I recently ordered from Red Wok and the food was truly amazing. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. I ordered the chicken lo mein and the chicken fried rice, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The only downside was that my order for Hunan shrimp was mixed up, and I ended up receiving the jalapeño shrimp instead. It wasn't what I ordered, and definitely not something I would've chosen, but even with the mix-up, you can tell the food is made well. Despite that mistake, I'm still giving them five stars because the quality of the food speaks for itself, and I will definitely be ordering from them again. It is one of our Christmas traditions to have Chinese food every Christmas Eve (think A Christmas Story). This year we chose Red Wok and are happy we did. The interior is on the small side and rather nondescript if not plain. The good news was the service provided by Luis. He was personable, talkative, and attentive. The food was excellent - hot, fresh and plentiful. I had shrimp black pepper with a bowl of hot and sour soup, fried rice, and egg rolls. It was delish and I brought enough home for another meal. My wife had sweet and sour chicken, a crab Rangoon, an egg roll, fried shrimp and white rice. There was a ton of food and she's having some of what she brought home as I type this. This is one of my favorite sit down resturants! My first point the food is amazing, I totally would recommend the crab rangoon and the orange chicken is phenomenal. First visit to Red Wok for lunch. For $8.50 you get an entree with choice of meat, soup (wonton, eggdrop or hot and sour) and an appetizer (crab rangoon or eggroll). My order was straightforward-pork mei fun, crab rangoon and wonton soup but the booth next to me had young children and asked to modify some of the dishes for them. It was absolutely no problem! We ordered online and it was ready within 10 minutes! As soon as I walked in, someone helped me and let me know that my food was being prepared. The lady who brought out our food was very sweet. All of our food was very fresh and served hot! Best flavor Crab Rangoon I have ever had! Steamed rice was fresh and served still steaming and the fried rice was rich and had plenty of add ins. Got serious food poisoning in early Oct 2023 from chicken dish, was ill for 10 days & visited NKC ER.

Too tired for a lengthy review but this sucked. Ordered crab rangoon, fried dumplings, and shrimp with broccoli, extra spicy. Crab rangoon were large and good filling but the dipping sauce tasted like they just squeezed duck sauce packets into a container. Fried dumplings were skinny, overcooked husks. Ahrimp with broccoli did not have a brown sauce like everywhere else i have ordered it but had some yellowish sauce with like a 1/2" of water floating on top like it separated. Extra spicy came from someone taking a shaker of red pepper flakes and shaking it on too. Was much higher $ than other places as well. $30 with a couple buck tip. Def not one $. At least they delivered to the hotel. Just noticed. Although the itemized bill shows $26.53, the credit card slip shows they charged me $27.12. Driver also handed me the slip to sign with a tip line which i did, then found out after i asked for the itemized that they charged a delivery fee. The meal that just keeps giving. read more

This is the 4th time we have ordered from Red Wok. We used to go to Chinatown Express on North Oak Trafficway, but the quality of the food seemed to have declined and we weren't satisfied. We received menus in the mail from Red Wok, and being a self-proclaimed "foodie" with a love of menus, I saved the menu and one day we were craving Chinese food and decided to give this place a try. SOOO GLAD WE DID! The food is phenomenal. Alex, the manager, is very kind and customer-service oriented. On our last visit, we didn't make it home with one of our soups, so I called to ask about it. Alex promised to make it right the next time we placed an order, and he did just that. He even remembered our whole conversation about it over the phone from a few weeks ago!! IMPRESSIVE, IMMPECCABLE customer service coming from a manager who indeed makes good on his promises. We will continue to return to Red Wok. Next time, I'd like to dine in. The atmosphere is inviting and warm. I dig the homey vibe in there. When my daughter and I walked in to pick up our food, we were greeted with warm air and made conversation with a few other customers there who'd come to pick up their orders. They, too, agreed that the Chinese food can't be beat here in the Northland. A few weeks ago I ordered food here and all three of my meals came cold like they had been sitting out for at least an hour. They told me they would replace one of my entrées for me on my next order. I called today to request that entrée and they basically told me that I am lying, and that they do not take names. I will never order from them again.
