The receptionists were prompt, kind and courteous. Signing in process was user friendly via iPad . Waiting area was nice and clean. Dental Assistant was very professional and accommodating, informing me what to expect before and after my procedure. Jia-Chun Dai, DDS was caring and numbed my gums accordingly. I was really upset with the appointment today 6/9/2020. First of all, I understand the operation of medical office from the administrative side because of my job. I called the Hudec office two weeks ago for cleaning and regular check up. They scheduled me for the appointment today. They said that this will take about 2 hours which would work for me. I came to the office twenty minutes before the appointment to give plenty of the time for the paperwork, etc. The dental assistant took my temperature apon coming. I was given few paperwork to fill out, and one of them stated whether I was willing to pay extra to have my own gowns, caps, gloves. I did not want to pay for the extra amount, so I checked "no, I will accept the risk." (there was yes and no option). There was no further explanation for that. I was asked to come into the patient chair at my scheduled appointment time. They took my x-ray and took a look, and said "by the way, there is no hygienist today, so you should come back for this." I was immediately sent back without a dentist examining my teeth. There was even no visual inspection. Then, the receptionist told me that I have to pay $4 for all the staffs to prepare for PPE. Here, I am upset for multiple reasons: 1) the receptionist told me that there will be cleaning, but there was no correction of the information given prior to the appointment. I took my precious time off work in order to make to the appointment. 2) there was no proper dental exam while this is a necessary part of "physical exam." They should not be able to BILL for the service to my insurance because this crucial step was missed. 3) they were going to charge me $4 for PPE prep for COVID for each patient to come in. First of all, these should be the charges that the dental office should take from the government stimulus check/ SBA/ aid that they would have received, not from the patients. Also, they were gonna have me come back just for cleaning - that means they were gonna charge me $8 for what was supposed to be free after insurance coverage? I work at a medical office and I have never known an office that directly charges patients. In our office, we give out masks if they don't have one, and we do not charge them because we know patients are FIRST. I told the receptionist, " I will never come back so please do not send the reminder." Her reply was "What? You are saying that just for $4?" That piece of conversation just showed how unprofessional the staffs are in terms of their manner with patients. If you believe that it is just $4, please do not charge patients for that. I am giving one star, and I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. This is such as "business oriented" "patients last" place that is unethical and unprofessional. I should have read all the negative reviews more closely, but now I regret. I really hope that this place will pay attention to the negative reviews and make all positive changes necessary in order to be a patient-centered, professional dental office. read more

I have gone to the same family dentist my whole life and just switched to Hudec today and couldn't have made a better decision! They were so thorough and welcomed all of my questions and shared lots of dental tips that I never knew about. Not to mention, I work downtown Cleveland, and this was less than a three minute drive from work, so it was super convenient! I have already had an initial check up and just finished my first appointment and am very glad to say that the front desk, dentist, and technicians are very thorough. Everyone is very polite, professional, and welcoming, especially Milena at the front desk. She makes all of the paperwork a breeze to get through and has such a wonderful way of making you feel when you walk through the door. Dr. Yarovitsky saw me at my initial check up and knew right away what my issues were. A plan was quickly created for my issues with a break down of costs. I came in today with Jessica working on my teeth and she did an amazing job of making sure I was comfortable and answering all of the questions I had. Even better the establishment is down the street from where I live! So it's super convenient. I do have more appointments coming up in the near future and am excited for my next visit. Had to come in about a week and a half ago because of a tooth infection, and wasn't looking forward to it - I've had fear of dental offices since childhood. After consulting with the dental hygienist, Sandra Pierce, I was put more at ease about what my possible options were. She explained everything thoroughly & was very knowledgable about her trade. Once my X-rays were taken, and an appointment was made for the extraction, I was nervous again, though. She ensured me that the procedure would go smoothly and I had nothing to worry about. When I came in for the procedure, the dentist, Ms. Vasquez (I believe that's the proper spelling) greeted me with a smile and, as Ms. Pierce said, the extraction went smooth and I didn't really feel a thing. Wish my previous experiences with dentists went as well as this one! I highly recommend them!!! read more

So , I'm rating my dentist. A couple of things. This dentist seems to cater to families, kids and Chinese people. They have Chinese / and English speaking employees. All the employees are professional and exceptional. They seem to be no nonsense. Myself and my wife have been here a quite a bit. Cleaning is painful sometimes because my teeth are worn. I take something good at home before I go , that and the oral shots they give does a great job. I consider myself lucky to find them. The wife's happy , so I am too. I'd be very happy if they had some old school teeth treatments options, that are cheaper then the new treatments like Arestin. Which are expensive. read more
