Orange Flavored Chicken and General Tso's Chicken
Amy P.

Yay!! My first time trying out their orange chicken and general Taos and I highly recommend I will be coming back again. Saucey, not too sweet not too salty (I HATE too sweet!!) and 2 small containers of rice were included for free! I called in and picked up btw very flavorful I wouldn't eat this without pairing with rice but it comes with rice for free hehe

Do not order their greasy food. Their delivery service can also take as long as 1.5 hours and they claim it only takes within 40 min

Not very good, they have a greasy buffet and some okay entree's. Even the Chinese menu still uses low quality meat.

Portions are good and the prices are good. Enjoyed eating here. Satisfied a teenage guy. :)

The dry pot frog was great; the frog had a nice and crispy crust, and it was not too spicy! The service was good (4/5); our waited was friendly! We stopped in Blacksburg for an overnight stay and I was desperate for something to eat that wasn't from a bag at that point of the evening. If you know me, you know I'm always in the mood for Chinese food and if it's Sichuan, I'm at absurd levels of contentment. Spicity is a swell little spot in a strip mall and has plenty of seating. With it being right after New Years and at the end of winter break, it was very quiet and blissfully empty (I'd had enough of holiday crowds), as was literally every other restaurant we passed in town. It's spacious, has plenty of seating and has a pleasant atmosphere, if a little bright for my liking. Not that I cared because dry pot is on the menu! I started with a tofu ribbon app that is absolutely delicious (not spicy to me, but I think it had a little chili oil). And the cabbage hot pot, which I ordered extra spicy and they delivered! The bits of tofu skin made it even better. While I wasn't a huge fan of it being overwhelmed by bell peppers, I feel like it's one of those things I'd be able to adjust if I came back (perhaps next year?) They get major bonus points for being open late, too. Looks like delivery is until 9 but the restaurant is open til 11 on Fri/Sat, 10 on Sundays and 10:30 all other nights. Driving through so many small college towns, I'm seeing so many places that are only open until 8:30 or 9.

The menu is inspired by Chinese culinary heritage and defined by next-generation cooking. It faces the parking lot on the roof of the parking garage near the rotary on Prices Fork Road. Drive up the ramp on Turner Street. Junzi is employed in the Book of Changes to mean a superior, ideal person who constantly cultivates virtue and improves their character, and by Confucius in his works to describe a virtuous person with noble characters. Jeanne and I ate there today and had delicious bowls of noodles, meat and vegetables. I came away feeling really good and looking forward to eating there again! And with much leftover to eat later. Get to the 2nd floor parking lot by turning up the ramp from Turner St. then just walk in. No access from inside Gilbert place academic building - must enter from outside. Food: healthy options with some sauces that kick (if you want). I got the lion meatballs bowl with knife cut noodles - yum! Like the simplicity, healthy options, and that it's very easy to take to-go

I'm a second generation Chinese-American and my Chinese isn't quite at the level of native speakers. I still always try to speak Chinese whenever I'm at a Chinese restaurant. However, I felt ridiculed by the lady running the cash register - who went out of her way to mention how poor my Chinese is. I brushed that off and still ordered my food. My friend and I ate-in, and there weren't any other people at the restaurant. The food was average. I found the dumplings to be very ordinary and quite small. I wish that I had better words to say, but I overall didn't have a good time here and won't be back.

We kept a piece of wire once to show them, and another time found, and kept, a piece of plastic. Showed the owner those things both times and owner was just kind of 'oh well' attitude. Offered us a free egg roll but we declined both times as their once great egg rolls had gone down hill over the years: greasy and half the size. Then owners got short tempered and non-smiling where once had been happy people. Food kept getting from bad to worse so we stopped going there. Miss chinese food but finding foreign objects in one's food is unacceptable. They weren't regretful at all and even seemed to think we were not telling the truth! So take your chances in going to Double Dragon if you must. We do not recommend.
