Overall restaurant was unkept on the day I visited. The meat is frozen, not fresh. Price was pretty decent. Staff was friendly.

This was our first visit to a HuHot Mongolian Grill in Logan and it was great. Everyone in our group, kids and adults, loved it. We will definitely go back. Amazing! I went there on 26/4/2015 whilst on my honeymoon. I am from the UK and my wife is from Logan. When entering we was greeting with a charming young lady who showed us to our seats. She asked had we ever been there before to which our two guests replied that they had and would show me what to do as i had never been to a Mongolian all you can eat place before. Drinks were with us in seconds, i had ordered a raspberryade which was extremely refreshing with not too much ice, it was a very hot day and i was a tad dehydrated so drank it within about 30 seconds, no sooner was i at the bottom of the glass, and the waitress placed another one next to me. This i found to be excellent service. Being a chunky chap myself, i found the bowls in which you place your food to be a tad small, obviously it is an all you can eat and the idea is you can refill as many times as you like, but i chose to take two bowls. I filled one with various mixed meats from the meat station and the other with noodles and some onions from the noodle and veggie station ( gotta to get one of the 5 a day in lol ). The selection of meats was impressive as was the selection of noodles and veggies. I moved round to the sauces station and selected some sauces from the massive array available in which you customise your own sauces. There are recipes for common ones or you can just mix your own. i was very impressed at how clean everything was, everything having its place in an easy to navigate layout. i took my bowls over the where the chaps were cooking. In the UK we dont tend to have many places where they cook this way we have some teriyaki places but they tend to be very select and expensive often needing to be booked weeks in advance. I was mesmerised by the way the chaps were cooking, and there was a rather large chap there who cooked like a ninja. I asked him if he would mind if i took a few photographs or possibly a video, and he seemed surprised by my question and asked why, to which i replied i was on my honeymoon and was with my wife who was a local resident and that i was from the UK and didnt see this style of cooking very often, he congratulated me and wished me all the best for my marriage and allowed me to take as many pictures as i wanted. so i took about 25 pictures and video recorded my meal being cooked. It was absolutely delightful, it was washed down with 2 large glasses of cherry vanilla dr pepper. I ordered our deserts and whilst waiting for them I went outside to have a cigarette and returned to find my wife crying. A tad concerned i asked her what the matter was, and she informed me that the large chap had approached her, and asked her if she was the bride, she replied she was, and he introduced himself as the owner and said he had spoken to me and said i was a lovely friendly guy, he then proceeded to congratulate my wife on behalf of himself and all the staff at HuHot and informed her that there would be no bill for us or our two guests on this day, it was a gift from him and HuHot. This overwhelmed my wife and she cried tears of happiness and this mans kindness. I gestured to him and he came over, where i shook his hand and thanked him repeatedly for showing us such unexpected kindness and have several photographs taken with him after which he went back to his cooking. We finished our deserts and went to the podium to pay for the drinks and deserts as we assumed that the part that he so graciously gifted us was noodles part and thought the deserts and drinks would be chargeable, the charming lady at the podium smiled and told me we was free to leave and under direct order from the management, there would be no charge for anything for us and congratulated us on our marriage and wished us well for the future from everyone. Remembering it brings tears to my eyes. The whole dining experience was absolutely amazing and that day i made memories i will never ever forget, and have the luxury of being able to watch the video whenever i choose. I would not hesitate in recommending this family friendly restaurant to everyone, if you have not been, then you are missing out on a wonderful dining experience. Outrageous prices for what you get. Totally not worth it. I would not suggest coming here if you have any food allergies. They cook everybody's food on the same huge surface and only use water and a scraper to get it off. Also, the meat is dry. I've been there three times and it's just not doing it for me. Huhot in logan was one of my families favorite places to eat. We showed up an hour before closing time and we treated poorly by the staff cleaning around the food lines . They said how disappointed they were that we were there at that time of night. It was very uncomfortable for me and my family . Places like this that are managed poorly don't last long in Logan Utah , to many other places to go to where people enjoy the money you spend at their restaurant. Please huhot pull your act together. Not a good waitress at all she asked to get me a refill on my drink, she avoided my table, I waited 30 minuets for a refill on my drink. Still never got the refill. My first HuHot experience was in Omaha, Nebraska and I didn't care for it too much. Everyone I was there with loved it, however. I think it just took a couple times for me to nail down a routine and find a sauce I really liked. But now it's one of my favorite places. If you don't know what to get or aren't feeling creative, just stick to one of their recipe cards for either the dish or the sauce and you won't be disappointed. Make sure to use enough sauce. Minimum of 5 scoops and a max of about 8. The loyalty program is pretty good, better than a lot of places. Some say it is overpriced but it's like ten bucks and all you can eat, how is that overpriced? These days you can't leave Subway or Mcdonalds for less than 6 or 7 bucks, I would gladly pay a few more bucks for fresher food and a place you know you can get full. Service can be hit and miss, which is my main complaint. Some of the waitstaff seem to have never worked food service before, others are spot on. Just luck of the draw I guess. read more

You know, I love Mongolian Grill style restaurants but was NOT impressed with HuHot. Now I will give them the benefit of the doubt, when I went it was within the first two weeks open. Our waitress didn't get our drinks in time and we didn't get our soup or rice until about 25 minutes into our meal. The food was good, but I felt rushed by the staff members. The best part is the experience of getting to see it cooked. I went on Lunch another day and a lady walked around and got mad at people for carrying two bowls to the grill(there is not enough room in one for an even semi satisfying amount of food). I feel like it is a little over priced for still having to tip your wait staff. Especially since they only bring you a drink and some rice. I guess we will see if it gets any better. read more

Dishes were dirty and had dish water still in them, about 1/3 of the tables were dirty the whole time I was in the restaurant, even though there were people waiting to be seated. Hu Hot's model is to have you collect a bowl of raw beef, raw pork, raw chicken, and/or raw seafood together with noodles, vegetables, sauces, and oils to a chef who will fry up your concoction in front of you and hand you your plate of delicious smelling Mongolian food. But, employee turnover and untrained cooks can provide you a meal that is undercooked without you knowing. Then, your undercooked food will leave you with some painful and debilitating food poisoning for the next several hours, as it did me. I will never eat there again. read more

I ate a plastic from their food. its about 3 inches long!!!GROSS. waited for 30 mins until the manager fianlly show up, and he did not apologize at all, and speak loudly to us, let me and my friends to pay for the soda. When we say we are not going to pay the soda, he is pissed and yelled at us why? whats wrong with the soda. And never said a sorry, or any thing to apologize. I like the whole BBQ concept, you can make the type of meal you want and if you don't like it you can always go back and make something new. The place was clean and the service was good. However for the price the food seemed very cheap. The meat was frozen into thin chips, there was a limited number of vegetables, no spices but a good amount of sauces (again not great quality). It's an ok place but don't expect a 5 star dining experience. It pales in comparison to similar places that use fresh meat and other high quality ingredients. read more

Hu-Hot seemed very good from the outside. It looked like a classy Mongolian grill. I got inside and the atmosphere alone was captivating. The ancient looking paintings on the walls to the large circular grill with chefs working around it. The kind waitress smiled at me and showed me to my table and gave me a chart with all the drink choices. There was a large selection with every coke product having extra flavors that i've never seen before. After i got my drink i went over the the tables with all the food choices. I got some beef and noodles with baby corn and carrots. Along with this a drizzled a few of the select sauces over the top my favorite being the sweet chili sauce. The wait for the cooks to take my food and grill it was lightning fast. He took my bowl and expertly flipped and cooked my food as i watched in awe. He collected it all and ut in on a plate and handed it to me with a friendly smile. As i say thank you i start back to my table to enjoy the delightful meal that is now in front of me. I get back and i take a sip of my drink, an orange coke, it was amazing i've never had i drink so amazing. I thought that there's no way that the food can be that good. But my first bite proved my expectations wrong. The perfect balance between sweet and spicy the savory taste of the beef and noodles together was perfect. The perfectly cooked plate of food was the highlight of my day. And i went back for more and more until i was completely satisfied and no longer hungry. Been to many Mongolian BBQs but this is my first time to a HuHut. I was so happy to see something come to Logan that has a broder variety of meats and vegetables. I don't know if it is particular to the HuHut mid-west chain or Logan but the cook top is not as hot as the others I have visited so the meats end and vegetables get overcooked. We decided to try HuHot for the first time last Friday night. We were seated quickly and given menus and told that a waitress would be with us shortly. It was about 5:30 pm and the restaurant wasn't busy - there were many empty tables and booths. We read through the menu and talked for a few minutes. Waitresses attended to 3 different tables in our area but none even glanced at us. We looked around to try to catch someone's eye. Finally after 10-15 minutes, we got up and walked out. For $12.99 for what we thought would be a nice dinner, we thought we would get a little more attention. As we walked out, there were 4 waitresses laughing and talking at the door who hardly gave us a glance as we walked out. We were very disappointed on our night out. read more
