I have gained improved mental health , friends and relationships that have truly changed me. I am now an instructor and I have my own aqua pool classes. Being a newbie, he was very informative, guided me around and showed me what to do, and even tailored my routine since I'm new. Before you join, you get three free sessions to help you decide whether you want to join or not. This place offers an early morning session and two late afternoon/early evening sessions, which makes fitting this into my schedule really easy. The people in my session were very friendly and made me feel even more comfortable. I still have two of the free sessions left, but after the experience I had today, I'm pretty certain I'll be joining!

Super convenient location with friendly staff. Clean, newer facility. Everything I observed was in great working condition. Even though there were always several people here, there was plenty of equipment and it didn't feel crowded. Loved the women's locker room and it was clean and ready to use. Like all gyms on Wright-Patt is is open to Active Duty, Retirees and dependents. It does not have as much equipment as the other two gyms on base. There is also a 1/4 mile outdoor track. The weight machines are totally different but they have enough to focus on whatever area you wish to work on. Some of the equipment looked older than what the other facilities have but some also looked newer. The gym is usually less crowed than the other two gyms which means no waiting for equipment.

The staff is extremely attentive, the coaches are very knowledgeable and the organization is top notch. To top it all off, the other athletes in the gym are very welcoming and hospitable. I actually visited during the 2017 CrossFit Open was even encouraged to do my workouts at their weekly Friday Night Lights event (held during the open). The gym most definitely pays attention to maintenance. The weights that they do have are pretty great. My biggest issue is that they are missing some machines. I have not found anything for calves (PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE correct me if I am wrong) but there are a number of machines for chest. They also seem to be missing free weights. Again, please let me know if I am missing them. They have a nice out-of-the-way area for sit ups or stretching (not the most well-kept). They also offer classes, which I eventually would love to partake of. Locker rooms are old but well kept. They have a rule that says those with children over 10 years of the opposite sex must use an alternate changing area. Honestly? I think it should be over the age of 5 or 6. I really don't care to change in front of a 7 year old boy and I think the experience would likely be traumatic for the little one. I have never seen a little one in there though so I am not sure that it happens all that frequently. Overall, this is a great place to work out! Need a work out buddy?
