I just had my band repaired and resized with Hugh's and I cannot say enough amazing things! I bought a new wedding band a couple of years back from Helzberg. Since I got it I have lost EVERY single diamond in it at least once. I was so sick of taking it in to be repaired for the same thing over and over again and they were charging me $350 for each repair! On a whim I stoped at Hugh's on Saturday to see what they would quote on a fix. They only wanted $200 to replace the missing diamond and rebuild the posts to make sure I don't keep losing diamonds. Also bonus points to the lovely woman who knew I wasn't there to buy but noticed me looking so she took time out of her day to show me so many different beautiful pieces with zero sales pitches! She even told me I'm welcome to come back and visit whenever and she'll always be happy to let me try on and see anything I want to look at. Really amazing place with amazing people. My husband of 10 years, proposed to me with this ring 11 years ago. The stones were getting loose. My husband took it to Thollot in Thornton was told it couldn't be repaired, said it could be blown apart and made into earrings or necklace. They said it was unrepairable. Tried to get him to buy new ring. Husband took it to Hughes, they fixed it in 24 hrs. $25 and made it look brand new. I was so impressed with his pr previous work I had to go back! I had another Masonic ring to be sized but that is just half the story! After Greg and I identified the size for my 2nd ring. I ask a simple question one the first one I had sized. The question was does a ring form to ones finger? He look at it, and was like " I don't like the way that looks" next thing I knew it he put the in the same work order envelope. I said oh no you don't have to do anything to that one. My fiance and I had a wonderful experience at Hugh's Jewelers. We like that it's local and family run. We got a good vibe our first time visiting the store and knew that's where we would order my engagement ring. The brothers are friendly and accomodating, and we love that Greg is a goldsmith who does his work there rather than shipping it off. We were able to custom design a ring using online tools and were able to see sample settings and stones they ordered for us before committing. Pricing is reasonable compared to chain jewelery stores.
