The restaurant was a decent size with just about every table with a table top grill for bbq! I ordered the tofu stew which came quickly. Everything was delicious. However, hours later my stomach was really upset with this meal being the first and last thing I had eaten. Maybe something was sat out or expired. Idk but I'm going to give it another chance! A Taste of Seoul in the Heart of Omaha! Korea Garden absolutely nailed it with this comforting, authentic Korean spread. The moment the banchan (side dishes) hit the table, I knew I was in for a treat. Fresh kimchi, crunchy cucumbers, tender mung bean sprouts, and perfectly blanched broccoli -- all tasted homemade and balanced. Even the rice was fluffier than my expectations. Then came the galbi (marinated short ribs) -- sweet, smoky, and fall-off-the-bone tender. You could taste the overnight marinade in every juicy bite, and the char on the edges was chef's kiss. Honestly, I could've just eaten a plate of those and gone home happy. But I'm so glad I didn't, because the soondubu jjigae (soft tofu stew) stole the show. Served bubbling hot in a traditional stone bowl, it was spicy, savory, and silky with tofu, egg, and veggies. The broth had real depth, not just heat. Exactly what you want on a chilly day -- or any day, really. This meal felt like a warm hug and a flavor punch all in one. Fresh ingredients, generous portions, and that unmistakable taste of home-cooked Korean food made it one of the best Korean meals I've had in the Midwest. Visiting from Hawaii. We were the first customers there for lunch on a Thursday afternoon. Being from Hawaii, my Asian palate was craving Korean food and so glad we decided on this place. My husband and I ordered our usual dishes we get at a Korean restaurant: Kimchee jigae, Kimchee fried rice and I asked for an extra fried egg, galbi, and japjae. The soup was delicious. Tofu and pork were soft and soup was not too spicy. The galbi meat also tender and flavorful. It went great with the Kimchee fried rice. That was also packed with meat and flavor. The japjae was smoky and not sweet. The banchan (side dishes) were fresh and crunchy. Overall my husband and I were happy with our meal. Since we were the only ones there the service was prompt and friendly. The ambiance of the restaurant has a fun Korean theme and since I'm a K-pop fan loved the music. Ambiance is overall no frills. Causal and clean with plenty of room. Service was quick and helpful and food came out very quickly. Food was good! I've never been to Korea but overall tasted as authentic as I could imagine. Loved the side dishes that came prior to our meal. The kimchi and cucumbers were fantastic. We ordered shrimp shumai as an app and it was delicious and came with way more pieces than expected which is always nice. My Husband really enjoyed his meal and felt like it was very flavorful. Trying some Korean fare before in Omaha. Ordered barley tea (barely), wanted tteokbokki, but no guarantee it wouldn't be too soft, so we skipped it. Also ordered the large kimbap and the 32 ounce kimchi, japchae with chicken and kimchi jjigae less pork meat. $64.71. The barley tea is good as expected. The kimbap are very small rolls and pieces heat and are mostly rice, that's the biggest way to skimp out and charge $17 for 16 tiny kimbap bites, that's ridiculous. Quite fishy tasting from the Krab. Overpriced for what you get. We asked for a side of sriracha and they gave us enough to dip maybe 6 single pieces of the kimbap in it. We asked for more sriracha and they filled the same ramekin with more, since it had little bits of the black sesame in the sauce from the kimbap. The bamchans must only come out with the meal, that's usually first out at most Korean restaurants, then again this is an Asian fusion restaurant. The Kimchii isn't that good, not super fresh and the flavor doesn't do much for me. The japchae was okay, not a lot of potato noodles or chicken, but a decent amount of veggies. The kimchi jjigae wasn't so good, since the kimchi itself was so-so. read more

Oh my this was SO good. We were going to go to a different place in the area and I stumbled upon this one on Yelp and have no regrets whatsoever. Kimbap was expensive but it was so good I didn't even care when I was eating it. I loved the banchan (side dishes that come with the meals). I got Jajameon (Chinese black been sauce noodles with pork) and my husband tried hot dak bulgogi (spicy chicken bulgogi). Both were SO SO GOOD. I forgot to take any photos! read more

O M G YESSSS !! This is an AMAZING Korean place. I actually hate the all you could eat because than there's no leftovers! We came here and got a big room because there was 5 of us. The service was AAAMAZING and our waitress was so sweet in helping us with the cooking. We like our pork belly REALLY crispy and poor thing kept thinking we're burning it. I'm not gonna lie, my expectations were low. I wasn't expecting Korean food in Omaha to be anything special... but I was proved wrong! Everything was so delicious and the flavors were spot on. There is ample parking and the restaurant even has a drive-thru. Bibimbap: no complaints! Rice with mixed veggies and meat with spicy sauce Jajang Myeon: came with a lot of extra veggies in it and the sauce was really good. We asked for extra noodles so ours was on the dry side. But it usually comes with a good sauce to noodle ratio Jam Bong: this was my favorite dish we ordered. I have a very low spice tolerance so I asked for it to be less spicy. And I was still struggling a bit but I couldn't stop eating bc it was so good! Korea Garden is a foodie experience like no other!!! They are bringing back their BBQ tables so definitely go check them out!! The owners and staff were extremely so helpful and so nice and they make such amazing delicious food. The ribeye and the prime rib were so tender and paired so well with their in-house sauce you have the option of dipping it. Also, cannot forget the kimchi, jalapeños, and salad that was also with it! The Tokpokki was so good as well and tasted so amazing with the fish cakes. There's lots of parking on front and of course tables inside for your KBBQ experience!! It is so nice inside and very cool to cook your meat right in front of you! Very great quality meat I may add! Additionally received grilled shrimp that was so perfectly charred and tasted sooo good as well. The bibimbap came out steaming with the egg on top and tasted sooo good with the rice and the meat and everything all together! Definitely recommend getting that!! I enjoyed Korea Garden for a bit, but the novelty of it being one of few Korean spots in Omaha wore off. My boyfriend and I dined in and paid ~$40 for a Bulgogi for two, and it included the beef bulgogi meat, sides (kimchi pancake, kimchi, potatoes, cucumber), and lettuce, and bowl of rice for each of us. While we remember the portions for the platter being much more a couple years back and even last year, we noticed the restaurant's been stingy with its portion sizes, which isn't worth the $40 price tag for us personally. The waitress was helpful, however the ambience was a bit jarring as kpop music played glaringly loud in both our ears. With Japanese Koen BBQ building in Omaha soon, I hope this restaurant can improve its service, food, and environment swiftly to keep up with the growing diverse food scene in Omaha. My friend and i got the seafood and green onion pancake and kimbap to start with! The pancake was crispy while still soft on the inside. The kimbap was seasoned very well, filled with veggies and meat! For our main, we shared a jjajangmyeon, korean black beans noodles. The noodles were nice and bouncy and the sauce was a good balance between sweet and savory. Service was nice and fast. Went here for dinner yesterday for Korean food. Was very disappointed in our meal and service. We ordered an appetizer and two dishes, fried dumplings (yakimandu) and Jab chae and bibimbap. The mandu came out promptly and hot but you can tell that this was not Korean dumplings - had no taste and one could easily tell it was a grocery store brand and not homemade. If you are going to use Costco/Sams Club brand, at least get the actual Korean version of the dumplings. Our meals arrived also promptly with the traditional vegetable side dishes. The bibimbap was very good but the meat portion was significantly smaller than our previous visits. The jab chae dish however was not good - the noodles were overcooked and there was hardly and vegetables/meat on the dish. 19.95 seems a lot for a half grapefruit sized portion of just noodles that were overcooked. Service issue was the staff was always trying to take away stuff from our table as we were still eating our meal. Also, when we asked for bean sprouts, we were told none was available even though they are part of the bibimbap dish. We had not been there in a few months and you can see they upgraded their table to allow them to cook tableside in traditional Korean style. I guess they are trying to make up the cost of the upgrade with less ingredients and higher prices. As there are other Korean food options in the Omaha area, this is probably our last visit to Korea Garden. read more

I had the Jajang Myeon, and my daughter had the Jab Chae. Both were delicious, with a great combination of meats, vegetables, and noodles. The food was pretty ok, it was missing that punch of flavor that I expect from Korean food, but it was still good. I would definitely suggest them as a place to go if you are unfamiliar with strong Korean flavors. The kimchi was good, but didn't have the pungent kick I am used to. For some reason I though dragon chicken would be spicy, it had a good flavor and was from spicy, sweet crispy and flavorful. I learned to eat authentic Korean Bbq while stationed at Osan, Korea. A Korean national colleague took us downtown to a place that catered to Koreans and not many Americans. It was there that he introduced us to this delicious food and taught us how to eat it properly. So I've eaten at a LOT of Korean restaurants throughout the United States. Korea Garden is one of the best I've had! I had this delivered through Uber and it was delivered quickly and it was still hot. I had the spring rolls, crab rangoon, steamed pork, bulgogi, kimchi, and other side dishes. As you can see in the photo, everything was wrapped well and it's obvious they care about their service. Plus everything was delicious! The portions are great and the prices are reasonable. I've eaten in the restaurant too and the service is always great and the ambiance is welcoming. I came here with some friends and we overall really enjoyed it here. We were seated immediately since it wasn't crowded. We ordered seafood pancake appetizer and shared a few of the entrees including beef bulgogi, stir fried squid, galbi, bibimbap, and beef rib soup. It also comes with a bunch of sides including kimchi, cucumbers, potatoes, etc. I thought that overall the food was pretty good, the sides were delicious. We definitely asked for seconds for some of the sides! I recommend trying the seafood pancake and galbi for sure. The only thing I would note is that my friend who has come here many times in the past did say that the portions have decreased significantly. My weekend Korean Cuisine go to. The food is an upscale version of my favorite Korean restaurant, Korean House, and always pleased. The Kimchi is some of my favorite in the metro, so fresh and flavorful. The Kimbap is freshly prepared and delicious. The Beef Bulgogi is a generous portion that is tender and flavorful. This was my first time having the Kimchi Fried Rice. It was good, but wished it had more pork. I had maybe 5 small pieces in my dish. Overall a solid choice, but Korean House is my go to, just wish they were open on weekends. read more

It comes with 5 side dishes and they refill your side dishes with no extra charge! The beef was super tender. After a night of fine dinning, I was inspired to look for an authentic Korean Food place that serves some sort of traditional Korean food. Looking around close to my hotel, I found one that was not too far of a drive. Korean Garden it is! The place is in a shopping center complex where there is a lot of parking spaces. Although with the snow, some spots are all filled up but there's still plenty of stalls for parking in the lots in nearby stores as well. I entered the place and there was no one around. Then immediately after a minute goes by, one of the waitress came in from the front entrance. She greeted her self first then proceed to seat me at the booth. For seating spaces, there are 7 booths seating up to four, 4 Square Tables seating up to four, 5 Elongated Tables seating up to six and then there's a Sushi Bar area that has 5 tall seats. There's a fireplace in the middle of the restaurant I'm sure it's there to keep the place all nice and warm. I kept my order simple by ordering the Beef Bulgogi w/ White Rice to go along with an bottle of China's finest TsingTao Beer! Haha! Food came out after 10 minutes along with all the side dishes, most typical of all Korean Restaurants. I was hungry so I ended up clearing EVERYTHING off my plates. The Beef Bulgogi started to get cold real quick so I had to finish it up pretty fast. Overall, the food is good. read more

This is my go-to place for Korean food in Omaha. We started familiarizing ourselves with this restaurant by ordering takeout from here. The food portions always had a large quantity and even the service in the drive through was great. We called ahead for our order and by the time we arrived, all we had to do was go through the drive through to pick up our food! However, there was one time that our food wasn't ready, and the restaurant owner insisted that we come in to sit down and sip on barley tea as we waited for the food to be ready. I've never experienced such kind service before! Although this started as our go-to take out food place, we started dining in as well. To our pleasant surprise, we realized the service is so friendly that we are always offered free refills of the delicious bonchon (side dishes). Now for the food - I always get the kimchi fried rice and pork bulgogi. The kimchi friend rice is the perfect amount of spicy, and has delicious pork meat mixed in with the tangy kimchi. The rice dish is savory and flavorful. The pork bulgogi is the perfect balance of smoky and spicy and served with a side dish of fluffy sticky rice. By the way, they do not skimp on the meat here! The bonchon honestly is just as good as the entrees we order- it consists of kimchi, sweet potatoes, savory cucumbers, egg pancake, and radish/ carrots. For those who haven't experienced this yet, bonchon is side dishes that are served complimentary with your meal in many Korean restaurants.
