I'm so disappointed that I stopped eating to do this review so I didn't forget. We needed a quick lunch and were nearby, ordered here off the online menu which had no prices, mistake. Positive is fast, that's all. We got the chicken and rice bowl ($15), red chicken quesadilla ($14), 12 Two Chile Rellenos plate ($17) and 2 Cheeseburger combos ($17). My sons liked the burgers but $17 is outrageous for a single patty burger, fries and a fountain drink. The chicken in the bowl was dry and chewy. The red chicken quesadilla had very little cheese and the shredded chicken inside while a good sized portion did not taste good. My wife liked the rellenos ok but overall this is mediocre food at an outrageous price. $84.55 for our to-go lunch in styrofoam containers, never again. read more

The portion size was very generous and flavorful, larger than most burritos we usually get at other places. The staff and owner Federico we're VERY NICE, FRIENDLY and ACCOMMODATING to our needs. My chicken tostada was soggy due to them not draining the juice off the chicken. Zero Flavor even with the green sauce. Stopped here on a road trip. It's very no-frills, there are a few picnic tables but no bathroom. I enjoyed my carne asada torta - portion and flavor were good and it came with avocado slices. My boyfriend got the carne asada tacos which came with pico and avocado mixed in. I like when taco places add in the avocado since it normally costs extra. A fun find in Kingman AZ!! The food here is amazing and the portions are HUGE. I tried the fish tacos plate. The fish comes from New Zealand and it was tasty. It's battered, but not over fried. Excellent texture on the fish. The corn tortillas held up and weren't soggy. Loved the fresh pico de gallo, very tasty! My husband had the beef chimichanga and it was HUGE!! The accompanying rice was good, beans were fantastic and the tortilla was huge and nice and chewy, not gummy like from the supermarket. I am definitely going back! Best overall place for Mexican food in Kingman. Have tried several places in Kingman that serve Mexican food (Plaza Bonita, Oysters, El Rancho, El Tio, Humbertos, etc) and Fredericos is our favorite. We probably eat here 2-4 times per month. Our usual is the crispy beef taco and tostada combo. The taco and tostada are always crispy and fresh as well as the lettuce and other toppings. Also, have the option of getting ground beef in the crispy beef tacos. Unfotrunatley, they don't have any spicy salsa. The service is always excellent....fast and friendly. I come here multiple times when I come to visit Kingman. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The seating is sort of outdoorsy, like a screened porch. But they put out heating lamps in the winter to help customers stay warm. They are fast at getting your order, they always have good deals if you read the signs. Federico's recently opened up a store across the street from the office where I work. So far I've had the chicken tacos, the bean burritos, mini tacos, and the tortilla chips with their pico de gallo. The food is all very good, just a little on the greasy side for my preference. (Did I mention I cooked professionally for about 25 years, so I'm very picky about restaurant food?) I expected the chips with pico to be on the boring side, but I was really surprised. I don't what seasonings they use, but wow, it's fabulous. I was supposed to be sharing the chips with my coworkers and it was hard not to keep them all for myself!
