waiters were just rude and slow. There was an order of wings and they came in too spicy after asking if they were spicy at all and the waitress when I asked if they could bring me plain ones with bbq on the side instead just looked at me took the wings in front of me and threw them on the garbage. Went to order a hamburger too and asked for it to be medium rare and they told me it could not be done because they pre cook the burgers on the morning and then reheat in the afternoon. They were sharing tables and the information about drink orders, more than once, was lost in translation. I did like the menu options and prices, but the food was very salty. When our meals were brought out, they were pretty much tossed on the table with haste and the waitress turned and abruptly left. We said no salt on our margarita, the waitress repeated it, it came out with salt. She did offer to pour it into another glass, meaning the drink would still have had the salt. Flies were bad from the door opening and closing. This just wasn't my favorite place for a lot of reasons. read more

It was too perfect - loaded with Creole shrimp salad, sprouts, lettuce and tomato. The lager went well with the sandwich, cold and refreshing. The sandwiches are fantastic as well and can be split with additional sides for a small upcharge. Only issue with seating is that service seems to be slower when sitting outside. Otherwise, the service is prudent and tends to needs of the patrons in an efficient manner. Party of eight wasn't an issue for them. Service was very good and courteous. A typical bar/restaurant with a large assortment of pub grub, Hub Stacey's will scratch that particular itch when you want cold beer, mediocre food, and a place to hang out with friends. The food is the only thing I had a problem with. It WAS very mediocre. We started with two orders of the appetizer sampler. I was really looking forward to the fried stuffed jalapeños. They were obviously factory made and pre-frozen, which was fine, but the jalapeño had a weird pickle to it. The fried mushrooms, corn nuggets, and mozzarella sticks were of expected quality. I ordered the trio salad with a scoop of tuna salad, chicken salad, and shrimp salad. This was served on. Bed of chopped iceberg and had a few tomato and cucumber slices tossed around. The salads were not good and I only finished the shrimp salad. Others around me ordered the BLT, which came on super thin bread and needed more tomato and salt. The Cuban was ordered by several at the table and was reported to be fine. Finally, another ordered the Terragona. The smoked turkey tasted cheap and the sandwich wasn't very good. We ate and paid. I'd likely come back, but would keep my focus on wings and burgers, as those seem to be the better offerings. read more
