Cute spot, got the lychee fruit tea while waiting for the trolley. Nice balance of sweet and bitter. Will come back and try the food next time I'm over here.

Such a great addition to the area! This cafe is walking distance to Clark Park and St Joe's (formerly known as University of the Sciences- my alma mater) so we stopped by for a treat before going to the park. The inside is super cute and the owner and her daughters are very friendly and welcoming. We had the iced coffee with condensed milk (with option for strong or medium coffee), special Vietnamese pandan waffle, banh mi, and the Hue Signature Boba Special (taro bubble tea with crystal boba). The banh mi and the waffle were so much better than we expected. The banh mi was very authentic: toasted baguette loaded with meat and included pate (which most places don't include). The waffle came with strawberries, blueberries and fresh coconut. The strong iced coffee was perfect to wash everything down with. I wish I can give a review for the Taro Boba drink but my son drank it before I can even have a sip (so it's gotta be good). I wish something like this was available when I was in school here but I will definitely be back each time we are in the area!

Yum, so glad to have boba in the neighborhood. Double check that they have understood your order, as language is sometimes (understandably) misunderstood. I think they are aware of the issue and took time to go over the order before making anything.

Upon walking in I was met with smiling faces of the staff. The soft instrumental music was soothing and helped calm my anxiety as I ordered. They completely u DERGs todo my anxiety and we're patient which was lovely to see. The drink itself was gorgeous and after a good mix was delicious. It wasn't too sweet and was made with quality matcha, earthy but not grassy and with and ending tone of the strawberry to round the flavor. The sitting area is quiet and comfy which begs a return visit for sure. There is a piano and guitar which either alludes me to they have live music or they allow others to come and play. Either of those options gives off good vibes. In conclusion, give this place a visit if you need a moment to yourself as I did. It's so worth it! I will be a return customer! My only thing holding me back from a five star is COFFEE milk tea which I didn't see on the menu but I'm sure I will at some point as they have changing flavors!

Halfway drunk chocolate matcha latte with lychee jelly topping. Yummy

Humble family run establishment. Good selection of drinks and inexpensive. They ran a buy 2 drinks get 1 free promotion but was a bit much for me. Still nice. Yummy.

It was really interesting to be able to try two Tea Do Philly locations in the span of two days,…read morebut good news, guys. We found this one to be better than the one in Chinatown! So fascinating. I thought I was going to have to rough it out through another green coconut drink in order to compare these two locations properly, but it turns out this location doesn't even have green coconut as an option (which is what I got at the other location- spoiler, I would not recommend)! This was the first green flag, and it only got better from there. Even though I love special, unique drinks as much as the next person, I think you gotta have that good old fashioned bubble tea staple store that just serves everything all in one place. I'm talking whatever you're craving, whatever flavors you want at any given point in time, they'll have it. And Tea Do is just that: their menu is huge and extensive, and you're bound to find something that you feel like having. We ordered (rating): Sakura Rose Milk Tea with Boba (3.7/5), The Grasshopper (3.5/5), The Hulk (4/5), Oolong Milk Tea with Boba (4.2/5), Jasmine Milk Tea with Boba (5/5) I got their sakura rose milk tea which was one of their recommended drinks. I wouldn't say I get rose milk teas a lot, but I'd say this was one of the better ones I've had because both the rose and the tea parts of the drink stood out on their own! Some years ago I compared components of boba drinks to main and side characters, so I am thrilled that we have two main characters here. On the other end, though, this tea did lean more watery rather than creamy. What did stay consistent across the two stores was the boba, which comes a bit softer than our ideal texture, but the sweetness of the sugar that they must have steeped these boba in definitely shined through. I wouldn't say they tasted like brown sugar boba, but my sister says that they did; point being that you'll get some kind of sugary taste and isn't that all you really need to know?

The menu was a bit overwhelming in its presentation--it seemed a bit like there were different offerings on the color print-outs taped to the glass than what was on the larger, laminated menu on the wall. The chocolate small cup of soft serve with chocolate syrup and rainbow sprinkles was satisfying. It would've been perfect if hot fudge had been on offer. One oddity on the service end, one in our group tried to order a milkshake, but was told "no milkshakes" that evening, but then we saw a milkshake being picked up. (Perhaps that was the last one of the evening.) One disappointment on the menu end, one in our group prefers peanut-butter based ice cream, but there didn't seem to be one available, even via mix-ins, so he went without. One note on the food, one in our group ordered an Earl Grey cone, but it looked (and tasted) like plain vanilla.

I thought I'd written a review about this place before but to my shock I had not…read more I have been coming here since the day they opened, infrequently beacuse I am diabetic but when I want to spoil my body with delicious sugar, honey, this is *IT*. Now I could tell you all about how perfectly tasty everything is. From the classic banana puddings (I prefer the caramel version myself,) to the cookies, to the pineapple upside-down mini cakes. Yes, I could tell you that. But I want to speak to something deeper. I want to speak to belonging and community; and to fairness. As a biracial person with a brown sister, I feel the pull to support black and brown businesses. It's not a secret. And sometimes you do it, and sometimes you privately think "Damn. I wanna be supportive but this place is a mess." Then there's Sweet Life. NOT that. FILLED with good product at a great price, delivered by owners and staff who actually give a damn about being loving and supportive to all different types of people. And did I mention the sweets are POPPIN'? And to that statement of fairness. Today I came in to place an order, and when the price came up, for a moment I thought "Damn. That is a lot higher than I remembered, but I am not about to question them. They set the price and that price is what they deserve." So I paid. But then I noticed there was more in my bag that I'd asked for, and that there had been a miscommunication. When I tell you that this miscommunication was corrected with swiftness *AND* a smile. No shade. No drama. Just an "Ooops, oh well, here's your refund on the balance." I know this seems very basic but we all know it isn't. We have all been in that awkward situation where as a customer we have to point out an error, and the vendor turns it into a Shakespearan tragedy. Not Sweet Life. "Oops. Sorry! Fixed. Love you." So, to recap: Stunningly delicious sweets. Prices fair as hell. Communicative, inclusive staff doing the right thing. You need to take those money dollers and haul your ass over here TODAY. Now...where did I put my insulin pen?
