And I can honestly say there is nothing I don't like about them in My few experiences with them, so far. They are: 1) Welcoming and friendly, RESPECTFUL (incl. never once being patronizing or condescending with Me) - easy to converse with; patient with questions, gives direct and clear answers. Very family-like. Love it. 2) Accessible and reliable. I never have to chase them down to get ahold of them. And they are on top of their communications. 3) HONEST & FAIR. Upfront and thorough. Honors their quotes. Stands behind their work. Readily owns mistakes (I know this, because once when I called about an issue - it was their idea to rule out some fault perhaps on their end...though that wasn't the case). Very transparent. Never tried to upsell anything to Me. No suspicious anything. 4) GOOD. So far, every repair they've made has been a good, effective, and durable job. I have a list of repairs I came to them, knowing I needed done; and they haven't made Me sorry yet. 5) REASONABLE. I know a little about cars, research My car symptoms, repair details, and compare prices. They have not only never overcharged Me for anything - I have found them to be outright reasonable in their prices. 6) Close. I don't even have to go very far for repairs. I'm not one to often do reviews for businesses online; only when compelled by either a particularly excellent or paricularly terrible experience (something memorable - notable). But when I do...in keeping it 100 - I would also come back for an edit, if given cause (I don't anticipate that here, obviously). In short - 10/10, would DEFINITELY recommend. This business is relatively young here, but Majed (the owner) knows his craft AND has a great work ethic. I have only felt more comfortable, each time I come in. A really good sign. This doesn't make any sense to me. Even a mobile workshop guarantee whatever they do on your car for a lease 1yr. These guys will guarantee the parts they use on your car, which is the manufacture warrantee, but they won't give you any warranty for labor. I feel if they know they are doing a good job for their customers, they should have no problem giving their customers warranty for the job they did. This is my main reason of giving them 4 stars. The bottom line is that you should be aware that when you take your car to this shop for any repair you won't get any warranty for the job they will do on your car and this may end up costing you a lot more if they don't do job right the first time.

I've dealt with Bruce and his team of mechanics at My Car Guy Auto Repair several times, and to say that they are best would be an understatement. They give honest, upfront estimates of what needs to be repaired before they do any work your vehicle, which is at a far better price than most dealerships or other auto repair businesses offer. Bruce, and his team have extensive experience with all makes of Honda and Toyota vehicles. As an ASE Master Certified Technician specializing in Honda products, he strongly recommends using authentic auto parts from these two trusted brands, and not generic, third-party manufacturers. Likewise, I've had my Civic tuned up and it runs like a champ, at less than half the price quoted by three other auto shops in the Ann Arbor-Ypsilanti area. No matter what the make or model of vehicle you own, be it domestic or foreign, Bruce and his team of dedicated mechanics will repair it no matter what the problem is. The only kind of service he doesn't provide are front-end alignments. However, this may change in the future.

They tend to charge on the rather high side of things and refuse to work with longtime customers on pricing or give a slight discount when multiple things are being done. Lastly, their work doesn't seem to last as long as it does when getting fixes done at a dealership, so your brakes will go quicker.. oil will NEED to be changed around 1.5k miles etc. They guarantee their work, kind of, but not for long and they're vague about specifics. I'd like to get more work done here, but it will be cheaper and last longer if customers went elsewhere.. So.. typical independent auto shop?
