I Always paid him on time and never gave him a reason to get upset. Since then, he has been harassing my tenants and me, threatening to call the city inspector to come to my buildings, sending my tenants ideas how they can sue me trying to force a Tennent to go on a date with him for smoke and drink in a very aggressive way, and many more... He seems to be very desperate for work and claimed that no one wants to hire him and kept asking me for more work, and when I said, I'm not willing to work with him, he get upset and start threatening again. I would stay away from this guy and will never let him in my house or any of my properties. I also filed a police report against him and restriction order together with a few of my tenants that has been harassed I attached a few screenshots to show the type of service you will be dealing with working with this company. We tried to get a proposal from another "Oak Park" firm (which is actually just an Oak Park mail drop) and they never even came back with a proposal. Twelve years ago, we had the house painted and went cheap and regretted it. We definitely got our moneys worth with Thomas Restoration. Highly recommend.

Started out good as they came out fast for a quote. Since the other companies I contacted either…read moredid not callback or said it would be 2 months just to come give a quote, they got the job. Did the work but I give them a B- for quality. Could not paint because it started snowing. Within a few weeks a board came loose, and it took several calls to get them to come back and fix it. Spring came and they never returned to paint. After several calls and discussions about what "Paint as needed" written on the contract means. Today they came back to paint. They only painted the boards they replaced not the whole thing. It looks poorly. If you use them make sure you have everything they are to do spelled out in the contract. I will not be using their services again.

David made it look a million times better after he was done. The job took two days, where he repaired the ceiling, then painted it. Very efficient, good pricing and all around good guy.

I had called multiple roofers because I was having an issue with water leaking into my living room…read more None of them though could give me a definitive answer as to what was causing the issue and would therefore not perform any guaranteed work to fix the issue. I asked all the roofers if they wanted to cut into the ceiling but all insisted 'we work from the top down, not the bottom up'. I contacted Wall Eye to see if they would cut into my ceiling so I could perform an investigation into the issue myself. When David came by I got A LOT more than I expected. He not only did a great job of making a clean cut into my ceiling, he then took the time to take a look at the damage inside the ceiling, go outside to take a look at what was above the leak, and go upstairs to take a look at the window/roof above the leak. Before he left he told me 'I'm not a roofer but if I was to bet, your issue lies either with the seal around your window or the portion of your roof right above it". After David left I contacted another roofing company to come by and give their opinion of the issue (now being able to see inside the ceiling) and they stated they believed the issue was the EXACT same thing David did. The roofing company said they were so sure that this was the issue (based on being able to see inside the ceiling) that they were now able to guarantee the work that was done. The roofers have since completed their work and I have not the issue since. I am sure there are dozens if not more drywall contractors out there who can cut a hole or patch a hole - thankfully I was able to find one though who went completely above and beyond what was requested and/or required - David is a true 'class act' who I will never hesitate to call for any drywall work I need done in the future.

Pat Keenan, the owner, was the salesperson and oversaw the project end to end. He kept us informed throughout the entire process, they were able to get to us within a few weeks, and they found a lot of ways to add value beyond the scope of work. The crews were all very professional. At the end of the project I noticed a few screens were ripped during the project and Pat personally came over to pick them up and get them rescreened. We love our new home and will definitely use Keenan in future projects!
