Idk about service, can't make any remark on that. But I can tell you, if you see a van with this company logo on it, and it has that cartoon appliance on it, keep your eyes peeled. I wouldn't come here for one incident. But today is the 3rd time I've seen one of their vans driving absolutely nuts. Completely unsafe lane changes, speeding, and using mobile devices. Certainly this doesn't speak to the company, but they are liable for who they allow to represent them especially when they have the logo blasted on the side of a van. read more

My fridge has been leaking water. I contacted Mr. Hudson based on his Yelp reviews. I texted him and filled out the form on his website. He texted me back within a couple of hours and we scheduled an appointment for the next day. He came on time, was polite, professional, and didn't even mind when my dog got away from me while I was trying to put him (the dog) in a different room and managed to do some friendly sniffing . The job required Mr. Hudson to take apart half the fridge, but he did it quickly and efficiently, and even made sure that this kind of a leak would never happen again. His rate was very reasonable. I waited all day for Michael to show up to change my dishwasher. It snowed during the night so he said he wouldn't get there until around noon. Well noon came and he didn't show. He then said between 1:00 - 5:00. Well 5:00 came and no calls or texts. I called him and left a message. He didn't call me back. I have been in the HVAC service industry since 1985. I would never leave a customer just waiting not knowing what is going on. In my opinion they are unreliable and unprofessional. If he knew he couldn't make it because of the snow, he should have canceled in the morning or at least keep me informed on where he is and when he will be here. I highly recommend Joe. My LG washer had an error code and my husband and I thought that the water pump was broken. I texted Joe and he had that part on his van. Joe was able to come on Monday and fix it first thing in the morning. Sure enough, it turned out that a piece of the water pump had broken off. Joe is efficient and an expert at fixing my LG washer. He spent maybe five minutes and declared the condenser needed to be replaced. He said it would cost over $1K and probably couldn't get the part and repair until a month later. Said I would get back to him. I needed a refrigerator today so I went to a local used appliance repair shop to buy something to tied me over. The owner checked out my refrigerator when delivering the used on the next day. He told me it wasn't the condenser. I don't know why Hudson didn't want to fix my refrigerator for me, but I'll never call this place again. I recommend Gianelli's in Rancho Cordova. I called Zajic today (Saturday) because my old Jenn Air fridge was not cooling. They didn't have anyone available so they unhesitatingly gave me Joe's name and number. I called Joe and he told me he'd be at my house in two or three hours and would call first. Around two hours later he called and showed up. He was clean, professional and friendly. Most importantly he passed the "repairman honesty test" I'd found online for this particular problem. Rather than try to sell me a compressor, he shook the compressor run relay (a $60 part) which rattled indicating that it was broken. He went and got one off his truck, happily gave us time to clean up the filth that had accreted to the floor, popped in the new part and plugged the fridge back in. The compressor started immediately and he pushed the fridge back in place. He charged me his standard service call fee plus the part and tax. The whole thing cost me about a twentieth of replacing the fridge. I have his magnet on my fridge and he will now be my go-to guy for all appliance repairs. I heartily recommend him. We never had the chance to experience Joe's "professional service" because; 1.) Either Angie's List failed to forward our acknowledgement to Joe's confirmation he was available on a Thursday, or 2.) The did forwarded it to him and he lost it. We never heard from him again until that Thursday whenin it was necessary for me to leave him a phone message AND at text message asking when he was to arrive for our appointment. I'll give him credit that he did return the call, but he said, "... he never got my response, he's booked all day Thursday and Friday, and that he's going on vacation the follow week." I had an issue with an old washing machine in my rental. Joe responded quickly and fixed the problem during the first visit, having the necessary parts with him to do so. I then asked Joe if he could convert a clothes dryer to propane while he was here (I already had the conversion kit) and Joe proceeded to convert this appliance during his visit here and only charged me for the extra time is took to do the conversion. A month later, the washing machine again stopped working and I called Joe. Joe came out, as usual, on time and checked out the machine. He showed me that the problem was a different one from the first one he fixed and showed me how to get the machine operating for the next few months I need it rather than charging me over $100 for parts on a machine I will not be using 3 months from now. Joe did not charge me for this service call, even though he had every right to. Very refreshing to find a reliable, punctual, knowledgeable and honest person like Joe.
