3 times I went there and 3 times I got home with the wrong food. I worked in the restaurant business for 8 years They offer Beef, Chicken, pork, fish, I don't know why all they will make you is beef

Cali Burrito. Kinda dry. Needs more guac.

Just an update. Everything was on point this time, and delicious and juicy. Salsas were also great just wish they had more to choose from. It's now called Freys...

Was a beef taco. Took the filling out cause the tortilla not cooked enough for a crunchy taco.

The cashier working the counter extremely nice. The food..NO THANKS. We ordered a ceviche tostada, a chicken tostada, rolled tacos, and two hard shell beef tacos. None of the corn tortillas were cooked all the way. Crispy on the edges, soft and chewy in the middle. The rolled tacos are what I call punk ass rolled tacos, all tortilla no filling. My chicken tostada was soggy due to them not draining the juice off the chicken. Zero Flavor even with the green sauce. The beans.. tasted like they were boiled with water..no seasoning and barely mashed. The rice..nothing to write home about. The ceviche was like shrimp, ketchup, avocado, and onions. No lime or anything. They claim to have the best mini tacos in AZ. I think the F%$%#@ NOT!!. $30 with tip and a drink. Down the tubes. Their green sauce is basically water and jalapenos. NO SEASONINGS..no spice.

The food was excellent. The portions were very generous. It's a nice place to visit to connect with friends in a friendly family atmosphere.

Decent Mexican food within walking distance of the Tesla charging stations just off the freeway. A much better alternative to Carl's Jr.

$1 tacos are all we had. Super greasy which didn't settle well in the stomach for either of us.

As soon as I walked in, I was warmly greeted by a friendly bartender who quickly got me settled with a great margarita and a menu. We ordered our food to go, and everything was delicious. My husband had the fish tacos with rice and beans, and he couldn't stop talking about how flavorful they were. I was especially impressed by the menu's variety of vegitarian options--including a unique potato taco. I chose the vegetable enchilada, and it exceeded my expectations. The sauce was perfectly balanced and incredibly tasty. Honestly, I wish I had ordered a second dish to enjoy the next day. We were also served a basket of freshly made chips and salsa, which were homemade that morning. There's just nothing like fresh salsa that was on point! Overall, I highly recommend this spot for family and friends. It's a small, cozy place, so calling ahead for larger groups might be a good idea. The food is easily some of the best Mexican cuisine I've had in Arizona so far.

Last night, I came here for dinner and it was amazing. El Potrillo is really a classic Mexican…read morerestaurant, but with no faults at all. I ordered the Tour of Tijuana, which is a selection of three different tacos with a side of rice and beans, as well a handful of lettuce and some limes. I also ordered some of their homemade hot sauce, which made everything better. Everything was extraordinary, from the juicy, tender meats to the fluffy rice to the flavor of the hot sauce. This meal was very cheap for how amazing it was, with a taco that I couldn't finish and boxed it up and took it back home with me. I will order this again, no question. Service was excellent. When I came in, I was sat down pretty fast at a booth and although it took a little longer than usual, it was because a fairly large just entered the building. The waitresses were very polite and were helpful and fast, they did a great job. Inside was good. A large amount of space inside was mostly filled by booths and tables with a few TV's scattered around. It was also a very colorful space, with pictures and art everywhere. Amazing smells from corner to corner, comfortable booths and a classic Mexican restaurant feel are what you have here at El Potrillo. From amazing food and drinks, to fast service and polite servers, to a spacious, colorful inside and mouth-watering smells, El Potrillo hits every mark. I look forward to coming back here again for another great meal. Thank you!

We got one red and one green. The green one was delicious, the red lacking sauce but I could have went and asked for a small amount but chose not too. The shredded chicken could use a little more moisture but that's ok. Burrito was spicy but husband likes spice. Warning though, when I say he likes spice, he goes looking for spicy challenge, not many impress him like this one did. Good flavored spicy, not just heat and not overly vinegary. The rice was on point, soft, fluffy, good flavor. The salsa bar is small but clean and stocked. All the salsas have a unique flavor. The best part was the cheesecake churro bites. yes. $5 for a nice sized box of it plus icing. Thanks for lunch. Oh there was this one nasty lady that bitched about having to get her own utensils....they're next to the salsa bar and the soda machine. So that's a thing out here in Kingman I've noticed, you got to look at the demographics of these reviews and the ages of the folks leaving them...a lot of them are bitchy old white folks that don't get their way, or they just haaaaad to complain about the one little thing that went wrong out of the 8th time of being there that month. Yall know who I'm talking about...and the rest of you know I'm talking about you. Anywho, it's a good little Mexican spot, make sure you tell them lots of enchilada sauce.
