They held it hostage for "repairs" they said they did AND are trying to bill me $2,000 for things I did not authorize. I'm going to small claims court. We also have the documentation we need for work that they say they completed but it is clear they did not complete anything. Transmission they broke was not replaced. Brushings for steering not done. They did an oil change I never asked for and charged $135.00! We have photos and videos from independent mechanics who looked at the receipt and inspected the car for what they supposedly replaced and recorded it in real time. It shows bolts rusted onto parts that they say they replaced and billed me for. No new brushings in steering. It's a shady place and if you know what's good for you you'll stay as far away as you can. This is my experience and it's the first time I've dealt with someone trying to take advantage of me like this. Went in for a simple Solenoid replacement in the transmission $1,100. Doubled the bill. Go somewhere else, anywhere else, protect yourself. That is the purpose of my honest review. Word of mouth experience...

Now to some of you its ok to leave your car and go about your business till a shop takes their time to fix things, and thats ok by me too, if I have a ride when my ride is unavailable. But this time I didn't and my wife needed her car. So Monday morning at 7:50am (today 3/14/2016) I called these guys. Having been highly recommend by friends of the family verbally. I got there at 9am, the nice lady at the desk (Kristen) took my keys and listened to my problems. 2.5 hrs and $194 later my suv brandished a brand new muffler and I was all set to head on to work. They also recommended other stuff that could need fixing totally $700, but am ok with that cause one involves brakes. So yup as of now Superior Auto and Truck is the place to go for my needs for my Chrysler Pacifica. And I will gladly refer them to friends family and yelpers!!

Dreading using a repair shop we do not know, I search Yelp for reviews of appropriate repair shops. Superior has five good reviews. I am adding this as we were impressed with the honesty and quick service we got. Knowing that our engine commonly suffers from exhaust manifold failures which are extremely difficult (and expensive) to repair, I was fearing the worse. However, we were quickly placed on a lift and told that it was not the manifold but only loose bolt on the exhaust pipe. In, fixed and on our way in 40 minutes with only a $22 bill. I had to take my car back to them and they accused me of bringing my car in with a bad fuel gauge to begin with. After going back and forth with the rude guy at the counter and insisting that there was NO WAY I would ever drive around town without knowing how much gas is in my car, they finally looked at my car again and realized the part they put in my car was defective and they had to replace it again. That proved I didn't bring my car in with a bad fuel gauge. No apology or anything to me. Unfortunately, after the final repair and them explaining that the new part was an aftermarket part, my car now sounds like crap with constant hissing sounds and gas smells even months after the "repair." They are rude, have terrible customer service, and are overpriced. I will NEVER take another vehicle to this place ever again!! Apparently the HIGH power beams are 9005 Sylvania bulbs. Instead of informing my wife the wrong bulbs were brought in they replaced the WORKING low beam lights. They refused to return the working bulbs we are entitled to according to Michigan law. We had to take it to a dealer who then replaced the high beams with the low budget bulbs. We needed the supers lumen brightest bulbs as she does drive our son to work between 2:30 AM and 4:30 AM depending on his work hours through much no lighted winding country single lane roads. Why didn't this place tell us we had the wrong bulbs? Imagine if we were there for car repairs and needed rear quarter panels but we wrongly received front quarter panels and the replaced the front good panels. We still would have wasted money on unnecessary repairs and still had to have repairs necessary. This is gross incompetence and they refused to give my wife our working bulbs back. This is pathetic, shameful, and negligent while on their part.
