I love that I can explore different foods and combinations throughout the night and not have to worry about aligning my food preferences with others at the table. They've got a lot of options so there's something for everyone. My personal favorites are the beef, crab, noodles, veggies, pineapple, and water chestnuts - topped with either a peanut sauce, some sesame oil, but I mix it up quite a bit among all of them. Affordable and quick for a sit down place to eat. We like coming here with our friends as they have kids and they can be as picky as they want. I am not sure why I have not updated my review here over the years. This is definitely my favorite HuHots in the area and for the most part the service is always great. The grill masters are amazing. The wait staff is almost always good (honestly i don't tend to go here in the evening because there is one waitress who I tend to get and she is one of those ones to interrupts way too much when you are eating/talking with someone and just doesn't seem to recognize good social signs of service). Day staff are always great though - I haven't had a bad server - but if Gideon is working, he is the waiter I am asking for - totally on his game and very nice. I've been to a Hu-Hot a few times and I love it every time I go. I went to this location a couple months ago with some work friends for lunch. Of course right when we got to our table I bolted for the grub. I always double plate it with the meats on one and the veggies on other. And you know I sauce up both plates to the max. I unfortunately can't take much advantage of the all you can eat type restaurant style but my friends, boyfriend, and family always do! This place!! I love it!! You can go through a line and fill up what you want and they'll toss it on the grill and cook it up for you. With soooo many options! They have chicken, beef, pork, shrimp, tons of veggies, so many sauce choices, and you can get a bowl of rice from the waiter. I usually have one bowl for veggies and one for meats, and it makes for a hearty healthy meal of meats and lots of healthy vegetables. I always come out of here feeling full and happy! This location is off of 72nd and Pacific. The parking lot is smaller than other Huhot restaurants, and if you arrive during non-primetime hours, parking becomes easier. Service was pretty good here. Holy moly I have missed this place. Does a buffet during a pandemic sound appetizing? Probably not at first thought but I'd had seen other reviews mention the safety stuff, so ya know what I did it. And, honestly I think they couldn't do anymore to keep you safe. So many tables are blocked off. Very small staff is on. You must be masked hand sanitize, and wear gloves when you're up to the ingredients line. I went during mid day in a week day and I was 1 of 3 patrons so it was very slow and I truly felt safe. I did wash my hands after returning with food, which gave it ample time to cool down. I love every single plate I ever make, you can't really complain about anything, it's cooked to perfection every time. I did opt for zoodles for the first time with just a pinch of regular pad Thai because I am #healthyaf and it was delish. I also ordered a side salad and crab Rangoon and of course I got stuffed but they kindly gave me a to go box and I enjoyed the rest later. If you haven't been to a Mongolian grill before, you start with a bowl at a buffet where you'll choose meats, noodles, vegys etc that you would like combined into a meal. Once you've decided on the food, you have sauces to choose from. Mild to spicy and a lot in between. Follow the line around and they'll take your bowl and throw the contents on a huge round cooking service. Once it's cooked, they plate it for you and you're all set! I came here with my family for dinner. It didn't seem like it was busy, but the state of the food bar said otherwise. Not sure if it was a staffing problem or not but the food bar had scraps for food. The noodles were low or out and the meats were bare minimum if you were lucky. They hat what looked like red hot dogs cut up as their sausage too. It was disgusting. The manager on duty was walking around talking to the employees instead of jumping in and helping out to get the food at the bar restocked. It's pointless to go there if the main food they serve is missing. Thankfully our waiter was amazing and kept the 2 star status for this place. Lead by example.
