Moving along, went to the store on a busy Saturday afternoon, and there was indeed a great selection of clothes that i was in search of. The downside is that the dressing rooms don't have a seat inside and due to a knee injury i had to wait a long time for the only stall to become available. The dressing room area is extremely busy and the staff appeared overwhelm with the consumption of clothes left behind by customers. The space in the store is good, nothing appears cluttered or scattered and the floors are kept clean. Needed to use the restroom and that is also an area that only has one per gender and the lines become a bit much. Due to the restrooms overuse it definitely requires additional cleaning to maintain it clean and stocked with toiletries. Overall ok experience, I was not asked if I needed assistance by a staff member.

Shoes are at a discounted price compared to the original retailer, which is what is so good about coming to DSW! They also have many perks and offers almost every day! I know they always have good perks like a free canvas tote bag or book bag if you buy a certain amount of shoes. Many discounts when holidays are near and a 2X points accumulator offer on certain days. The shoes are self serve and have many sizes stocked up for you to grab and try. You don't need to ask for a stores associate to get you a pair and they have many stools with mirrors for you to check how the shoes go on your feet. They also have those used once socks if you don't have socks. I recently bought a pair of 408 new balance sneakers in white and blue and they look amazing. Thankfully I bought them in the store because they were sold out online! They also got some cool adidas styles that in fashion. My wife found Mr. Maksoud's. At first I was a bit hesitant, but gave it a shot. The place is exactly what I like. Small, the smell of leather and shoe polish that greets you upon entering. Shoes and handbags strewed about. And in the middle of it all is George. Positive, quick with witty retorts, and busy working. He put new heels on a pair of old Cole Haan boots, that I wasn't ready to let go of. George even said they are nice and worth keeping. After about 9 days, I returned to pick them up. The work was great and the price was excellent. 40 dollars. Other places in the area would have charged double. I'm so glad my wife found this place. George also makes keys.

The bag had well over a decade of use, as well as nostalgic memories too. I had an accident a few months ago when an unexpected gale force wind threw me 15 feet from the sidewalk into the street and into the path of oncoming rush-hour traffic. I was clutching my bag at the time but it was ripped away by the strong wind and suffered damage. I survived but needed an emergency hip replacement --and the bag survived too thanks to George who repaired the holes and restored the leather to such beauty!
