A friend brought the sea salt caramels to our job, and I have never had such a wonderful caramel in my life!

So glad there a local chocolate shop and be wanting to try here after having some of there products from a candy store they ship to in beacon. Amazing chocolate truffles and very affordable as well. Service was so super nice and offered suggestions on what's good. Plus a finally note, they are open late every day til 8pm. Most chocolate and candy places would be open so late, so a great place for your chocolate fix. read more

My husband bought a box of 24 chocolates for my birthday. He told me that the owner was very nice - which is a plus for me. Then we started tasting the chocolates... and we couldn't stop! They were so beautiful made and presented, and each of them different!! We ate half of the box in 5 minutes. I'm trying very hard not to eat the rest of them all by myself today! Beautiful old fashioned chocolate shoppe. Very clean and gorgeous candy made on site. Very friendly staff where you can be so tempted as I was to buy a vast array of delicious sweets made by very nice people. Perfect for birthday gifts as I got some Dark chocolate covered Rice Krispie treats & Oreos , just to name a few of the vast choices . Right in our own backyard , so delicious!! read more

Hand crafted, delicious, and tons of choices to please everyone. One of the many benefits to shopping local is that places such as this can offer an unbeatable product at an amazing price. This place, I can't even describe it without wanting to drive back to Wallkill. A really hard working French trained chocolatier put her heart and soul in this business and you know it from the first bite. She's a sweetheart too and helps you decide or put gift packages together. I love the chocolate dipped rice crispy sticks. She had incredible variety but I always need a few of those. Stephanie is amazing! I fell in love with her chocolates in 2016 at the chocolate festival and every since then I only order chocolates from her. Every year I get chocolates to gift my staff for Christmas and they always look forward to it! Prices are reasonable especially for the quality of the chocolates. The packaging is really cute too! She always ships quickly and makes sure her products are cautiously wrapped so they don't break! If you haven't tried her chocolate, you are really missing out. I suggest trying the dark chocolate fruit/nut bar! It's one of my favorites! As a side note: I have a few coworkers who are gluten/dairy free and she even has chocolate for them! Holy crap. As I sit 'working from home' due to this Covid-19 mayhem I can't tell you how grateful I am for being introduced to HV Chocolates by my favorite winery Glorie Farms a few weeks ago. I've been trying to support one local business everyday and I am so glad this was one of them. I placed an order and intended on picking it up on my way home from a quick stop at my job. As luck wld have it I had to stay longer than expected and the store was closing before I cld get there. I let who I am assuming is the owner know and she asked where I live. When she found out it was in the town next to hers she offered to drop it off. So nice of her!! I ordered a small box of assorted chocolates bc I recognized them from what I had sampled at Glorie. I'm not usually a dark chocolate fan but every piece was perfection. I feel like you can taste the love the chocolatier puts into it. I'm trying to eat what I bought slowly but it's only been two days and I've had about 5 days worth lol The other thing I tried was a pretzel rod dipped in caramel and chocolate- heavenly!!! By far one of the best chocolate tasting experiences I've had in a long time and I've only myself to blame for not experiencing it sooner. I travel past this tiny shop from Pine Bush to Beacon daily and for some reason or the other had never stopped. Really, WOWED by Stephanie's presentation, it's art and it's definitely delicious. Also love the loyalty of her customer base. A customer offered me one of his truffles as soon as he heard I was a newbie and he couldn't say enough about the chocolates and the woman behind it. Needless to say, I'm a fan and this is now my chocolate spot. More chocolate, please. read more

Received the perfect gift/care package from my sister & her husband all the way west to San Diego area. The chocolates survived east coast to west coast shipping without travel incident. The chocolates are superior in every way possible, including flavor and texture. My absolute favorite is the milk chocolate caramel covered apple which is insanely delicious, especially with the salty flavorful caramel.... Now, if I could just do a side by side taste test of the dark chocolate caramel covered apple to the milk chocolate caramel covered apple, I might find true happiness & taste bud utopia!
