Bruce is fantastic. He was assigned to me through AHS (after I rejected the first contractor they'd assigned me [AT Appliance] that I had a very bad experience with) to repair my refrigerator. He called the next morning with bad news: He was booked for a month! Oh no! But then he spent 15 minutes explaining to me how I could self-repair the problem -- work that would either fix the problem entirely or nurse me along until he could get to me. I did the work, not sure yet if it's a permanent fix, but his effort and detail in explaining to me what the likely problem was and how to fix it blew me over. Cal-Pro was assigned by my home warranty (American Home Shield) after I read a horrific review of the 1st vendor they assigned me (AT Appliances). Bruce (owner of Cal-Pro) texted me we arranged time for his visit via texting and 15 min before scheduled time he confirmed w/another text. When he arrived he diagnosed my "frig" within minutes. By this happening over xmas holiday he knew this needed to be handled and submitted to AHS quickly. Bruce is very genuine and honest. I called him for GE dishwasher repair. He was available and came to my home same day but before he planned to start the work he asked me if you have GE Monogram model and if it it is installed less than 2 years as GE gives 2 year standard warranty only in Monogram models instead of 1 year. I didn't know that nor the GE customer care rep I called before. I called GE again and yes Monogram is covered for 2 years. Cal-Pro Factory Service was professional and efficient in fixing our KitchenAid washer. Bruce was great!! Because our washer is about 17+ years old, the agitate/spin cycle stopped working. It seemed like a lost cause, but his experience and going that extra mile made a huge difference.
