My son loved the steak we got here! The service was amazing and quick while being made to order. Everything was hot and fresh! We had such a nice conversation with the people working there, and they gave us great advice on things to do and enjoy. This food truck is located in a communal food truck area with plenty of outdoor seating only. Plenty of parking in their gravel parking lot and close to the airport. We would definitely return. Have a try Yelpers! Cheers to good eats xx

We went here a few weeks ago when we visited Maui. The food was fantastic for a food truck. Big portion and worth the price. It was raining and Maui was getting ready for the big storm in 30 yrs so this place wasn't as crowded. We enjoyed the food.

For a food truck I was skeptical about steak and lobster but I was so wrong. The ny steak was so good just the right amount of salt and the lobster tail was huge. The sauces were shoyu ginger and a mustard sauce and it went well with both. The veggies were mostly onions but o well they were busy and super nice will definitely be going back.

Been here atleast twice! Haven't tried anything else other than the grilled Mahi mahi plate. Nothing fancy but flavor wise is delicious. It comes with rice, side veggies, lemon and tartar sauce. Located near Costco and usually at the far end of the food truck area. Good and friendly service. Plenty seating near by.

I have always wanted to try Ono teppanyaki but I didn't like where it is located cause it is a busy place and I may not able to find parking, that's what I thought until we finally decided to go and try them out, parking wasn't so bad after all, and we did call ahead of time so all I did was pick up my orders. Order over the phone was quick and easy the lady who picked up the phone was very friendly I even had to call back and add on and she made sure to let the cook know so I didn't have to wait too long for it. Food we got Ribeye steak and lobster : 9/10 my other half wanted the meat cooked Medium but it was overcooked. But he did say it was still good Scallop and Shrimp: 10/10 Scallops was cooked perfectly the kids and I love it Overall it was nice to finally try it out we may even come back to try the rest. It is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for

Phenomenal food with amazing quality and easily some of the best prices in Maui. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and well-made. It's hard to find a spot that delivers this level of quality without overcharging, but they absolutely do. Great value, great service, and definitely a place I'd come back to again.

Fine dining from a food truck??? Absolutely. Lobster tail for $14 was amazing. They also have delicious meals with steak and shrimp plus lobster as well. So worth it! Great fun atmosphere

Went here for dinner. Located in the Plate Lunch Market. Food was prepared quickly and everything tasted great. We got the Blackened Ahi plate with an add on of 2 shrimp skewers and the scallops plate with another shrimp skewer. Each plate came with veggies (mushrooms, onions and zucchini) and rice all on a bed of cabbage. Would definitely recommend.

One of my favorite local plate lunches to stop by, I always get the Steak Stir Fry because of how amazing it pairs with their sauces, but I've also gotten their seafood plates and they're just as ono! - Miguel Morales Photography

Good is always delicious and cooked to perfection! Call for fastest service as they are very popular and often times have a decent line in person. Our favorite teppanyaki spot for sure!

Best seasoned steak from a food truck! I got the 10oz ribeye with scallops. Everything was well seasoned and delicious and my meat was cooked to my preference. They're special sauce was that special. It kind of tasted like hot mustard and shoyu. The food didn't need any sauce, it was good on its own. It is a bit pricey though. There's benches right in front of the truck to sit and enjoy your food. Service was excellent and the food came out quick.

Took forever to receive our order, maybe 30 minutes jeesh. They were apologetic to everyone for the wait. The issue was there was only two orders in front of us; oh well. Lobster Plate was expensive but tasty. Looks like a lot sitting atop of the empty shell.

We've been coming here for years and I've always enjoyed my experiences here, but last night I had a dish that compelled me to write a review. The oxtail soup which is listed as a favorite is a dish I've been eyeing for a while, but it's usually been too warm for me to crave it. But last night was the night. I'm getting over a cold and it's been raining off and on for weeks. The bowl arrived at the table with a plate underneath - smart move because it takes some work to eat oxtail soup. Armed with my fork and spoon, I went at it. The first taste floored me. It was perfectly seasoned and I could taste the fresh ginger, the broth was a beautiful brown color, there was plenty of napa cabbage and it came with a dish of a scoop of glossy steamed rice and steamed carrots, zucchini and broccoli. Our waitress offered to bring over condiments so I went for the soy sauce - sprinkled on the rice and veggies, I noticed that the veggies might have had a little sesame oil flavor on them so that made me happy. A spoonful of rice dunked into the broth with some of the tender fall of the bone oxtail meat, and a little crunch of the napa cabbage and I was in absolute heaven. I tasted my husband's pork adobo and that was equally as delicious as always. But that soup - that's what really did it for me last night and stays with me today. I walked out of Tante's with a swollen and happy belly and a fresh, tiny piece of ginger stuck between my teeth...a treat for later.

The food was great and so was the service. The prices were good and the portions were generous. I had shoyu chicken and my husband had ribs. Neither one of us were able to finish ours and we wanted to because it was delicious. The meat just fell off the bone. I did order a piece of cake to go. After getting back to our room I realized it was an ice cream cake so even as full as I was I tried to eat some cake before it all melted. The had the place decorated all up for Christmas. The lady that waited on us was super nice and kept our drinks filled. I love that attention.

They've been part of the island's food scene for over 12 years now, and I still remember their off-the-beaten-path spot on Hobron Avenue in Kahului. You would have never guessed there was delicious food being served up there, but those who knew, knew. These days, you can find them in Kahului parked at Da Tambayan Corner on Lono Avenue, or sometimes popping up out at Ho'okipa. Now, full disclosure -- I don't eat raw fish, so I can't personally vouch for their poke bowls, but that's what they're known for and I've had a number of friends and family enjoy it. What I can vouch for, though, is their fried poke -- perfectly seasoned ahi cubes, floured and fried, served over rice and lettuce, and drizzled with a creamy mayo aioli. Get it hurricane style for extra sauce and furikake seasoning -- it's delicious and gives it an extra boost as once in a while it's on the drier side. Another favorite is the poke bake, which is just as satisfying and generously portioned. Started getting this recently and it hits the spot. Highly recommend either dish, especially if you're like me and prefer your fish cooked. And whatever you do, don't skip the furikake fries -- curly fries topped with aioli and furikake. SO good. Beyond the great food, my team has worked with Like Poke for company events, and they're always a hit. Friendly service and consistent quality eats that keep people coming back -- they're a favorite among locals for a reason.

Food: We ordered the honey walnut shrimp, miso butterfish, garlic furikake fries, hamachi sashimi, garlic noodles, and crispy chicken. My favorite was the hamachi sashimi. What I enjoyed about this dish was the diced maui onion that offset the citrus from the ponzu. The flavors are light, and refreshing. The most disappointing was the crispy chicken. I thought it was too salty, but that's my preference and salt tolerance. The miso butterfish was also a great dish. The fish was buttery and flavored well. Not too saucy but the perfect amount of sauce. Service: Service is friendly, like most of the restaurants on Maui. The food was served in a timely manner. The ambiance is casual and felt like a bar restaurant. Overall, I'm not sure if I would return. After ordering 6-7 dishes, I wanted to be blown away by at least 4-5 of them, but that wasn't the case.
