I have been w/ HHHN since 2013 or so. I started getting very ill & my primary didnt care to figure out what it was, just kept throwing pills at me. She got angry that I wouldn't let it go & poopoo'd every idea. She refused my request for physical therapy because she didn't think I would do the work. I ended up finding a new doctor within the network whom I thought the world of. He was a newer doctor, they hadn't crushed his Hope & want to help people yet. I've seen him for 8 years or so but it's gotten to the point I can't actually see him. Reception is great, some nurses are great, some are quite rude, cut you off, act like you should be honored that they are taking you blood pressure (around the elbow, not kidding) The nurses that triage the portal have been awful lately, I get that they need to save the doctor time but many times they have written back and not bothered to address my question. I turned out to have multiple chronic illnesses, you know, all the ones the first doctor poo poo'd, I also ended up in the hospital because of her crappy care. At my appointment, I was pissed but I hardly say a thing when I'm mad, I did say a couple things that I totally own. But when I got my care report it was like the doctor and I were at two different appointments. He said I was irate but he said the reason was over having to take a urine screen, that makes no sense, I was there for my controlled medicine check, you always get screened. he always typed in and put in quotations a bunch of things that I did not say. if I didn't know what really happneed & only read this (which goes to the next doctor) I would think this person was a drug seeker and picture this huge scene happening. no one's voice raised. As another reviewer wrote, if I could, I would give zero stars. My latest experience (it's been a couple of years since my last interaction with Hudson Headwaters) was less than worthless. In the exam room, I waited for 2 hours while attendants came in and looked for stuff in cabinets and gave me no attention. A nurse did finally come in after 2 hours, checked the cut on my finger that had brought me to urgent care because of tingling up my arm and checked my reflexes. She said she'd get a doctor to look at it. About 25 minutes later, a doctor came in, looked briefly at my finger, and said it was OK. That was it. When I got to the check-out and asked for my bill and the summary of the visit which I'd been told I would be given, I was told there was no summary and no charge. (I figured that was because so little had been done.) But around 10 days later, I got an online bill for $273! When I called the number I was told to call for billing or insurance issues, I called--left an extended message--and got no return call for 24 hours! Today I opened the HH email again and see that I owe nothing--but no explanation of their error. I am not even sure whether I actually DO owe nothing (my usual insurance copay is $25). I received a nasty-gram from Hudson Hellwaters for being upset about the poor standard of care I receive from them. It is not MY fault they continually move appointments and put me with people I do not know, getting to see my primary maybe once every two years. -And now, they have withheld my blood pressure medication for FIVE DAYS, despite a prescription renewal request being submitted well in advance. AVOID THIS OUTFIT AT ALL COSTS. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR PATIENTSA, AS IS REINFORCED EVERY TIME i HAVE TO CONTACT THEM. read more

I've run into skepticism regarding my report of symptoms -- probably because I have psychiatric disorders, I'm not believed. it's disturbing. the care varies widely between whoever you land with. but they are great in providing emergency care. sometimes they are responsive and caring. I received excellent while at the Urgent Care location at Broad Street in Glens Falls. The staff were all professional and the wait time was in a timely manner. The provider on was very thorough and all of my medical needs were met. My primary Dr. Is at the LaRose Street location in Glens Falls. The staff there is also very professional and friendly. My provider is excellent in meeting my health care needs. I recommend both offices. read more

I have been trying to view my MRI images from 8/2/19 for like two years now,I had an ultrasound after my accident with a grinder in my forearm,the Dr called the damage in my forearm preexisting,lol,I had a running hand held grinder in my forearm,I was cutting through a block wall with a diamond tipped blade and got careless and had an accident,well two days later I had an MRI and unbelievable it was unremarkable,where did this so called preexisting condition go ,this is so crazy, criminal is what I call it,so I have an advocate call and see if I can view my copy of MRI,they tell me they can't do it lol ,from my understanding they do have the PACS SYSTEM, picture archiving communication system,has anyone had a Dr from Carey rd review there MRI images with them ,these drs are criminal, don't go there read more

my experience here was unlike any other. From the nurse, to the doctor, I was in awe of the amount of professionalism. I am the lady that comes in, refusing any invasive recommendations or treatments for my self and my children. I have been mocked and Judge for years in the medical industry. I avoid hospitals, urgent, care centers, and even pcp's due to a lack of respect for my beliefs and decisions. This place was a complete turnaround for me! I came in because my three week old daughter had a cold, and my other two daughters were not exposed to illness so early in life. It was concerning for me, even though I anticipated it being very uncomfortable. To begin, the nurse "Jess" was in training and my first real interaction, and it was such a comforting one. I was respected and finally not looked down on for the first time. The doctor came in shortly after, "Dr. McDonough." nurses referred to him as "Jimmy" and Although my interaction with the nurse was great, I still had doubts of my interaction with the doctor. He turned out to be unlike any other doctor I've been around. I felt praised for my natural approach. I had concerns about my daughter's cough, and rather than just prescribing her something, he asked questions on my care for her and the remedies I had been implementing. He told me I was doing everything right and she looks and sounds great. It was very reassuring that I had been doing the right things for her. overall, it was a great experience, and all of my anxiety was lifted. God bless the staff who helped me :) read more

I called in a script for Novolog last week. I go to pick it up this morning and they didn't have it. The said they tried to get a new script from my doctor on 8/5, 8/8 and 8/9, but never got one. I wrote an email to the clinic. No answer after hours of waiting. I called them and left a message. After 3 hours, I get an email. "You need to have blood work done". I already had it done in MAY, and told them that. They sent the new script to my doctor for approval. Tonight I went to pick it up, and nothing there. They never heard from the doctor. I called the clinic and spoke to urgent care. They called in a new script to another store as my store was closed. I waited a half hour and called to see if it was ready. Store closed! They changed their hours. Sitting here with NO Novolog. Disgusting system! read more

I love the doctors here they are all sweet and helpful I suggest they hire some front desk staff with better attitudes though thankfully they don't see primary care there anymore so I can see my doctor with better staff. read more

I have gone here for years now. The care is very thorough. My Physician Assistant is more thorough than I could ever ask for. They have guided my health successfully even though I have many different issues. I haven't had any problems with billing, not so sure what is up with some of these reviews. read more

Went in because I was very sick and they couldn't figure out what was wrong, so they told me to come back in a couple weeks if it hadn't blown over and that I wouldn't be charged. A few weeks later I went back and I let them know what they had previously said about not being billed a second time and they went along with it. I just received a second bill in the mail and called to get it fixed and they told me I must pay it. Ridiculous. read more

Great service , the care was above and beyond what I had expected . The PA I saw was caring , easy to talk to , and even called me later that day with more information pertaining to my issue. I could not be happier with my visit. Front desk is front desk... But the from the nursing staff to the lab techs - all just wonderful !!! These people triple billed me, not only did they bill my two insurance companies (one is primary and the other secondary) but they actually charged me FOR THE SAME DAYS that my insurance companies paid for. I had correspondence via emails and then phone calls that the accounting dept told me that I didn't have to worry about the bills but then they sent my bills to a collections agency. I explained to collections agency that my primary and secondary insurance companies already paid for these days of service but of course collection agencies don't care about details. Needless to say I sent my bills and insurance claims to HHHN and they researched my account and apologized and called collections and took me off but I don't know if this has had a permanent scar on my credit rating. I hope not. I also called each insurance company to let them know that the days they paid were already paid by the other. I left it up to them but I don't think that this is legal. Just make sure that every service is accounted for and get receipts. read more

I cannot recommended this place for urgent care. Went here after having stomach flu symptoms for 10 days. Which is far beyond the normal 3-4 days a stomach flu always lasts. When the PA came into the room she immediately told me I should not be taking Nexium and told me I needed to eat more fruits and vegetables. I explained to her that I have been on Nexium for 14 years and 3 different MD's who were much more qualified than her felt I should be on Nexium. I further explained my symptoms having nothing to do with Nexium or my diet. She did order stool samples after my insisting which I brought myself to the hospital the next day for testing. After 7 days and not feeling any better at all. Literally liquid diarrhea 8-12 times a day for 17 days and throwing up mixed in with with severe ABD pain and nausea. I emailed her directly through the HHHN portal to see why no one told me about my lab results. They turned out to be negative. At 18 days I had eaten a plain turkey and bread sandwich and threw it up 35 minutes later and passed out on the bathroom floor. Rushed by ambulance to the ER at Glens Falls Hospital. Was admitted to the hospital within an hour of being in the ER for pancreatitis. Lipase levels according to ER doctor were off the charts and at a critical level. Thank you Glens Falls Hospital for figuring out what was wrong in under an hour. I looked up the PA on HHHN website and it says that specialized in holistic medicine. Why would you have a PA working in a urgent care setting with those credentials? read more

Hudson Headwaters is an incredible boon to the North Country, upstate NY. I have been a very grateful patient of Lynn Keil for years and have had consistently good heath care from all of the staff. Lynn and her nurse Sara are always there to help and even try to fit in a last minute crisis appt. The HHHN staff are thoughtful, considerate and follow thru with scheduling referrals. I only wish that HHHN would open another dental clinic since the only one is in Warrensburg and appts must be booked months ahead. Dr Keissel is an excellent dentist and the dental hygienists do a great job. So I have nothing but praise for Hudson Headwaters. I am from Queensbury NY, not San Francisco (as listed). read more

A very hostile work environment from the top down. Administrative staff are condescending and so are many of the healthcare providers. There is no professional respect given to the nurses by the providers. Unless of course you are a favorite. If you willingly leave their employ they will not hire you back, vindictive behavior is systemic. Much drama at the top that trickles down to front line staff. If you can get your healthcare elsewhere. Go there. These physicians will not do anything for you. You have to go back multiple times and many of my complaints were addressed as its nothing to worry about, or you do not need this tests. Do we know our own bodies or do they/ Just run and find another place if you can. read more

Ive been to HHHN many times and I rate it 10% competent, 60% incompetence and 30% dangerous. 15 minutes and 2 symptoms off a Dr.'s head don't do it. Their new brochure is utter crap. I go in for my regular CFS blood work, Hep c, lithium and liver and kidney tests. I get these from the CDC. DR. Bergin put the list in a file and scheduled a mammogram. ONCE I was dizzy for 5 days and called Dr Corey's office. She was off and the nurse asked for info and came back very upset. She said covering doc wants me to go to Albany Neuro ASAP. she'd send referral. Next day, no referral, next day none, so I called Dr. Corey's office. I was told she cancelled referral without calling to see if I was OK. I went in to see a reumatologist listed as Glens Falls Best Reumatologist. He typed my symptoms, asked no questions, took no tests. He closed his notebook and said I have CFS and he can't help me as he walked off. These places are for cuts and scrapes, that's it. read more
