Humbowl Wagon does not have a consistent location/business hours, but has shifted their business more towards catering and event pop-ups in the community. My team and I recently worked with Humbowl Wagon for corporate events for our employee appreciation and she was really flexible and easy to work with and many of our employees enjoyed her acai bowls, including me! Not to mention, her rates were very reasonable considering the going rate for acai bowls! They set you up with the basics of acai, granola, and fruits, and you can then add your own unlimited toppings of things like goji berries, coconut shavings, cocoa nibs, almonds, honey, and even liliko'i butter. I highly recommend the liliko'i butter and goji berries! She also sells her liliko'i butter directly to consumers and it's also available at Pukulani Superette. I would definitely recommend Humbowl Wagon for an event big or small, just need to make sure there's a big enough space to accommodate her van. If you're having a smaller gathering, I just saw she also has party packs available which serves up to 10 bowls and includes fruits and toppings of your choice. So cute! read more

After following Humbowl for a while, I FINALLY made it! She was at Whale Day on my side of the island, so it was perfect. Someone at the gym had mentioned to me a while back how good it was, so I've been eagerly awaiting this moment. There was no line, so I walked right up & ordered the Keiki Hapa Haole Bowl. It was ready within minutes & boy did it look good. At first bite, the acai was the perfect texture & on the sweeter side as it is mixed with coconut nectar. The toppings were amazing. That crunch of the granola & nuts in there was everything! Besides the fruits, it had coconut shavings, almonds, cocoa nibs, bee pollen, granola, & if you follow her on Instagram, she always talks about Tutu's lilikoi butter. Yup, thats' on there too. Also, don't be too disappointed when you gobble down all your toppings as there is more of that goodness on the bottom. So yes, you have enough for every bite. Another good thing is that her bowls aren't filled to the very top. I've had ones where as I'm going in for the first scoop, I've lost some fruits along the way. Açaí bowls are my favorite food. So I'm a tough critic. This by far is in my top 5 açaí bowls. The texture was PERFECT and exactly on point. They don't use an apple juice base (I'm allergic and it makes it watered down). The fruits they use were fresh and more than just the standard strawberry and blueberry. The granola they use was the BEST. Not everyone uses this type of granola but everyone should. Also, I just found out they do private events and catering so that would be a neat idea. Unsure how much but the açaí bowls were worth it. Oh and I wanted to point out that the bowls they use and utensils are earth friendly so yay. read more

Their menu and their efforts to take local farm goods to table is commendable. This food truck uses items from Kumu Farms, O'oka Farms, Kula Farming and La'akea Farms. Humbowl Wagon specializes in vegan menu which is great and they also sell driftwood macrame items along with succulents. This food truck highly encourages being plastic free, reusing and sustainable containers. They also use paper straws in their drinks. I ordered their fizzy Kula strawberry, lemonade drink which I was excited about. I was expecting the size to be a lot larger for the cost. The flavor was zesty and bright initially but over a short period of time it ebbed exponentially and left the drink bland. Something to note and watch out for future purchases is their taxes and pricing. I bought one of their drinks and ended up paying 70 cents in tax when usually it's like 15 cents. Normal hours are Wed - Sat: 8:00am to 2:00pm in Paia. They do go to the Sunday Night Market in Kahului. The website online does not list their menu and neither does their Instagram but they seem to have a standard set menu. I might come back to try their food items next time around. read more

One left a five star review and the other left a one star review. Who should you trust? Before writing a review Yelp asks that you do not review the business if you are connected to the owner or employees in any way. I am writing this review and I have a connection to the owner, does this mean I can't be trusted? Here's the deal fellow yelp readers who might be confused if they should visit or not...You can trust...ME! {{Mua-ha-ha-ha-ha}} If you are looking for an açaí bowl with an açaí texture that does not melt in 3 seconds after being presented in to your hands then this Wagon is for you. You know when you get to the bottom of an açaí bowl and there's no granola left and the last bit is just a soup of açaí? Yea, you won't experience that here because 1) The layout of the ingredients in the bowl is: açaí - granola - more açaí - more granola - local (seasonal) fruits - toppings of your choice. That's genius! Your last bite will contain granola! You want to experience that, don't you? 2) The consistency of the açaí is unmatched. I'm not sure what magic Humbowl Wagon is using to give Maui the best açaí around but if you're intrigued...you should go! The team of girls working Humbowl are the most dedicated people I've seen working on this island. Everyday there's an effort being made to improve the Humbowl Wagon experience. There's a huge importance placed on supporting other small businesses of Maui, as a result of that effort and a lot of hard work, the bowls are amazing. They are delicious, consistent, beautiful to the eye and very fairly priced relative to most food options on Maui. This is especially true of their catering costs. Literally THE BEST bowls on island! The texture is spot on, double layer granola so you have a crunchy treat at the end is amazeballz, and Tutu's Lilikoi butter is da bomb!
