Very disappointed. The food tasted terrible--everything seemed bland, stale, and had an odd flavor. I couldn't even finish my meal. This was one of the worst Chinese food experiences I've had, and I won't be coming back. I hope they improve the quality because it was not worth the money. read more

Can't believe I'm back after 4 years! Another road trip. Had the Mu Shu Pork this time plus an egg roll. Shoulda skipped the egg roll because I couldn't finish the mu shu. It was good actually, lots of authentic mushrooms, bamboo shoots, etc and the pancakes were excellent. It was just too much for one person. Service was a bit surly again, but he got the job done. I found part of a metal dish scrubber in my food. The walls, floors, ceiling fan and fish tank are filthy!

The food was good until I found a piece of steel scouring pad in it. Some of the dishes were chipped. The fish tank was very smelly. The ceiling fans were off and very dirty as were the walls and floors. The service was ok. Its a shame used to be a great place to eat! read more

The food and service were very good but the restaurant didn't seem very well kept. The entry door was dirty and marked up. The fish tank right as you walk in had VERY cloudy water in it and desperately needed a water change. The carpet also had many black dirty marks on it. Decent food, the price point is good. Quality of food was alright. It fulfilled my cravings but I'd definitely go elsewhere if you want better quality food. It's just standard Chinese food chef might bless it a bit too much with salt. The service was good. Hope they get it together for next time I'm in town. Hunan Garden has excellent service for both dine in and carry out. The moo goo gai pan is my favorite. It's always fresh and tasty.

I really enjoy the food and service at this location. Today we made the trip to Kearney just for lunch to celebrate my son's birthday. The place was really busy and the buffet had to be restocked with almost everything when we arrived which meant it was in demand and fresh. My favorite item is the honey chicken. This sweet dish wouldn't typically be my favorite choice at most other places as I enjoy savory over sweet most of the time. There's just something special about the way the honey crystalizes and creates an added texture to the dish that makes it unlike any other I've tasted. Service is great too! The staff is always attentive and friendly. I like that they offer some small gift items for sale near the checkout too. read more

Tried to support local. Last time it was not even warm just gross. I can't believe this place is still around.

Hostess was not wearing a mask and the menus were dirty. Hot mustard sits on the table and everyone uses the same container with the same spoon in it, needless to say I didn't have any. They must put baking soda on the chicken to make it tender, because it was like mush. This is the second time we had gone there and we won't be back. Curbside delivered Cashew Chicken with fried rice and egg drop soup and 2 crab rangoons was very good. Called in and paid over the phone and drove one mile to pick up. It was ready and delivered to my car window when we arrived. It was so good and the $9.95 meal was more than enough for the two of us. read more

i literally just got off the phone with this restaurant I tried to order food through this restaurant. I had given my mail to the lady and it was a combination plate with sesame chicken. I had asked her if I could replace the soup with an extra eggroll she said oh my oh no we can't do that. That's why it's a combination plate, so hey cool whatever I let it go so I continue with my order. Hi, I finish ordering and then I give her my phone number and then she goes on and asked me if I know where they are located, because I have a weird phone number I had explain to her that I was here working from out of town. She had then asked me if I could name something in town after that I just couldn't take it. I had told her exactly how I felt. I cannot believe I was interrogated like the police by a Chinese restaurant lady are you crazy? I can't have gluten, and went in to see what I could have knowing what I usually get (General Tso's chicken) wasn't an option due to breading. when the woman at the counter heard me, she said they could do it with non breaded chicken no problem! she also asked if I wanted it spicy or not, to which I responded no since I'm not someone who likes a lot of spice and it was truly some of the best ive had, breaded or not. will definitely be returning! My family has stopped here twice on road trips between Minnesota and Texas. Our last stop was yesterday, when we called ahead to place our order and thus save time on a long drive. The food turned out be delicious and ample in portion, and the service was most pleasant. One of the employees played a few classical pieces on the piano - no kidding - and added "Red River Valley" for some odd reason. I really liked their home-style bean curd dish, and the pork fried rice was yummy. My daughter ordered the sweet and sour chicken, which might have been better if they had not put the sauce all over it before serving it.
