I spoke with Greer, and he got me all situated over the phone before I even got here. As soon as I got here, Greer greeted me with keys in hand for my test drive. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and BEST of all, not pushy!! I didn't feel rushed or intimidated at all. I really felt like he wanted me to get the best deal and my own unique car. I had done tons of research (choosing a 4-door sedan...lots of options), but the civic outbeat all other comparable competition. Apple car play, right side mirror camera, Bluetooth, and so many options that just blew me away. Melanie helped me with finances and she was SO sweet and helpful. She was knowledgeable as well and really explained everything I asked AND didn't ask (in a good way). If I had any complaints, it would be directed towards Jose, the sale manager. He was so rude and almost lost my business. My friend came to this dealership and encountered the same behavior and actually was deterred because of his actions. This was by far the best car buying experience I've ever had. I went to another dealer where the sales associate had to read the manual to answer my questions about the car and then tried to pressure me into buying a model that was out of my price range. The sales associate at Hughes Honda, Jesse Thornton, was extremely knowledge about the specs on every car I was looking at. Additionally he asked me about my driving habits and the things I need out of the car. Once he got an understanding of my needs, he actually talked me out of the more expensive model by explaining that a lot of the features I would be paying extra for are ultimately things I would not personally use based on my driving habits. Having a sales associate who acts as the little angel on your shoulder telling you to stick to your budget rather than a little devil telling you to spend more was extremely comforting. In the end though, money talks... and Hughes Honda blew all other dealers away in that regard. Purchased a 2001 Honda Odyssey for my wife but previous owner lost the code to unlock the navigation system, after calling the dealer in Macon and not getting anywhere I called Hughes Honda, Crystal the service counselor immediately offered to help us out and just to come by and have her take a look at it, we finally did and she spend about 40 minutes to get the code, there was no charge and she went above and beyond to help us, fantastic service and highly recommended, I know we will be new customers. They were able to locate an issue with my window motor the other Honda dealership on Eisenhower refused to even look for. Although they did cause damage to my vehicle exterior (a complete accident) on my first visit, they were honest and had it fixed. I couldn't even tell where the damage was after it had been repaired! I had an issue with my 2015 and I had to use Hondas roadside assistance, so I brought my CRV in to have it checked out. They took my vehicle back right away to check it over and found the battery was the issue and replaced it quickly. My only complaint is that no one ever explained what was wrong just fixed it and told me it was ready. read more
