IMO, this small humble chain reigns supreme and does so for some very specific core reasons. First of all, the equipment is plentiful and extremely well maintained. Although I haven't been a member for very long, it all appears to be basically new. Also of utmost importance is cleanliness. Any time I've ever been there staff has been actively cleaning, making sure that everything is orderly and sparkling. Not sure about the rest of fitness aficionados but to me, cleanliness is as important as equipment, if not more so. Being open 24 hours is certainly a benefit but I've never really taken advantage of it. Nice to know that if someone works an off hours vocation, a comprehensive workout in a clean facility can be had any hour of the day or night. Staff is also more than friendly and quite attentive to the needs of their membership. In my fitness tenure I've literally been a member of a dozen or more gyms including New York Sports, Crunch, Retro and a bunch of others. Of them all, this small independent provides the most bang for your buck and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to get into shape or maintain whatever awesomeness they've previously attained. Not worth the price…read more We were charged 30 dollars per person for a 45 minute tube float that was advertised as 2 hours. The tubes were very dirty and of poor quality, as was the shuttle. The really frustrating part was that the owner lied to us about where the public accesses are when there is one beside their establishment and the place we were dropped off was public as well. We had our own inflatable kayak that was easy to transport and having heard that there were no nearby accesses we asked if there was any way that we could use our own and take their shuttle and they refused. The river was very slow and was not at all like a rapid it was more of a lazy river. The only positive thing about this experience was our shuttle driver who was honest with us about the access and was very kind.
