Food was hot, fresh, came in a timely manner, the ladies were friendly and the place was clean. We ordered the enchilada meal and a burrito. The burrito was huge as was the enchiladas. We got one red and one green. The green one was delicious, the red lacking sauce but I could have went and asked for a small amount but chose not too. The shredded chicken could use a little more moisture but that's ok. Burrito was spicy but husband likes spice. Warning though, when I say he likes spice, he goes looking for spicy challenge, not many impress him like this one did. Good flavored spicy, not just heat and not overly vinegary. The rice was on point, soft, fluffy, good flavor. The salsa bar is small but clean and stocked. All the salsas have a unique flavor. The best part was the cheesecake churro bites. yes. $5 for a nice sized box of it plus icing. Thanks for lunch. Oh there was this one nasty lady that bitched about having to get her own utensils....they're next to the salsa bar and the soda machine. So that's a thing out here in Kingman I've noticed, you got to look at the demographics of these reviews and the ages of the folks leaving them...a lot of them are bitchy old white folks that don't get their way, or they just haaaaad to complain about the one little thing that went wrong out of the 8th time of being there that month. Maybe this is not authentic Mexican food, but it's pretty close. The taco and tostada meal comes with ample supplies of rice and bean. The smells filling my nasal passages are truly legit. Cant wait to pick up the taco and crunch away. Many Mexican places that offer this cuisine are doing away with the "tostada." It's real simple here, it's on the menu and it's selling. What kind of tostada would you like? The shell they use is a hard corn, but after the beans and cheese sit on top of that shell it becomes soft real quick. Nice. The lettuce is chopped fresh and tomato is available on request. The salsa bar has the varied types of hot sauce. Choice of red or green. Many of these sauces are prepared already because of COVID. This review has been recorded for the COVID times, now that we are out of the virus it's all open and still to keep the patrons safe the sauce bar has been eliminated due to the infection that can arise while so many individuals use it. This local gets more foot traffic than anything so this is much appreciated. Sauces and that delicious carrot, onion, and jalapeños mix is available if you ask. Make sure and get extra it's delicious on the taco salad and those burritos. The sauces range among a green sauce and an extra hot sauce that's not all that hot, but Tabasco is probably in your cabinet at home. The right sauce for the right Mexican food. Yum and deliciousness made and designed your way. The employees here are super nice and usually have no issues with you placing an order. Make sure and ask them to repeat the order for maximum care with the language barrier. This is a Spanish style restaurant with authentic employees making those burritos, tacos, and tostadas so if you don't understand the language; don't get mad. Ask and ask again until your order is made the way you want it. Most of us understand some Spanish, so use those skills here to help them make your food great. Have a little patience tacos are a few moments away. The lobby whenever I have visited is always neat and straight. The tables are open now, with the lobby opened for dining. If your in a hurry call your order in before you pick it up. It will shave time off for the wait if your on your lunch hour or in a hurry. Not a lot of reviews but constant stream of customers! Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - Lengua Combination Plate (22) was great with a huge serving of tongue that was well cooked and moist. The beans and rice were pretty classic and tasted great as well. Carne Asada Burrito was okay. There was only meat and salsa so it got a bit queasy. Very salty and one side of the burrito was dry Ambience: 3/5 - nice decorations on top but tables and walls have seen their share of abuse. Humberto's is my favorite place for Mexican food in town. Their breakfast burritos are the best! The beans and rice can't be beat. When I cook Mexican food at home I totally cheat and grab their rice and beans for my sides. Their flour tortillas are huge and you can buy them by the dozen...yum! I personally do not understand all the negative reviews for this place. I come here all the time when I am in Kingman. My favorite things on the menu are the burritos and the carne asada fries!!!! The portions are incredibly generous for the price you pay. The food is always fresh and the tortillas absolutely delicious. This business is family owned, the same 2 guys work there every single day, very dedicated. People are complaining about the place not being very clean at their table but they don't notice how busy the very few employees they do have are. Also if more people cleaned up after themselves before they left, it wouldn't be that big of a deal. Their food is always amazing, the people who work there are super friendly and the prices are fair. Sidenote, I saw the owner give a homeless man a free meal once and that is incredibly generous and caring. Allowed him to come inside, warm up (it was winter) and eat a nice hot meal. read more

We have visited both the Kingman and Bullhead City locations and the burritos are the best around. They really really need to open a location in Golden Valley on Highway 68 where they would get a lot of business from both local residents and motorists going to Vegas and Laughlin. read more

Taquitos are the best I've ever had. A close 2nd to El Cielito Linda at Olvera Street, Los Angeles. Breakfast burritos good too. Prices are fair and it's close to our vac home. Chilé is hot too. I did a search in the area for Mexican taco shops and this thing located next to a supermarket. The shop was some small hole in the wall place. Nothing fancy but the food was just perfect. I had the taste of the torta & ordered the carne asada burrito for myself. Both great and tasty. Piping hot and everything I expected to be. Good price too for what I paid for. They didn't have much of a salsa bar selection, with only three different flavors of salsa (chile sauce). Reminded me of traffic light (red, yellow, and green). This place used to be good years ago but every time I go there the food gets worse and worse. Their service has always been cold and uninviting but I would still go for the food. Those days are long gone and I rarely go there anymore. Well yesterday I decided to give them another shot and the food was worse than ever before. The rolled tacos were solid as a rock, burnt, and tasted like they were rolled last week. The beans were extremely salty and had way too much lard in them. If I had eaten in the restaurant I would have demanded my money back. I was eating at home and had to throw away 90% of the meal because it was literally inedible. And I was very hungry at the time. I don't see how anyone could review this place as the best Mexican food in town. I would rather eat a frozen burrito from the grocery store. I ordered some sherreded beef, sour cream and guacamole. The beef was more onions and bell pepper than meat. When I picked through the onions and peppers to get a few bites of fatty meat it had very little flavor. Pretty much just tasted like an old onion. I was hoping for some decent gaucamole, but my hopes were soon shattered. It was bright green and soupy. Not even close to half good tasting guacamole. I really wanted to like this place, but I was not impressed. We stopped in for a late lunch on a Saturday. The hubbie's tacos were so-so. The kid's beef burrito was large but the texture was off. I had the cheese enchilada plate, and the best part was the rice on the side; the enchiladas were like soup on the plate with shredded lettuce tossed on top, and the refried beans were watery and tasted almost burnt. The chips seemed to be freshly made from flour tortillas but with shredded cheese sprinkled on top and microwaved. Honestly, as much as I hate fast food, we could have gone around the corner to a drive-through and spent half as much for a far better meal. That said, the guys behind the counter were nice. Maybe we picked the wrong dishes, or maybe they were just having an off day. I'm a tough judge of Mexican food being a Texan but I am sure you can find something satisfying on the menu. I didn't like it but some people really do so it all depends where you grew up eating Mexican food I think. Very good burritos, tortes and chili rellenos. The one thing that I do NOT recomend here is the menudo. Have tried it twice and the first time, it had a knucklebone about the size of my fist. The second time it had been streched out by adding enchilada sauce, and the taste was not very good. We eat here quite often and do like much that they serve. read more
