I keep trying to make this place a good choice, but it just isn't. The jars on the table are grossly dirty, the fish tank could use a good cleaning and the last time we were there the chicken in my dinner was inedible. It was as if the chicken had been boiled for days, but the vegetables were crisp and delicious. There was zero texture left in the chicken and it seemed like I was eating chunks of fat. Can't believe I'm back after 4 years! Another road trip. Had the Mu Shu Pork this time plus an egg roll. Shoulda skipped the egg roll because I couldn't finish the mu shu. It was good actually, lots of authentic mushrooms, bamboo shoots, etc and the pancakes were excellent. It was just too much for one person. Service was a bit surly again, but he got the job done. The food and service were very good but the restaurant didn't seem very well kept. The entry door was dirty and marked up. The fish tank right as you walk in had VERY cloudy water in it and desperately needed a water change. The carpet also had many black dirty marks on it. I really enjoy the food and service at this location. Today we made the trip to Kearney just for lunch to celebrate my son's birthday. The place was really busy and the buffet had to be restocked with almost everything when we arrived which meant it was in demand and fresh. My favorite item is the honey chicken. This sweet dish wouldn't typically be my favorite choice at most other places as I enjoy savory over sweet most of the time. There's just something special about the way the honey crystalizes and creates an added texture to the dish that makes it unlike any other I've tasted. Service is great too! The staff is always attentive and friendly. I like that they offer some small gift items for sale near the checkout too. read more

Tried to support local. Last time it was not even warm just gross. I can't believe this place is still around.

Hostess was not wearing a mask and the menus were dirty. Hot mustard sits on the table and everyone uses the same container with the same spoon in it, needless to say I didn't have any. They must put baking soda on the chicken to make it tender, because it was like mush. This is the second time we had gone there and we won't be back. Curbside delivered Cashew Chicken with fried rice and egg drop soup and 2 crab rangoons was very good. Called in and paid over the phone and drove one mile to pick up.
